It turned out that a bad drive connected to my SAS controller was preventing the USB drive from booting. I'm not sure why this was happening since the SAS controller shouldn't have been a bootable device. Thank you everyone for your help.

I pulled my unraid boot usb since it failed to boot after a power cycle. I'm looking at the disk_assignments.txt file and I noticed that all the drive assignments are old and the file was last written to over a year ago. Is that normal? I recently replaced the parity drive and it's not listed in this file!

I rebooted and my server is now saying to replace media and hit any button to restart. What is the process to recover the USB drive? I can build a new usb drive but which folders do I need to copy from the old to the new?

After installing I'm getting the following error. FATAL: Connection to Cacti database failed. Please ensure: the PHP MySQL module is installed and enabled. the database is running. the credentials in config.php are valid. Is there a config file I need to modify?

Is this the correct place to post these issues? I'm not sure how to proceed as it's a new install and preclear doesn't run.

New user here and Preclear will not run on my system. It just says starting next to the disks that I've clicked start on. What should I do next?
