  1. I have just added this to my new unraid server and I too have no artwork or details for my media, as a site note, the container path variable for media is missing from the docker configuration, it has to be added manually.
  2. Now the parity has built, I get the same, initially its 112MB/s but falls off a cliff to around 25MB/s as you said.
  3. I mean a brand new array/configuration. If unraid can see the preclear signature, why is there still a need to calculate the parity. All discs will be zero, therefore the parity will also be zero.
  4. After preclearing the array and parity, all discs will be zeroed, so why is it necessary to build the parity?
  5. What parity check speeds do you all get in the N36L? The drives precleared at 70-80MB/s but the preclear is only running at 25MB/s. Is there something wrong somewhere?
  6. So with that in mind, assume you have a spare 2.5" bay, what do you put in it and what do you use it for?
  7. I guess another benefit is that you can spin down the entire array, just use the cache drive during the day and then the mover process can move the data at night?
  8. Does a bracket exist that will allow you to securely mount a 3.5" hard drive in the ODD bay with a 2.5" hard drive underneath it? Edit: I guess this would do the trick? https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Hard-Drive-Accessories/ORICO-Aluminum-Internal-Mounting-Screws-Absorption-AC52535/B01C6X31ZO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486738286&sr=8-1&keywords=2.5%2Band%2B3.5%2Bto%2B5.25&th=1
  9. I have set up a 5 drive array with 1 parity, no cache drive at the moment. I intend to use sonarr and deluge to automatically download on to the unraid server, would I be better to use a disk share for the actual downloading then extract it to the user share once it is done? Thanks.
  10. Ok, in that case I have had to put 4gb on non-ecc memory in it as I'm trying to keep cost down to an absolute minimum.
  11. The system only has 1gb of RAM but it never shows more than 60% utilisation under the dashboard.
  12. Trying to use this plugin on 6.3.0 to clear my disks, it gets so far then the web GUI stops updating so can't see any more progress and not sure if it ever actually finishes. First time doing all 5 disks at once it didn't get past the pre-read stage, doing 2 drives it got much further but has frozen during the verify on one drive and suck at pre-read on the other. 13. I have unRaid on a HP Microserver N36L. I have put 5 HDDs in and ran the preclear plugin. On going to bed last night the preclear was still running but this morning not much progress has been made since, the counters next to the preclear operation are not counting up and the CPU usage under the dashboard is just showing 100% The HDD light on the server is still lit and I can hear the hard drives working. Any ideas? hp-nas-diagnostics-20170208-0824.zip
