  1. I think I found the issue @MystX In windows goto sounds and find the option to set the audio quality. It seems when a new sound device is detected it was set to CD Quality which was horrible. Upon setting this to DVD Quality my sound issues were gone and even though I used a cheap £2.50 USB Sound card it was perfect!
  2. Thanks @gridrunner Sorry didn't see there was a VM forum!
  3. I'll post this information later today. Doing some more testing today to see if I can pin the exact issue.
  4. Hi All, Just want to make sure I'm understanding the CPU/Hyper-thread core assignment and making the best use of my Dual E5 V4s here. As per attached screenshot I've got 4 Windows 10 virtual machines. Each has 3 cores assigned with their HT child's also assigned. All these cores are isolated in syslinux.cfg for the machines. I've emulator pinned 0,16 to vm1, 4,20 to vm2, 8,24 to vm3 and 12,28 to vm4. Any suggestions or is this as good as it gets?
  5. I have the same issue on my server setup right now Jon. All the suggested fixes have been tested inside out. I'm using HDMI Pass Thru for the sound card on the same GPU that is passed through to the VM. With this sound card enabled the VM is actually quite laggy but especially noticeable on HTML5 youtube videos where the buffering is very slow and audio very delayed. Removing the sound card and restarting the VM instantly fixes it. Happy to help debug this remotely if you need anything from me in terms of logs as I can re-create this again and again consistently. I've also tested different browsers, same issue
