  1. Hello, Is there a way to mount a two disk (no redundancy) BTRFS cache pool outside of Unraid, or at least without starting the array? My SATA controller card died, so I can't start the array until I get a replacement (missing disks). I'd like to access the docker data on the cache pool so I can recreate a few of them on another machine while I wait for a replacement card. I'm finding my bitwarden docker particularly hard to live without. Thanks
  2. Similar issues. I've been using this container for a while. Docker page says ..... so I tried that. Seems better. Time will tell though. Maybe give it a shot? https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/nextcloud

    noVNC errors

    Clearing the cache worked. Thanks.
  4. I'm seeing this also. Worked on 6.7. Other VNC Clients can still connect to the VM.
  5. Do you mind sharing the settings you used? I tried using the gfjardim settings, but it doesn't seem to work. The unraid GUI shows it started, but I can't get to the WEBUI and the log is blank.
  6. Thanks for the response Johnnie. How about question #2? Is the data OK? I have a backup of the important stuff, but eventually it will get overwritten with a new backup.
  7. Hi folks, My Toshiba 4TB drive started showing a few errors in the dashboard after about two years. First 8, then two hundred and some. It seemed to stabilize there, but of course that didn't inspire confidence. I replaced the drive, and after a successful rebuild, precleared the Toshiba. The following SMART report is from after the preclear. Is the drive toast? Has my data been corrupted? Thanks smartctl 6.6 2017-11-05 r4594 [x86_64-linux-4.14.26-unRAID] (local build) Copyright (C) 2002-17, Bruce Allen, Christian Franke, www.smartmontools.org === START OF INFORMATION SECTION === Model Family: Toshiba 3.5" MD04ACA... 8. Thanks for this. Quick question. Does the Chromaprint/Acoustid Plugin need to be installed as described in the Beets documentation, or is that done already?
  9. In case someone else want to try this, I was able to pass through a MSI Computer Low Profile PCI-Express Video Card GT 710 1GD3H LPV1 in KVM. I don't think this motherboard supports interrupt remapping, so I needed to add the following to the go file, as mentioned here https://wiki.lime-technology.com/UnRAID_6/VM_Management#Help.21_Failed_to_set_iommu_for_container:_Operation_not_permitted. I tried this on ESXI first with no luck. This setup allows me to play some basic games through steam link. Now that I know it works, I might try a better card. label unRAID OS menu default kernel /bzimage append vfio_iommu_type1.allow_unsafe_interrupts=1 initrd=/bzroot EDIT - Encouraged by the success with the GT 710, I tried a XFX Radeon R7 360 2GB, which also seems to work fine. I can play newer games on low/med settings. I haven't done extensive performance tests though.
  10. That's what I was thinking also, but I haven't seen that limitation mentioned anywhere else. If I decide to try it I'll report back.
  11. Hi folks, I've got an X8SIL-F with a Xeon X3440 and plenty of ram but no graphics card (other than integrated). That board was once popular around here, so I thought someone might be able to give me some advice. I'd like to setup a gaming VM. I know with hardware that old it won't be a world beater, but some quick research says the cpu is still fast enough to run many games (maybe on med or low). I'm looking for the best compatible graphics card. Has anyone had success with a similar setup or is this just a bad idea? Is the information below correct? Some information I've come across while researching: From the manual Also according the the manual slots 6 and 7 are PCIE x8 while slot 5 is x4. Slot 7 looks to be the only slot with an open end to potentially accommodate a x16 card. From this website http://www.rootwyrm.com/reference/babydragon-hcl/ Thanks
  12. This worked for me also. Thanks much. Are there any potential negatives to this workaround?

  14. With the addition of the bzroot-gui file in 6.2 we need more than 100mb. I don't suppose anyone has a 6.2 VMDK they'd be willing to share?
  15. Thanks for this plugin Zeron. Attempting to install on 6.17 returns "Cannot install /boot/packages/open_vm_tools-9.10.0.2476743-K4.1.15_unRaid-x86_64-9Zeron.tgz: file not found." That file is missing, but there is an open_vm_tools-9.10.0.2476743-K4.1.15_unRaid-x86_64-8Zeron file in that directory. Is that what I should be installing? Edit - After looking at the plugin code I decided it may have been a numbering glitch and changed the file name. It then installed fine.
  16. Just looked into this (I think its the 2nd time someone has reported this). You need to upgrade your unRaid to at least 6.1.8 -> I can work around it, but it'll be a day or two It's not that important. If it's caused by me using an older version of unraid, I wouldn't spend the time.
  17. Thanks Squid. I got the docker I was after running. When I click on an icon for the description I get "Fatal error: Call to undefined function array_column() in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/helpers.php on line 189 ". Not a big deal though. It's very functional. Thanks again.
  18. Hi folks. Thanks for the plugin. I'm getting this error in the GIU on 6.1.7. The list never loads. Tried rebooting the server, but no change. "Fatal error: Call to undefined function filter_var() in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/helpers.php on line 277 "
  19. Here's the result of checking the file system on disk 1 with the -n flag. It doesn't seems to indicate what to do next. Should I run it without the flag? Phase 1 - find and verify superblock... Phase 2 - using internal log - scan filesystem freespace and inode maps... - found root inode chunk Phase 3 - for each AG... - scan (but don't clear) agi unlinked lists... - process known inodes and perform inode discovery... - agno = 0 - agno = 1 - agno = 2 - agno = 3 - process newly discovered inodes... Phase 4 - check for duplicate blocks... - setting up duplicate extent list... - check for inodes claiming duplicate blocks... - agno = 0 - agno = 1 - agno = 2 - agno = 3 No modify flag set, skipping phase 5 Phase 6 - check inode connectivity... - traversing filesystem ... - traversal finished ... - moving disconnected inodes to lost+found ... Phase 7 - verify link counts... No modify flag set, skipping filesystem flush and exiting.
  20. Thanks for the fast responses. I rebooted to fix the problem but I will get the full diagnostics the next time it happens. In the meantime I'll look into how I run a file system check on disk 1.
  21. Hi folks, As the title says, my shares keep becoming inaccessible. The server otherwise seems OK. I can use the GUI and a recent parity check was fine. A reboot fixed the issue for a day or so. Log attached. server-syslog-20151011-0551.zip
  22. I have more than three but the rest follow the same format as for movies. /mnt/tv(container) to /mnt/user/tv/ (host). It should run with just mnt and config filled in (no media).
