Ok I upgraded with additional 8gb of ram and everything works fine now. I guess the CPU upgrade can wait until I need it. Thanks again everybody!
-
I believe my MB only supports ddr4. Also the already installed ram is ddr4 so I will have to go with that. I'll try another 8gb for now which should be around 60€, and than I'll see if the cpu is also a bottleneck. Cheers

I got the MSI Z270-A PRO Intel Z270 So.1151 Well Then I guess I have to go buy that overpriced ram. I was hoping to avoid this. At least ram will be cheaper than a new CPU. I will report back once I upgraded. Thanks for the help everyone!

Austria I'm a little out of my element here. I usually check the utilization over the dashboard page: That seems to be unreliable. This is what the htop showed. So I'm guessing the CPU is not at it's limit but the RAM? Thank you

The thing is I am idling at around 60-70% CPU usage with all dockers running. When I copy files over to the array, I max out to 100% and all Dockers become unresponsive/unreachable. I do only have 8gb of ram and unraid seems to just waste it but I never had that as a bottleneck. I also don't have any VMs running. I believe it's the CPU. The MB supports the i7 and even overclocking. Thanks guys I will be looking for a used i7 then.

Hello everyone, So I build a system about a year ago but since I added a lot of services, I keep running out of resources a lot of times. I currently have a kaby lake i3 and want to just swap that out for an i7. I was wondering what I need to do here in terms of unraid. Will I have to reinstall unRAID or can I just power down, switch the CPUs and than boot? Thanks

Well then it's working.

So I'm running the Binhex docker. Is the command the same?

I just didn't know how to fill out the template. It works now. Thank you again! -
[Support] Linuxserver.io - Nextcloud
Heciruam replied to linuxserver.io's topic in Docker Containers
I got one last question: Did you add that container path as "/data"? I'm worried that nextcloud will start writing to that share. -
[Support] Linuxserver.io - Nextcloud

So the share shows up within nextcloud. When I try to access it I get an error message: External mount error There was an error with message: Empty response from the server. Do you want to review mount point config in admin settings page? I'm guessing I need to create a path for that share(/external mount) in the nextcloud docker template right? Also do I enable "enable sharing" in the "advanced settings" to be able to share something via link for example? Thanks for your help. I appreciate it! -
[Support] Linuxserver.io - Nextcloud

Is it possible to "hardlink" a different share (not the share where the nextcloud files are) and make them show up from within Nextcloud? -
If you reach the webui the VPN is on, if you can't it's off. If you want to be sure, go to ipleak.net and check the "Torrent Adress detection" _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I have a different problem. Ever since I updated to Unraid 6.5.0 (I am on 6.5.3 now) the privoxy stopped working for me. So I tried to delete Docker as well as deleting the appdata out of the appdata share and reinstalling it but I can't get it to work. Does anybody have any ideas how can fix that? I also have rtorrentvpn running. It used to work there as well but it also doesn't anymore. So I'm not sure where I would find the problem?! cheers

Ah ok I did not know that. Thanks!

Hello, I need a little help with setting up the docker from github: https://hub.docker.com/r/joshuamorris3/namecheap-ddns-update/ I read the Docker FAQ but I still have trouble interpreting the usage guide on github to create the template. I already pulled the image from the apps tab.
-
Ah ok. Yes I found the checkbox. Thanks
-
I'm also wondering where I can delete a share? I can't find a button.

So followed Gridrunner's video and everything went fine until now. I'm just not sure why I'm getting this loop in the log: " nginx: [emerg] a duplicate default server for 0.0.0.0:443 in /config/nginx/site-confs/default.txt:7 " Can I go ahead with the tutorial or is something wrong? Thanks I got it running now. I just want to try it out every once in a while and see the development so I don't mind it being buggy.
-
Ah ok. Thanks I understand now. So it's installed. My next problem is, what information do I need to add to the template so I can specify ports and access the web ui. So I added a host port. I'm just not sure if thats how it's supposed to be done. And I also added these "keys" similar to other dockers but that made the docker vanish from the docker tab so I changed it back. I'm sorry if I am annoyingly stupid I just haven't added a docker before, that wasn't in the Community Applications. So from your earlier link I need it seems that I have to create an xml first. So I guess I need to find the info for that on github. Am I on right track?

I should be or the apps tab should be?

Well I enabled the dockerhub, then search for embystat in the appstab. When I try to pull the image I get an error: Pulling image: uping/embystat:latest IMAGE ID [latest]: Pulling from uping/embystat. IMAGE ID [407ada6e90de]: Pulling fs layer. Downloading 0 B. I would also be happy if this one could be added.
