  1. I recently updated my network from a /24 subnet mask to a /23. I just needed/wanted more address options. I went to log into a SMB share on my windows computer and noticed that my unraid server wasn't showing up in my windows "Network", but I could type the address in and it was accessible. In my UnRaid Network Settings it shows the route still being 10.10.50.0/24. I've deleted it and added /23 but when I reboot it goes back to /24. I cant find an option to manually input the subnet mask...How do I update it to the rest of the network with a /23?
  2. Well, I'm too embarrassed to even post pictures, but I pulled the server out of my rack and opened it up and there was a layer of top soil on everything. I don't remember the last time I blew it out, but it apparently wasn't recent. After a thorough cleaning, we'll see if the problem persists.
  3. Wow, thanks! Think it's actually measuring airflow or its just getting hot? I know some of these Chelsio cards had fans on them. I wonder if it quit working.
  4. Not sure if I did this correctly... It actually took a while for it to fail this time. From the terminal I was to type in diagnostics and it gave me a Zip file that was created. I downloaded the file, but I don't think it was the same one created prior to the reboot. I've attached the file. Not sure what I'm looking for. thecloud-diagnostics-20250823-1228.zip
  5. I'm not sure what I did or what I changed, but something is messed up. As the titles says, my access to the GUI and my SMB shares goes dead after a few minutes. I reboot and it comes back...for a few minutes. I was able to look at the logs and here's what I found of note... Google says the red error "indicates a missing or improperly installed firmware file required by the cxgb4 driver, which likely corresponds to a Chelsio network adapter using the AQ1202 PHY." Here's what I have for Chelsio Network Drivers... Could a driver update fix the issue? If so, how does one update the driver? Maybe it's something else? I've downgraded to 7.1.3 then upgraded back up to 7.1.4 and it did the same thing. Any ideas on how to fix this?
  6. Thanks again. I appreciate the help.
  7. Okay, I changed all the shares I created to Cache->Array and the mover started moving. That fixed my initial problem. Just for clarification, you said " appdata, domains, system shares to stay on cache." but unnless you're looking at something I'm not, I see appdata and domains are on Array and system is Cache <- Array. Just to confirm, I should change all these to Primary: Cache and Secondary: None? I've had this set up (I assume incorrectly) for probably 6 or 7 years. This must have come to light in the 7.0 upgrade?
  8. I'm basically using the shares that go straight to the array as backup. I don't really plan on accessing on the regular. But reading the link you attached, should I have everything go Cache->Array?
  9. Thanks for the replies. I'm not sure I know the answer to the first question. Here's my Shares tab. I've basically ripped some movies and then saved them to my Media share. But looking at the Storage column, it appears that it goes right to the array. Even though my cache drive was filled with every transfer. @itimpi I'm not following. "no Primary Storage configured for shares that have files on the ‘cache’ pool" makes since I think since I've moved files over to my Media share. But if that was the case, why is the Cache filling up? "Check the settings, and if necessary make a dummy change and then hit Apply to cause the configuration file to be recreated and then post new diagnostics." Apologies, I'm just not understanding.
  10. I have a 500Gb M.2 drive as my cache drive and it's full. I had it scheduled to move daily and it appeared to not have moved. I changed it to move hourly on the hour. That setting appeared to have saved, but still it's not moving. I've tried clicking the Move button at the bottom of the Settings page to immediately invoke the Mover, but nothing happens. When I go to Mover Settings and try the Move Now nothing happens. I've checked the logs and it says the mover has started and immediately finished. I have 29TB of free space on my array. I'm running UnRaid 7.0.1. I'm not using any mover tuning plugins. I upgraded to 7.0 several months ago and I know it's worked since then. I can't think of any changes or updates I've made that would have affected it. Any idea what's going on? thecloud-diagnostics-20250331-0309.zip.crdownload
