  1. Hi all, could someone shortly summarize what file permissions are required to be able to delete files from within plex with the official lime-tech docker template? It looks like all my files in /Application Support/Plex Media Server/ are mapped to unraid-plex:users (plex settings), while all media files in the shares are mapped to nobody:users (unraid settings). As far as I can tell, that's what it should be. Plex runs fine, finds new media but is not able to delete content for me. What should I change? It must be caused by a permissions issue.
  2. Hi bonienl, how would you configure the sleep settings in case you have to deal with a plex docker: - plex seems to cause network traffic to update its state - plex seems to cause disc activity to update its cache - my discs get spun down after a while but then get up spinning after 2-15 minutes I need to: - keep the server running after WOL for 1 hour - put the server to sleep, if no user directly interacts with it - put the server to sleep, plex stopped streaming and had an idle time for 1 hour If you would allow the option to spin up all discs after WOL, the requirements could be simplified: - keep it running until all discs are spun down
  3. Hi all, I am looking for a more convenient solution to copy files directly between my assigned devices/shares and my external USB devices (mounted via the great "unassigned devices" plugin) At the moment I am using any of the 2 options: a) using my windows desktop pc to copy & paste files which will produce a lot of extra network traffic and my desktop pc has to stay up b) using a telnet connection & file commander or similar tools how do you move files internally in unraid? best
  4. Sounds just great. Thank you!
  5. Hi, thanks for providing these plugins. I am happily using half of them on a daily basis. Here a feature request for the S3 Sleep plugin: Using Plex on my unRaid server, there will always be a disc up and running. Seems the plex processes keep it busy, which I don't like at all, but that's how it is To use the S3 sleep script, I therefore have to configure "wait for array inactivity: false" Instead I just want to monitor the network activities and go to sleep, if there has not been any for lets say 30 minutes. Your script however first checks the array inactivity (skips it in my case), than does the count down (Extra delay after array inactivity) and afterwards starts monitoring the network traffic. If the network traffic drops below a threshold just once, the server goes to sleep. Could you allow us to wait an "Extra delay" after the network inactivity has been detected? --> "if the servers network inactivity (or the threshold) are given for at least XX minutes, shut down" As it is at the moment: as soon as you select "wait for spin down: false" and your movie ends running, the server will go to sleep because of the network idleing Thanks!
