  1. I started experiencing a strange issue today, i had a script i needed to update in my /config share and i saved it forcing the app to restart. Now i can only access nzbget from my reverse proxy and can't through the IP address of my unraid machine to the same port. I didn't see anything of substance in the logs, any ideas where i can start looking for a root cause?
  2. Do you have to relink it every time you restart the array? If not, would you be kind enough to post your config... I can't say that i've noticed the issue as i only restart the array when installing new unraid versions. I haven't used my dropbox since moving to 6.1.7, so i'll do some testing tonight and see what happens.
  3. I have one of these in my unraid case two hold my cache pool drives, but i'm not impressed with it. It sags due to the weight of two SSDs and plugging power cords into each drive is not easy. I have one of these in my desktop to combine a 3.5" HDD and an SSD into one 5.25" slot, its a bit pricey, but works very well for what i needed. Hacked apart my fractal R2 that doesn't have all the nice removable front bays like the newer revisions.
  4. I did find this shelf which should hold more than enough. I picked up a Norco 4224 to replace my 15 drive MidTower build eventually, so one shelf should do the trick.
  5. Good luck with the sale, that's actually a pic of my Helios Case! It's a little more worse for the wear now, but it's still running great.
  6. For upgrading/replacing a cache you can see this post from the other day - http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=45024 From what i've read on other posts, when the second cache device is added a balance will be initiated on array start. Alternatively you can start a balance from the WebUI. When i created my cache pool i started with two empty SSDs as my old cache was an old spare HDD. I copied all the data from the spare HDD to the array so that i had a backup. I created the pool, manually initiated a balance from the webgui, and copied the cache drive contents back over to the pool without any issues.
  7. I believe it does have rear rack rails, here is a picture of the rear of the rack. Also, the rack came with thesewhich i believe are similar to the lacing bars that you recommended. Good point on the pfsense box, i'm not sure yet when i might purchase one, but I will keep ITX builds in mind. I will pickup on of the Raxxess shelves for my networking components. Any recommendations on heavier duty shelf to hold two towers and my UPS prior to getting the rack-mounted UPS? The rack is already on wheels, so i'm good to go with that.
  8. What Squid suggested will work. In the past i've just used Midnight Commander to copy the files to the array (after stopping all plugins/dockers/VMs) and then replaced the cache drive and copied the files back. I'd go with his suggestion as depending on the amount of data on your cache, copying to the array may take longer than desired.
  9. I was lucky enough to score the below rack (APC AR3100) for the low low price of free, merry christmas to me My current plans are: Install Rackmount UPS (Donation from a friend). Don't have any details on it yet. Install new patch panels and network switch Add shelf for router and MOCA Bridge Add shelf for two existing tower based UNRAID servers Add keyboard/monitor kvm solution for machines Build a 4U unraid server to replace existing production tower server 1U pfsense applicance (maybe) My knowledge on server rack hardware is limited, so i do have a couple of questions for the community. I have a friend that does server infrastructure for a living so i'm not worried about the patch panels and network switch at this point. [*]Any recommendations for rack shelves? I'm looking for one shelf to hold one mid tower that has 3 Norco SS-500s in it and another tower server that only has 2 drives in it for testing purposes. The other shelf will hold my smaller components (router and bridge), so weight isn't an issue [*]For the keyboard/monitor/kvm piece, i'm undecided on an all in one solution off ebay or getting something like this and adding a keyboard drawer. Any preferences or recommendations? [*]Anything i missed or any other type of item i should consider adding to the rack?
  10. I am having an issue with scheduled tasks not happening at local time. I need to enter scheduled times at GMT. I bet I'll have to go and edit them once we switch to daylight savings time too. Not a big deal, but I didn't have that problem with needo's docker back when I used that. If this is an acknowledged/known issue, please consider listing it in the top post as a known defect. And if you fix this, please make an announcement or update the top post. Thanks! I asked the same question in the previous support thread. There is a setting under the logging section called "TimeCorrection" which will fix the issues with scheduled task timing. Of course, this will need to be modified for daylight savings as well. This workaround was not needed in previous versions of the container and i've been hoping for a fix, but haven't heard anything.
  11. It sounds like you've created two entirely seperate plex accounts and not truly setup a "plex home" which consists of one plexpass account with other managed users. All devices authenticate with your plexpass account but the managed users are at another level beneath that. Most of the plex apps allow for a default user to be selected on each device and you can pin-protect your adult only content. I've implemented a scheme similar to the plex documentation and it works well for me - https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/204234313-Example-Plex-Home-Setup.
  12. I've been having issues this week where sonarr will not automatically grab new files. I didn't notice this until i did the last docker update. Any chance something broke? Is anyone else experiencing an issue? Queuing an automatic search within the app is working fine.
  13. Just wanted to say, thanks for posting this build. I am looking to build something similar within the next year with the exact same use cases as you. I'll be watching this thread to see how your build progresses. I've been trying to find more info on the PCI-E configurations, but i've had no luck. I'm assuming you'd want to run the video card in the x16 slot and 1-2 SATA controlelrs in the x8 slots? However i couldn't find any definitive info that stated whether the x16 slot would only run at x8 if the other 2 x8 slots are populated. 1x PCI-E 3.0 x4 (in x8) slot 1x PCI-E 3.0 x8 (in x16) slot 2x PCI-E 3.0 x8 slots 1x PCI-E 2.0 x2 (in x4) slot 1x PCI-E 2.0 x4 (in x8) slot
  14. As shown in nterwebtech's first screen shot you will need to create a docker mapping to your plexwatch config. Then when you choose to import your DB in the settings you can reference it's location via the docker mapping.
  15. Just restart the docker and it will update to the latest version
  16. I am continuing to have issues with the time-zone of the scheduler. I have my downloads set to resume at 1:00AM in the application and the downloader resume occurred 20 minutes ago at 9:00 EST.
  17. I had no issues following this document when i moved from Phaze's v5 plugin to needo's plex container. https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201370363-Move-an-Install-to-Another-System
  18. Once you are connected to the VPN it acts just like you are on your network at home. You can access the server via IP address (never looked into getting DNS to resolve).
  19. I created a volume mapping for it as /transcode -> /tmp Then in your plex server settings under transcoder (make sure you click show advanced) set the "Transcoder temporary directory" to your docker volume mapping. This will allow you to swap the Host path to anything you want (/tmp for RAM or anywhere else on your system)
  20. VPN is definitely the way to go. I'm using OpenVPN and NZB360 together without issue.
  21. Are your sonarr and sabnzbd user shares defined as cache only? If not, that could be one explanation for the loss in settings. The recommended approach is to make an appdata cache only share and have seperate config folders for each application (this is the default in most dockers). Otherwise, you'll have to define cache only users shares for each application.
