  1. While I am waiting, can I add a new drive to the array? Should I disable the 2 disks that I am waiting on? Will this create any further issues?
  2. I have since added a cache drive with no issues and have added Sab, SB and CP to the cache drive. Everything else seems to being back to where i wanted it. I just need to get those data drive back into the array,... hopefully without losing any of that data. Thanks so much for you help!
  3. Hi all! I am trying to start from scratch with a clean thumb drive. I "had" 2 drive +parity drive. I have got through the install following http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=Configuration_Tutorial. I copied which HHD was in what location (ie, Disk1, Disk2, Parity) then used that information when adding the drive back to the array. Now Disk1 and Disk2 show as unformatted. I know both of these disk have unRAID data on them. Where do I go from here? unRaid 4.7. I have purchased the Plus key but have not added it to the array yet. That was my next step. Thanks so much!
  4. It sounds like your going to install the apps on the unRAID box - correct? Apps running on unRAID can get to the SNAPed share like this: /mnt/disk/sharename where the sharename is whatever you have used for the SNAPed drive share. I have SAB/SB/CP working currently on a non-array drive. Currently I have been using the "Disk Management" utility in unMenu to manually mount, mount as writable, then share the drive. Someone pointed me towards SNAP so this will happen automatically upon restarts. I have SNAP installed and have added the drive WD-WCAZA5734311. I can use the snap.sh -b and the drive becomes available. However I still have to do this manually. How do I get this to happen upon a restart? I am currently using unRaid 4.7 Thanks! Add the command to your /boot/config/go file. what should that command look like? should that be placed right after //boot/unmenu/uu ? Thank you

  6. unRAID 5 is a moving target. Maybe unMenu changed, you may have to install unRAID manually. The two files are the install buttons I'm assuming. I've got to get a shipment out but I'll take a look later if I get a chance. I came to post that I'm having the same issue but I'm on 4.7. My unmenu didn't seem to be the newest version so I just now updated it and restarted it and I'm still seeing the same issue. I click the check for update button, the page refreshes, but nothing ever changes. There is nothing at the bottom of the page as expected. I have no problem installing it manually but I'm free for testing if you need. Nothing is output to the syslog when I click the check for update button but if you want one anyways then let me know. I too have the same issue with 4.7 Same problem here... running 5.0beta9 4.7 here... same. I have the Check for SNAP updates. get waiting for Tower... then nothing.
  7. I am having the same issue, but I am a total noob here. I am trying to follow http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=Configuration_Tutorial and can not install screen or mail. Thanks for your help! Hopefully by tomorrow I have a unRaid machine up and running 100%!!!!
  8. Hello all! I have been reading and reading and made the decision that unRaid is for me! I started off finding XBMC and based on recommendations there realize I should start this experience with a home media server. I want this machine to also run SABanzb and sickbeard, based on these forums that looks possible. I would like to start off simple, as I am a noob regarding lots of this. I am great at following directions (just don't ask my wife) and the support here looks amazing! Is this the best, and most current, way to install SAB & SB ? http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=Install_Python_based_servers I would like to start this machine without a cache drive, and rather use a non-array drive for these addons. Is this recommended? I can't seem to find a good walk through for adding a non-array drive to my machine... can anyone help me with direction for that? Here is the components I purchased for this machine, largely based on recommendation I read in these forums.
