System Intermittently Shutting Down After Upgrade to 7.0.1
I am hoping you all can help me determine why my system keeps shutting down after upgrading to version 7.0.1. I never had this issue before. It is definitely an unclean shutdown as parity check is initiated every time. Diagnostics attached. Thanks in advance! tower-diagnostics-20250522-1558.zip

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Plex Media Server
I recently starting having an issue where Plex does not startup correctly (see screenshot). It just gets to "Starting Plex Media Server. . . (you can ignore the libusb_init error)" in red and does not continue from there. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling from Previous Apps but I get the same behavior. Not sure where to start with troubleshooting. Before I blow this container away and start from scratch, I was hoping someone on here will be able to help. Thanks!

Unexplained High CPU Utilization
Thanks for the response. I guess I didn't realize how much I was doing at once. Can you tell me how I would go about listing current services and their cpu load, perhaps in the CLI? I suspect a docker container to be the main culprit... and I intend on limiting the container to using a specific number of cores that way it does not saturate my CPU.

Windows 11 VM Won't Boot - Other VMs Are Fine
I have a Windows 11 VM that I have used for a few months with little to no problems. Without introducing any significant changes to the environment, it suddenly will not start up, it doesn't even get to Windows. VNC is just a black screen with a white looping circle. RAID restart does not resolve the issue. I am not doing anything fancy with this VM, no hardware passthrough etc. Other VMs are working fine. I am not sure where to go from here, can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks! [Support] atunnecliffe - Splunk
Figured this out myself. My reports were saved with permissions as user and user data is not persisted. I had to add the following to a path variable to persist its data: /opt/splunk/etc/users As for saving the admin password, license, and free license configuration, I had to add the following paths: /opt/splunk/etc/licenses /opt/splunk/etc/system Now when I recreate the container I do not have to reset the password or reapply the free license.
-
[Support] atunnecliffe - Splunk
When I modify the container and it gets rebuilt, I lose all of the reports and dashboards I have created. The password also gets reset to default and I have to reconfigure the trial license. Is there any way to retain all of these things on rebuild so I don't have to keep reconfiguring and storing copies of my report/dashboard SPL elsewhere? EDIT: To clarify - my indexes, datasets, and installed apps are all preserved. So some of my configurations are persistent, just not (most importantly) reports and dashboards. Perhaps my docker configuration is wrong, but it seems pretty straight forward...

Unmountable: Unsupported Partition Layout on 6.11.5
So I have to actually rebuild the 10tb of data on this disk? What is actually causing this? If the partition/data were truly corrupt, it shouldn't be functional when I downgrade. I just want to avoid having to deal with this ever again...
