  1. Hey. I’m planning on using a tower for a unRAID server build and I am thinking I will go with the following equipment: * CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-Thread * GPU: NVIDIA Quadro P2000 * RAM: 4x16 GB DDR4-3200 * Cache Drive: Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD 1TB M.2 * Plex Media Data: Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD 1TB M.2 * Media Data and Transcoding Directory: Storage: 12 TB Western Digital Red, as many as I can fit in the case. What motherboard would you guys recomend for my set up? What cables and/or other accessories/equipment would I need to finish my build? When I have everything I need, I am taking my equipment to a PC builder to have it professionally assembled.
  2. A few hours ago I tried to install High Sierra on a unRAID VM following SpaceInvaders tutorial video. However, when I came to the step at 10:00 the VM reboots and kicks me back to clover instead of loading the recovery tool. This happens each time and the process loops. Has anyone else experienced this or know how to solve it? I've tried to press Command-R when it reboots to open Recovery Mode, but without luck. It's not reacting to a keyboard either through VNC or plugged into the machine. Keyboard only works in clover.
  3. No. I'd like to access to VM without having to run HDMI cables from my server to my screen. I'm fine with cables if there is an ethernet solution.
  4. Hello unRAIDers, Ideally, I'd like to have my unRAID Server located in a separate room with my other network equipment, but having the option to access my VMs from a display in my office room. Is there any way to do this without running HDMI cables from my server to my office or without having a separate machine where I've to install VNC software?
  5. Under "Container Path" I added "/transcode" and under "Host Path", I added: "/tmp". Was that the right way to do it?
  6. Thank you, I'll check it out. Is it in the community application?
  7. After having seen unRAID in action on several YouTube channels for a while, I figured out I'd give it a try. I'll be getting my server in a couple of weeks, but there is one thing I have left to figure out. Is their a docker container you can install to run the Ubiquiti UniFi Controller of your unRAID server? I know that FreeNAS has one. Would be great having to avoid setting up a VM just to run the software. As I am new to unRAID and a new member of the forum, please let me know if the topic was posted in the wrong section.
