My boxee box will buffer every minute or so when I try to stream any file over 20gb typically. SMB works fine for tv shows and smaller sized 720p/1080p movies around the 10-15gb range.

All my media players run better with NFS and they are all Linux based to begin with. NFS is logical. same goes for me

This is a known issue with simpleFeatures. The creator has plans to re-work the email feature.

They look a good bit different at least on the rear. I also got my coolink fans in as well, so we'll see if they still work as well.

They've been OOS since sometime in November. Originally when i contacted NewEgg, they were no longer going to carry them. I ordered 2 directly from Norco on 12/28, and they just shipped yesterday.

Awesome! Can you update this when you get them and note any differences there may be please? I need to get one more to fill my Antec 900 and hoping they are the same as the old ones (atleast visually). Will do, they'll be here Tuesday.

Couchpotato can also create the nfo, but the options aren't very robust (won't pull down a poster art either). For now, i manually run ember on my desktop pc around once a week to update movies that are out there. Sickbeard on the other hand offers perfect nfo and tbn file generation for use on the boxee.

I just let couchpotato handle it. movies/The.Blind.Side.(2010)/The.Blind.Side.(2010).mkv I then run ember media manager to populate the nfo and tbn files that my boxee requires for proper identification.

Agreed, however i'm not in a rush. I'll wait until 2/1 and contact them again, if they give me another date i will just cancel and buy some supermicros.

I am currently only running 5 drives on my machine at the moment. Whenever I can get my new Norco SS-500s i'll be increasing up to 7 drives, with my new Supermicro-AOC-SASLP-MV8 card.

Got an email back from Norco. The SS-500s are out of stock with an expected ETA of 1/25.

I ended up trying to order two from IPCDirect on 12/30. I've yet to get any shipping confirmation or an updated order status. I am going to give them a call in the morning.

I was hoping to find these back in stock on NewEgg soon to use some christmas gift cards. My biggest concern is not being able to find them eventually, my server having different brand 5x3s would kick my OCD into high gear .

I actually purchased one on Sunday because one of my drives failed. When I saw this price, i started up on an online chat in hopes they could credit me the difference. All they could do was issue me a gift card for the difference, which is fine by me. -
I've been using the Asrock 880GM-LE since June without any issues.

I'm assuming you had the usb drive sticking out the front or back of the case. You may want to look at something like this to mount the drive internally.
