Sorry if this has been asked before, I tried to find an answer and haven't found anything. I am using a supermico 36bay box to run unraid. Is there a reason why, using unraid pro, I am limited to 30 drives (split between data and parity)? In the main tab, it appears that the maximum number of slots is 30. I would like to use the following: • 2 (3 if possible) parity drives • 3 cache drives • 30 data drives (31 if 2 parity is the max) I thought unraid pro allowed for unlimited number of drives..... is there actually a limit to what unlimited is defined as? If 30 is the max, is there other ways to use the additional drives? Thanks in advance.
