  1. your not gona believe what my problem was i was looking at /mnt/disk1/movies when actually it was /mnt/disk1/Movies im speechless
  2. i was just confused by the HOW TO becasue it didnt say to carry on so i was expecting to see something happen when i click on save configurations. but never mind ill carry on tongiht and hope for the best
  3. no i havent i thought maybe something should happen at that point but becasue it didnt i stopped so should carry on through the whole process and then check at the end ?
  4. ill create a another folder copy one movie into it and see if it picks that up whats the best way to copy a file without using windows shall i just use midnight commander i reckon that original movie folder is messing me about
  5. hi im having a go at this and have not got very far i got as far as putting the details in the web server where my nzbgetweb folder is and the port 8084 but when i try to go to http://tower:8084/ i get nothing should i see something or do i need to do more first? actually the web server wizard wont save my settings no matter how many time i click on save configuraion nothing happens.
  6. i found the below on the sabnzbd wiki about sabnzbd and download speeds "2.Make sure python-yenc is installed (yenc-0.3.tar.gz or higher). If you are on windows it will already be present. This will speed up decoding as it will use C code instead of python code. The logging will say at startup whether this module has been installed. If you have installed using a repository/pre-built package you will likely already have it." im not sure if i have this installed i cant find it in my /boot/packages/ does this mean i dont have it installed can someone help and show me how i can check if i have this installed please?

  8. i ll get those for you this evening when i get home sorry .. i did think about that last night but crying babies and screaming wife didnt help ...
  9. Hi I was playing with this last night and i alsmost got everything working except something strange going on. I installed it all from the unmenu package and it all seems to install ok except there was a part that said KILL 5642... some numbers in red just after it installs the git.... something apologies for not being clear. HOwever when i install the air video package on my iphone and connect to the server i have to type in the server IP as apposed to the name for some reason but thats not a biggie. I have 2 shares like below in the conf Movies:/mnt/disk1/movies,TVShows:/mnt/disk1/TVShows this is the interesting bit the TV shows seems to work absolutey perfect they come up and i can watch them and everything. However it just wont pick up my movies for some reason, i have checked the path and everything twice over but still no joy. Any ideas why this could be happening? could it be a permissions thing? I did once have a strange problem with this folder once before and i have to change permissions
  10. you could be right i may go for the upgrade to 50meg iv heard thats on a seperate line/server or something and if the neighbours are not on it then i will get good download
  11. Thanks Neilt0 I will look into nzbget, i can think sabnzbd is taking up too much of my CPU power and hence the speeds start to slow down, unless my neighbour is hacking into my wifi ... i doubt but i have seen him use torrents and he is alwasy looking at graphs and things...anyway the main reason i use sabnzbd is because i use it with sickbeard and couchpotatoe could these be used with nzbget?
  12. on another note is there a different sabnzbd equivelant for unraid
  13. i dont use torrents but i know what you mean nevermind i did google and found one other person with a similiar problem but his got fixed becasue he had his retention set differently so im not sure, is there a way i can check the config files or anywhere that could tell me whats wrong? i checked the sabnzbd config files but doesnt tell me much, its wierd becasue some files come down really good. so i know its got nothing to do with the age of the files i wonder if its got to do with the number of files ??
