Hi there, I am a little bit new at ssh but when I follow a tutorial about configuring a plugin I get stuck at changing the dir. Hope someone can help me out. ;) When I use the telnet client in HOOBS and I want to change from '/hoobs/etc #' to '/hoobs' I get the following error: sh: cd: can't cd to ~/.hoobs/: No such file or directory I am simply using the command 'cd ~/.hoobs/' Does anyone know what I am doing wrong here? Hope someone can help me out.

Just tried to install the latest RC5. But again it removes my SSD Cach Pool. It doesn't see my 2 Samsung 850 EVO disks anymore. All other disks are present. Only my 2 SATA SSD's are gone. With version 6.6.7 there is no problem with my SSD Cach Pool. Anyone??

Hi DoeBoye, Thanks for your help but many of the things you mention I’ve tried allready. The strange thing is that it used to work perfectly with the same GPU’s Your list: (my answers) 1. Swapping PCI-e slots (Done this. No luck) 2. Swapping order of GPU’s in slots (Again no luck) 3. Loading locally the video ROM (What do you mean by that?) 4. Different drivers (How can you do this if Windows is not even loaded yet?) 5. Different kexts/hacks for OSX (Same answer/question as 4) 6. Different versions/settings in boot manager OSX (Before clover bootloader is loaded settings in clover won’t matter) 7. Disable/enable on-board VGA (If I do this there is only 1 GPU left. Can Unraid and a VM Share 1 GPU without problems?) 8. Un-ligging hdmi cable until VM had loaded (Than I also won’t see the VM booting) Can you explain what you mean with 3, 4 and 7?

That is correct. Just like a normal computer with 2 GPU cards. 1 card you see the post etc. and the second won’t give any signal until Windows has loaded. Only this time it is a VM with 1 dedicated GPU and no VNC in the XML.

Hi there, I have this board with Dual Xeon processors. Hope someone also has this setup. Because I have some problem with it and I’m hoping to find a solution. My problem is with dedicated GPU’s on Virtual Machines. When I start a VM the screen stays black untill Windows loads the GPU drivers. Anyone else with this setup got this problem? Would love to know and maybe find the solution for my problem. Regards, John

But I don’t use a secondary connection. And even tried a new Unraid install and made the most basic vm with only a GPU, hdd, keyboard and mouse. But still nothing?

Are you telling me that maybe the drive size could be the problem with the LSI card? I also had a problem when I connected 2 850EVO SSD’s to this controller. Can’t remember exactly what the problem was but the problem ended when I connected 1 of those SSD’s to another controller.

Hmm that’s a shame. I also used to have a LSI 9211-8i (it mode) in this server but that controller gave UDMA errors so I changed the cables for new LSI cables but gave same problem. When I precleare a drive it would say at the Post Read that the drive was not empty. When I used the onboard Marvell or Intel controller it would preclear just fine. I thought the LSI would be the best choice for Unraid but I ended up removing it from the server. any idea what that error could be or is it maybe somehow related to my other errors?

Thanks for your quick response. The drive is recognised by seatools but with the shorttest it gives me the error code to send it in. So I’m gonna do that ofcourse. But don’t know if I wanna use the Marvell controller anymore. Because I have a 16 bay case but only 10 Sata connections if I don’t use the Marvell controller.

Hi there, This is a shot in the dark but here goes nothing... I’ve read somewhere that Marvell controllers and Unraid do not go hand in hand. But I do not know if one of my Unraid problems is related. Because I have a Asrock EP2C602 which uses the Marvell controller and just now my 8TB Ironwolf Harddisk died on it. It was connected to the onboard Marvell controller. A few days before another Harddisk from Seagate got corrupted and would not work with Unraid anymore. This last Harddisk has no problems in another computer and scans with a 100% health. I even put it back on the Unraid machine and it is working fine again. Strange?!?! Don’t know for sure if this Harddisk was connected to the Marvell controller before. The 8TB Ironwolf is in a worse shape. It only ticks and gives a error code with the Seagate dos tool. Could this all be related to the onboard Marvell controller?

Hi there, I’ve not switched from screen when the problem started happening. But tried diffrend screens with diffrend ports. (VGA, DVI and HDMI) Nothing works. I think your problem is maybe related but not exactly the same. Let me know if you have any luck.

There is a POST normally and a simulated BIOS. It is a problem for me. Anyone???

This is my setup: Unraid 6.4.0-RC9F Hardware: Motherboard - Asrock EP2C602 CPU - 2X Intel XEON E5-2680 RAMM - 2X HP 16GB 1866MHz PC3-14900 - CL13 Registerd - ECC (32GB) SATA Controller 1 - Onboard SATA Controller 2 - LSI 9211-8i Cache - Samsung 960 EVO M.2 (500GB) Array HDD’s - Div (16TB) Onboard GPU - Asrock VGA ASPEED PCIe GPU - AMD Radeon R9-280X Toxic The onboard VGA gives me the POST and Unraid GUI etc. The PCIe gives no image untill drivers have been loaded by Windows VM. I can’t see the POST for the VM’s. Tried a NVIDIA GPU but gives same problem. Tried diffrend Monitor. Tried diffrend PCIe slots from CPU 1 & CPU 2. Also tried a new USB stick with a Unraid trial and make new VM’s. Removed all other extension cards. (USB3.0, LSI SATA Card etc) Even tried Resetting my BIOS. But nothing seems to do the trick. It used to work just fine but don’t know when it stopped working because I mostly work remote. Does anyone know what is wrong?

Hi there, I have a problem with my VM’s. Every VM I start gives me a blank black screen while booting. It’s stays black untill the Windows Login screen loads. That is the moment my monitor gets for the first time a signal. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I’ve tried a diffrend GPU and a diffrend monitor. I even tried making a new VM with no extra’s. But unfortunally still nothing. VNC is running great. Anyone?

If I look at "System Information" it says "CPU: Not Specified @ Unknown" but when I look at "System Overview" I can find my CPU model. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I'm using: unRaid 6.3.3 Intel Xeon E5-2680 Asrock EP2C602

Does anyone know why I can't install a Windows VM anymore with multiple cores selected? If I change the amount of cores after installation everything works just fine! anyone?
