  1. Hello, is there any app/ plugin that does this syncing, at pre-defined times?
  2. Hi, I enabled Perl, so it was downloaded, but never installed. No matter how I disable it, Perl doesn't get deleted, hence, I cannot "enable" it again, download, and install. What to do?
  3. Hahaha, yeah, autocorrect :-) Thanks for the tip! Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  4. I have a Hec Raptor 500, top mounted. Underneath the psi is a big fan. I think that should draw heat away from the cup nearby.
  5. Thanks Jonathanm for the reply. Am happy you answered that instead of the other way around. Yup, prefer it to be fanless, to be as reliable as possible, and as silent as possible. I'll try to manage the wires so it is free of obstruction the best I can.
  6. Hello, I've recently come across Supermicro X9SCM-F motherboard, with passive heatsink installed on it. It's from a 1U server, and I'd like to use this board and move it to my regular Mini Tower chassis. The reason I like to use this board is mainly because of it's passive heatsink. In the existing 1U chassis, it has a blower that is directed towards it so that it keeps cool. I don't want to use any fan whenever possible. Will this heatsink be able to support the processor that it comes with originally on the motherboard? Core i3-2120. The heatsink in question comes together with the motherboard, SNK-P0046P heatsink with BKT- 0028L bottom bracket http://store.supermicro.com/heatsink/1u-passive-cpu-cooler-snk-p0046p.html
  7. Hello Squid, I used your app Fix Common Problems, and it showed me my docker app is full. I fixed it with your app! GREAT! Thanks
  8. But it is still not present. I've tried disabling/ enabling Docker in settings, but still not there. How do I fix this?
  9. In my scenario, I want regular desktop experience, play youtube, scroll without lag. That's all I need. In my test with regular VM using rdp on Windows 10, performance is great from Raspberry pi. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  10. I wasn't able to get wtware to work though. I like it because it's free. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  11. Will check out spice. Is it supposed to be a counterpart for HDX/RemoteFX? But just to share with all here, using a xeon server in the office, and provisioning VMs to users (regular way, not VDI), using raspberry pi 3 as thin client, I got a very good user experience. I'd say very close to desktop like performance when not gaming. Youtube videos looks good, scrolling looks perfect. This is with win 10 desktop. Before I upgraded to win 10, WIn 7 performance was lousy. I've like to stress the server isn't using any discreet graphics card. It's not even configured for remoteFX. Just plain old partitioning of the server and allocating resources for a vm to be created for win 7 or win 10. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  12. Just thought with Raspberry pi 3 out, maybe we can revive this topic. Check out the link below. This proves the user experience will greatly improve soon. I don't know how to do it thought with kvm, not citrix. Anybody care to comment?
  13. Hi, the title caught my eye. If you follow the link https://www.citrix.com/blogs/2015/12/10/citrix-raspberry-pi2-thinlinx-high-res-graphics-client-for-50/ you'll see Citrix was able to use a Rpi as a client, and give one of the best user experience at the moment. With Raspberry Pi 3, this should even be more achievable. My question is, any hypervisor, apart from Citrix, VMware, able to do this? KVM capable of doing this? Citrix is using a technology called HDX, H.264 streaming or something for the video. I don't mind paying for Raspberry Pi, and the ThinLinx OS (10) to connect to KVM, if this is possible. Your thoughts? P.S. Watch the video.
  14. I've been using unraid 6.1.9 for months already, and I'm very happy with it. Recently, I've noticed my couchpotato docker app is not accessible. I've tried restarting it, to no avail. I've reinstalled it, after configuring it, it became inaccessible once again. I then turned off a few docker apps, and access to the interface became available once again. I created a VM of windows yesterday, with 1 GB of RAM, and 2 core processor. I've finished installing, and got VM to run. All those times, my array is still up and running. Last night, while streaming from kodi, the show will suddenly stop mid of the show. Upon checking, the Media is no longer available. Accessing smb share via Windows file explorer is unreachable. I tried continued pinging the IP, it still works. Unraid UI is not accessible during these times as well. After a few minutes, 5 to 10, you can start playback of the same media file once again. It will again stop after 5 to 10 minutes of playback, and again, the share will not be accessible. I suspected this has something to do with my creation of VM. So eventhough the cpu usage isn't high, less then 60%, and memory usage is probably 50 to 70%, I decided to delete the VM I newly created. But the problem persists. I then proceeded with rebooting the machine. The whole thing happens all over again. Access to media share is on and off, every 5 to 10 minutes. I cannot access Unraid UI, sometimes, it allows me, oftentimes, it doesn't. BTW, ssh doesn't work either. What do I do to fix this?
  15. It used to work before, and now, I don't know why, it doesn't work from my laptop. OS X el capitan. It works on iPad.
  16. Hello sudogreg, If I reset AP and want to connect it to this docker unifi controller, I assume, since it's not detected, it won't get any IP. So what IP address shall I ssh into? I have a firewall with dcp server enabled. Does this mean this device will automatically get an IP address even when controller cannot reach it?
  17. Yup, I got it working with my windows based controller. Is there a way to do a set-inform in Gui, then reset (I read this is needed) , and still be recognized by the docker unifi controller app?
  18. Hi. This instruction is clearer. But I have a question. How do you find out the AP's IP address to ssh into?
  19. Hi. Are there special instructions to get the Unifi controller to work? It cannot find my AP. A windows based controller finds it immediately. A little background- My Unraid box is behind a Sophos firewall. But desktops (hosting the windows based controller) can ping the unraid box, and access it without problems. I didn't put in any rules for internet network. I receive this message: No Devices have been discovered. Any ideas?
  20. On a mac, I can write to it. On windows 10, I cannot even connect.
  21. Hi all, do you know if I can access this via Microsoft RDP? Or Turbo VNC? Neither works for me. I'm using port 7070 and 7071. I tried both, says connection established, but will eventually say connection lost.
  22. I installed Koma here- /mnt/cache/.koma_portable_data when I execute "docker exec Koma createuser kodi kodi " in /mnt/cache, it gives me an error "Error response from daemon: no such id: Koma" Can anyone help?
  23. hello trurl, Thanks for the warning. Yes, I'd like to see them. I found it under global shares. Thanks.
