Hey all. I just precleared a WD 10tb drive. The preclear was successful without error. however. i noticed this line in the preclear log: Sep 16 10:54:15 preclear_disk_18184: syslog: ata1: COMRESET failed (errno=-16) Do I need to worry about this? is this concerning for early drive failure? I did run an extended SMART test that was completed without error

Hey guys. I built an unraid server this past summer with 7 8 tb red drives. Needless to say I’ve outgrown this server already. I want to get a Supermicro 24 bay rackmount case with the 846tq backplane. I am currently using an asrock c236 wsi motherboard. Will I be able to transfer this motherboard to the Supermicro server case since it is mini itx? Also this mother board has 8 SATA slots and one Pcie 3.0 x16 slot. Can I put a SATA card with 16 slots for a total of 24 slots? If so can you recommend a card for me please? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey all. Im new to the forums. I'm planning on building an unraid server essentially just for plex. I will be using the asrock c236 wsi motherboard. The board supports both Xeon and home based processors. I'd like to be at a pass mark close to 10,000. I was debating whether I should use the new Xeon e3 Kaby lake processor, The e3 1245v6 with unregistered ecc ram or should I go with the i7 7700 with regular non ecc ram.
