[Support] binhex - qBittorrentVPN
I've been using rTorrent VPN for the last few years and am happy with it. Unfortunately Binhex is no longer supporting that so I'm thinking I should migrate over here before it breaks and I'm left scrambling I have a couple of questions about migrating over I am using the rTorrentVPN without a VPN. I don't remember the process to set that up without a VPN so would appreciate a refresher on that. Is it as simple as just turning VPN off. What about all of the VPN settings? When I clicked on the install tab it was telling me I had port conflicts. It looks like it is trying to use the same port as Krusader for the UI. I don't use Krusader very often so it's usually off. Could I just make sure only one of these is running at a time or best to just swap the ports When I look at the variables to be set I don't see a port for torrents. Is that because it is set to go through a VPN? If I'm not using a VPN do I need to specify a port, or port range for seeding and downloading? Final question - Is there any tool out there that can easily copy the torrents and where they point to from rTorrent over to qBittorrent or am I going to have to do it one by one? Sorry for some many questions, but I haven't installed any dockers for awhile and I think this is going to be a major undertaking so I want to get it right

Folder's Disappearing within a Shared Folder
I went through today and all of the folders I created in the shared directory named "Photos" seemed to disappear. After the restart yesterday they seem to be working properly. I went through the same process again today and all the folders are showing up in the mapped directory within windows and also locally in UnRaid. What's strange is I also put video files into a share directory named "Videos" and there was no disappearance there.

Folder's Disappearing within a Shared Folder
Here's the diagnostics. I should preface it by saying I did a reboot to see if that would get the folders to reappear. I should have downloaded the diagnostics before the reboot, but didn't think of it. The reboot didn't help unfortunately tower-diagnostics-20240508-1001.zip

Folder's Disappearing within a Shared Folder
Over the past 2 days or so I have been moving photos and videos off of my iPhone onto my server. At first I couldn't find a folder I was sure I had created, but thought I must have misremembered. Now today there are definitely a few folders that I created that I can no longer find. I have all of my shared folders as Mapped Network Drives on my Windows PC. I was downloading the photos from my iPhone onto a directory in my Pictures folder. I was then creating folders in the Mapped Network Drive named Photos on my Windows PC (Corresponding to a share on my Unraid server named Photos). I would then cut and paste the photos from my Pictures folder to the appropriate folder within the Mapped Network Folder. Now I'm noticing some, but not all, of the folders I created are no longer there. I thought maybe I accidentally moved them, but I've looked all over the PC and UnRaid and can't find them. I thought maybe they went to the cache, but I don't have cache linked with these folders Thankfully I haven't deleted any of the photos so I can go back and go through all the photos again to see which ones are missing. I'd like to figure out what went wrong here so it doesn't happen again. Where can I look to find out what happened to my disappearing folders

[Support] Djoss - CrashPlan PRO (aka CrashPlan for Small Business)
OK. Sounds like I'll just have to keep an eye on it and when it gets too big just delete it and let it rebuild it. I think I'm backing up 4TB so not huge. It seems it must be a bit glitchy if it continues to grow over time.

[Support] Djoss - CrashPlan PRO (aka CrashPlan for Small Business)
This time it is this file name: cphdf It is in appdata > crashplanpro > cache > 41 I can't remember if it was the same file name last time or not. Whatever file was bloated last time it got to about 450 GB in size. Now this file is at 17.5 GB in size. All the other files are in the KB or MB sizes.

[Support] Djoss - CrashPlan PRO (aka CrashPlan for Small Business)
I recently got to the point where Crashplan was filling up my cache drive by it's appdata folder getting progressively bigger over time. I first got an alert that my Cache Drive was 80% full about a month ago and didn't think anything of it. I hadn't been on UnRaid for awhile and then noticed some of my Docker Containers were becoming erratic. It took me a while, but I eventually realized my cache drive was completely full. I then found that my appdata folder was what was filling it up. I eventually tracked it down to the cache folder within Crashplan and then found once specific file was over 450 GB in size. I deleted that file and then updated Crashplan. I now notice that Appdata folder seems to be growing a bit every day. I now see there is one file that is about 15 GB in size. I'm not sure what the normal behaviour for this is? How do I go about trouble shooting this? What size should the appdata folder be and what is the biggest size I should see per file?

[Support] binhex - qBittorrentVPN
I’ve been using rTorrent but it is having issues now. I don’t use a VPN. Is this a good option for someone not wanting to use a VPN? I have about 2500 torrents seeding. Any advice on easy ways to move those over?

Can't access server remotely since update
Sorry it took me a while to circle back to this. I did the same as Trasher and it worked straight away after turning it back on again

Can't access server remotely since update
Just updated and now I can't access my server remotely. I wasn't using Connect previously but have just turned that on within UnRaid and it seems to be working OK. I can see the dashboard from a remote computer. However I can't access the Server through the myunraid.net link anymore. I checked that my port forwarding is set up correctly. However when I click the check button with in UnRaid I get the following error Sorry, an error occurred The error is: cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: self-signed certificate I'm not sure how to fix this as I haven't change anything on my end that I am aware of

MCE Error detected and wondering about mcelog
Hello This is the 2nd time I've had Fix Common Problems report an MCE Error. After the first one I downloaded the Nerdpack and I think I have mcelog installed, but it isn't exactly clear what's what in that plugin. I have attached the diagnostics. I looked through the log myself and I see the MCE error, but nothing after that that says what it is. I'm wondering if I have done something wrong with mcelog? Would appreciate some help tower-diagnostics-20220512-0959.zip

Issue connecting via remote access
The ip in the remote access is my WAN ip. It's a static IP. It's the right IP. I ran that command and the IP didn't change. Still doesn't want to connect. [Support] Linuxserver.io - Transmission
Yea it wouldn't connect. I tried many times in many different ways and just couldn't get it to connect The version I'm using is supposed to be a fork of this version. The support page for it is essentially dead so I thought I'd try here

Issue connecting via remote access
I tried to remote access through a computer at work and I got that message above. I just tried in another workplace and I got this message This site can’t be reached The webpage at https://xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.hash.myunraid.net:port/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED Also tried via Chrome on my iPhone and got ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Transmission
Mine is verifying every torrent over again. I assume it must have something to do with the resume files, but that is just a guess. Fortunately many of the torrents are small so go fairly quickly, but the last 200-300 take about 8 hours to finish It's quite annoying

Slow Parity Check with slow Disk?
That was the issue. Transmission had just restarted and was verifying a bunch of torrents so was doing constant reads from that disk. I did the speed test again after it was finished and all were normal. Thank You

Issue connecting via remote access
No the DNS propagation is pending is long gone It just won't connect with remote access. If I go onto the my servers page and click on Remote Access it spins for awhile then I get this message This site can’t be reached Check if there is a typo in xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.hash.myunraid.net. If spelling is correct, try running Windows Network Diagnostics. DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN Here is a picture showing that everything seems to be setup correctly. The port checks OK [removed image for privacy - ljm42] I've also attached a new diagnostics file tower-diagnostics-20220503-1236.zip
