Greetings,
I enabled Active Directory in my SMB settings and it has a "AD join status":"Joined".
The "AD Initial Owner" and "AD initial group" are default, so "Administrator" and "Domain Users" respectfully.
The integration is working and I'm getting prompt to access the file shares and only users in my Domain AD are being accepted.
The problem is that I've unable to understand, and there is no documentation about it, how to really setup permissions for each fileshare.
As an example:
I have a share called "Temp" with the following SMB Security Settings:
Share name: Temp
Export: Yes (hidden)
Security: Secure
Than I have section for "User Access" that indicates that "Guests have read-only access" well and how the hell do I setup groups and extra users? Because it has no other buttons or options.
The folders inside this share are all owned by the unix/nobody (the user running docker) and I cant setup permissions to change those files (delete, move, etc).
Can someone teach me how to do this?
Ive search the forum and google and no luck so far.
Thank you,
Best Regards,
Ralms.
