Got this now. When i tried opening a folder which i changed from secure to private. Credentials seem to be the issue here but am not able to clear them. Actually i don't know to clear them. I do went to the credentials manager but i could see only the windows system connected in the network not the UNRAID in specific.

Have tried in different systems 4 computers including mine. All the computers are being denied from accessing the folder and not in any instance it has asked me provide the credential information.

Yeah man used easeus to recover the files. Still missing certain files though. But that did helped me a lot.

Can you explain the part of disconnecting all sessions? How to clear it windows? I don't see anything in the name of tower in credential manager. Not sure where to proceed from here.

I have set the folder as secure with a password protected user share. But in my tower i can access the public shares but the private and secure shares are showing the denial message i have added here. I feel the issue is something with the credentials in windows but i dont know to solve them. Some clear guidance ll help a lot.

I tired to purchase the product today when i was trying to sign in there i wasn't able to do it. Have attached the images for reference here. I entered the email ID and password credentials that i use for forum in lime tech and tried multiple times. It says they don't match/Wrong. Please help here folks. And am very sure that the email and password i have entered are clearly right as am raising this topic under same credentials. So something with the server or am missing something here?

I want to mount the new hard disk to acces the files from it and copy it to the new place inside nas. One thing i did was previously this hard disc was on another system i ran unraid in trial mode and tried to access the files inside it. Then i backed out because the unraid wanted me to format the drive if i want to run the array. But the hard disc turned into RAW file format when i tried to acces the files inside the hard drive. So i thought i can now add to a live unraid system and proceed with unassigned and krusader plugin to access the files. But that seems like a dead end here The mount button in the main for unassigned isn't available. Someone ? any idea what i sud do here?

ha ha ha.. OMG sorry for being dumb. Thanks a lot mate. And need an additional info, I am running unraid for a local server for my small photography office. I want to limit access capabilities for the workers except the admins. Like only the admin be able to delete the files where as the workers can add data but not delete/modify it. can it be done ? Using some application for my needs, Am a baby to the unraid world. some help would mean a lot. TIA

I am not able to see the community apps after installing the plugin. I can find all the apps but the install button is not there. Removed and installed community application once more but the problem remains.

Being a new guy to linux and unraid environment. It took me a while to catch up with the new world here with VMs and Dockers not a geek but i love the concept of unraid and I curiously started to read about it for the past two weeks. So finally concluded to settle in that to set unraid as NAS for my small size photography office. I have certain needs but being the new guy i can't figure out what i need. So i need only the admin(s) being able to remove files from the NAS unit and other workers should only be able to read the data/copy or paste. But not to modify the existing data on the disk. My second need is that there another unit of people working at a different location like 30 km from my current location. At times they need to have access of the files i have ( all these days we had been transferring data using we transfer only) So i need a docker app or apps that can solve my needs. Hope i have mentioned clearly of what i need. Expecting your help here.

Are there any VM compatible graphic card reference list? I just wanna know if the GT series is supported?

Am planning to do a new build for photo editing Focused and the machine will be running 10 hours a day minimum. Planning to go with 8600k/(8700k - the later part of my doubt) So splitting the overall cores as 3+3 i.e VM+VM Do need 2 separate graphic cards so my doubt here is that do i need a good mid range gpu like 1050 ti or some low eng gpu is fine? Like GT 730? The computer will run photoshop and lightroom cc, latest version of both. So splitting the over all 6 cores as 3+3 without anything for Unraid is fine? And the later part is that having 8700k instead of 8600k will actually the extra hyper threads do benefit me? Is it worth the extra spend on the 8700k? And 3. Do i have to keep a graphic card for unraid?

Some improvement over the previous issue. I have created a username and password inside the tower with the one same as My microsoft account. Then i tried to login to windows through that and it didn't work either. I don't know what password to type in here. ? Some guidance please.

I think you are Right. It says IOMMU disabled So its a no ? I can't run VM here ?

The motherboard DH55TC and processor does have virtualization and Vt-d options and its been enabled too. So are you saying that pass through doesn't work as if how am i supposed to connect a monitor or its not gonna work out Anyway? No use of VM in the machine?
