  1. It's hard to release it in the USA and around the world at the same time. Someone is always sleeping. Also @limetech getting us the latest kernel the same day it was released. Hard to give the plugin devs the heads up when the linux kernel wasn't even released before they went to bed
  2. @ich777 will update them when he awakes. He is on the other side of the world
  3. New nvidia driver out: https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=NVIDIA-465-Linux-Beta
  4. @ich777 is probably sleeping. They always release the new builds while he's snoozing. He's on the other side of the world
  5. Next point release can you update docker to 20.10.5 It patches 3 CVE's including these 2 ugly ones: https://github.com/moby/moby/security/advisories/GHSA-6fj5-m822-rqx8 https://github.com/moby/moby/security/advisories/GHSA-7452-xqpj-6rpc

  8. As always. You guys are fast on keeping us on the latest and greatest. Just surprised you didn't wait until the 1 year announcement of 6.9 beta to give us the final version
  9. New graphics card support and oh yea CVE's patched All the fixes and update to the drivers are currently in the 460 branch. 455 is done. https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=NVIDIA-2021-Driver-CVEs
  10. @limetech Could we have the latest nvidia drivers too? https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/170804/en-us 460.56 Also OpenSSL is at OpenSSL 1.1.1j again with CVE fixes.
  11. OpenSSL 1.1.1i has been released to fix security bugs FYI
  12. Awesome work for 6.9! I assume 6.9 is now RC that QEMU 5.2 will be a point release thing after stable? https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=QEMU-5.2-Released
  13. @limetech Before final can you include latest Linux Kernel firmware's? https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/log/ Support for Latest 6800 series is there now and updated Intel video and AMD Security updates. Thank you!
  14. How often after Nvidia releases drivers will we be able to update to them? https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/166883/en-us Came out Nov 17th with Kernel 5.9 support.
  15. https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/166883/en-us Kernel 5.9 support
  16. 455 branch isn't beta branch 455 branch is shortlived branch The current driver we have gotten 455.38 is shortlived branch also. The beta driver for Linux is VULKAN driver branch: https://developer.nvidia.com/vulkan-driver
  17. Nvidia driver 455.45.01 just released. https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/166883/en-us unsure if this one works on Kernel 5.9
  18. they work Sundays I assume they will release it next week. Excellent Early X-mas present to all us users for these drivers and new plugin system. Thank's again.
  19. nvidia still doesn't support 5.9 kernel. I think you give them too much credit
  20. @ich777 are you planning a Mellanox Third Party Module for newer Unraid builds? Since it appears that's the new way going forward, with the module loading?
  21. Considering COVID and the latest Linux Kernel 5.10 NOT 5.9 being LTS. I COULD see @limetech waiting until Jan 2021 with 5.10 LTS kernel and FINAL build then. Releasing a FINAL build of ANY product so close to NA holidays is always a PIA for support. It also gives Nvidia time to be dragged to fix support for 5.9/5.10 soonish. Since next version after 6.9 will have an option for built in video drivers (I am just guessing)
  22. Renowned kernel maintainer Greg Kroah-Hartman revealed in August 2019 that the next LTS kernel would be the “last released” kernel of the year. So 5.10 will be next LTS
  23. I had my own dashboard for monitoring. Just suggested it for people who don't want to make their own
  24. https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/165689/en-us New driver again 455.28
