  1. Hi, I am planning to migrate the data of my existing server to a HP Microserver Gen8. The existing server has got 3TB Parity, 4 x 3TB, 2 x 750 GB and 240 GB SSD as cache drive. The Microserver has only got space for 4 x 3.5" drives and 1 x 2.5 (Cache). My idea was to purchase 2 x 6GB drives, 1 for Parity, 1 for data and add 2 x 3 TB drives from the old server. This way I will loose 1.5 TB but that is accounted for. How do I do that best? By the look of things I will have to store the data temporarily outside of the servers. How do I migrate the license key or do I built a new USB stick and transfer the lisence key to the new server? Sorry if these questions have already be answered but I couldn't find any details with regards to "downsizing" as server, only the other way around...... Thanks in advance! Antonius
  2. Hi dlandon: First of all thank you for all your hard work on this project; highly appreciated! I am brand new to LMS as I am looking to substitute daapd on my Unraid server. For now I am running a Roon docker and it really works perfectly to stream to my existing 3 airport express. Is this LMS docker able to stream from the unraid server to the airport express? Or do I have to add a plugin to make that happen? How do I go to do that? I found this about an airplay plugin: https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?105198-ANNOUNCE-AirPlay-Bridge-integrate-AirPlay-devices-with-LMS-(squeeze2raop) but I am clueless how to get this installed into the LMS docker.....? Sorry, if that's a stupid question but I am still trying to work my head around this one. Thanks!!
  3. Hi, I am new to all this UNRAID and forked-daapd stuff. My mac mini which was running as itunes and plex server for the last 6 years decided to give up and I decided to go the UNRAID way for half the money. Now I have set up everything nicely, plex running, sonarr, deluge, radarr, etc but only daapd gives me trouble exactly same as seanwalter said; as soon as I connect via remote app daapd just goes into a restart loop. It only happens when connecting via remote app. It happens independently from the remote device (iphone 8, iphone 8+, ipad mini 4). It is not the docker itself, no logs reflect any fault. I am a bit puzzled but would like to know if anybody found a solution to that? Thanks! After further investigation it seems like the issue with restarting of daapd is solely related to remote and remote app. I can see and control the server from my iMac without problems; streaming to the different airport express works fine. As soon as I access the iTunes server from the iPhone or iPad using remote app daapd goes into some kind of random restart loop. Any suggestions?
