Other then Rclone which I think is the worst app in the universe to install and make work.. are there any other options to encrypt and store data into remote storage like Google drive , Drop box and so on. Or does any one have an actual working guide on installing Rclone. I have followed all the guides out there and they are all for older version and none work with the new versions out. I am so frustrated with unraid I am ready to just go back to a windows server

Is there any other option other than Rclone to let plex work with Gsuite Google stream? I can't find anything that works with unraid except rclone and I can not get that to work :/

I have been running Ryzan for a while now and it seems that any verison of unraid above 6.5.3 i have nothing but hangs, freezes, crashes but 6.5.3 has been solid. Aside from the template changing making it look terrible is there actual Ryzen benefits from using a new updates?

Is it possible to make a copy of a VM that I have and run it as a second VM?, I have this VM set up and is working flawless and would like to make a copy of it and run a second VM for other tasks. is this possible?

Can anyone recommend a docker or plugin For file sharing. I have been using FTP but it has been a nightmare with unraid. Is there any File sharing/management system I can use with unraid aside from the CLOUD systems or FTP. the Cloud systems are a pain because I have to Upload all my data to it essentially taking up storage space unnecessarily. What I am looking for is to give a user a name/password. They go to a URL I have already that I can point to my server and will prompt them to sign in and give access to specified folders. I have been searching for this for some time and have come up empty handed. Any direction would be greatly appreciated

I have had nothing but problems using any version above the one I am using. Everytime I upgrade I get more random crashes, and down time. This is the only version that has been semi stable aside from these random crashes. I am going to perform the ryzen tweaks. Thank you for the fast response

So my server randomly crashes. I went as far as getting a new board, cpu and ram. I thought it was solved but today it happened again.. since i can not read these logs. can some one translate.. maybe a thermal issue, or something Please help. this is sooo annoying. tower-diagnostics-20181231-2340.zip

I am trying to delete a folder off of my server. I logged into my VM and every time I try to delete the folder it stays and puts this file in it. I can remove the file and try to delete and it just keeps putting it back.. any idea why?

I also agree. not being able to modify the stupid white is quite annoying.

I have just had something damn near Identical happen to me. I had to wipe and start fresh with new OS

the only machine I am putting on the network is this laptop which I just checked and is clean, and the server but since I am using a new USB becasue I think the original is compromised.. How do I find my License Key....

now, now matter how many times I rewrite unraid on a usb using the creator and no matter how many different USBs I use, The machine will not boot from USB, just keeps saying not a bootable drive.. AHHHHHH

I just came home to my server not working, When I plug in the monitor there was all kinds of errors on the screen, I had to force reboot the machine and now it says something about syslinux config file not found and when I pulled the USB and looked at the files, This is what the file structure looks like

I see where it is enabled in unraid. maybe I will turn it off and give it a try.

when you say turn it off, would that be in unraid or something I need to locate in the mac OS?
