  1. Hi, thanks for making this plug-in available for us. I am having exactly the same issue as Quad' above, ie. when trying to install the plugin the script aborts with this message: plugin: installing: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/SlrG/unRAID/master/Plugins/ProFTPd.plgplugin: downloading https://raw.githubusercontent.com/SlrG/unRAID/master/Plugins/ProFTPd.plgplugin: downloading: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/SlrG/unRAID/master/Plugins/ProFTPd.plg ... doneCleaning up previous install files...Executing selfremoval commands if present......Cleanup complete!Downloading any missing plugin files...Latest plugin control files downloading...Unable to download missing plugin control files. Aborting installplugin: run failed: /bin/bash retval: 1 Now, I am not as clever as Quad and despite trying to follow his solution I am always getting the same error message. UnRaid 6.4.0, other plugins install and run fine and plenty of bandwidth is available. I'd appreciate any ideas to make it work.
  2. Thought append my solution here. Not really mine but took some time to find it and it worked for me. Problem: Transmission cannot save files into data directory: Permission denied error. Run as nobody, permissions repaired, still no go. This worked: "Re: Permission denied by endle I was having a very similar issue, and also have scoured the web looking for possible solutions. Finally it dawned on me, so I wanted to post this here for posterities sake: Currently, I have a seperate hard-drive mounted as /mnt/Downloads and then I sym-link to that from my home-folder. After trying every possible configuration of permissions, I finally figured out that Transmission wanted the direct path to the Downloads folder (/mnt/Downloads) rather than my sym-link path of /home/me/Downloads Once I did this, and then restarted transmission-daemon, the permission errors went away" So in Transmission config I replaced //Downloads to //mnt/user/Downloads, restarted Transmission, success! :-)))
  3. Now that looks good indeed. Never realized that you could fit two 3.5" drives into the top compartment. Will now buy an eSATA-SATA and a molex to 2 SATA power cable. Maplin parts reserved. Thanks guys for all the great info. Or just put the 5th and 6th drive in the 5.25" bay? See this post for more info: http://www.avforums.com/forums/14738494-post576.html
  4. Thanks. I already have a spare F4 in a system I built for ripping and compressing my DVD/BluRay collection with MakeMKV/Handbrake and having finished the project (many-many weeks) that extra drive is coming out. It certainly deserves a place on top of the microServer! Any ideas about a reasonable enclosure?
  5. Hi guys I have 5x2TB Samsung F4 unRaid build (with the modded BIOS) working just fine. To increase capacity (having the 6th drive license) I was thinking to add another F4 in a separate enclosure and connect it to the microserver with an eSATA-eSATA cable. Will this work ? Thanks.
