Sorry for if this is a noob question. Does this mean that through the Community applications it will be updated ? or do I have to do something specific to get it from dockerhub...

Hey I just found this. So far so great. Wondering in the Log file it says " WARNING: Your ClamAV installation is OUTDATED! WARNING: Local version: 0.100.3 Recommended version: 0.102.2" Anyway to update this?

Hey sorry if noob question. I just finished following SpaceInvaders setup. Got everything working with some modifcation But was wondering should I not be doing something to secure the OpenOfficedocument server. I can see that in Nextcloud there is a space for a secret Key but not sure where to configure this in open office... I ask as I am not wanting anyone who gets access to my onlyoffice.reverseproxy.me type of site to have access... to my docker Sorry in advance if this is a mute question due to other means of being secure.

Well Hopefully that is all it is. The last preclear is going to be finished probably by end of the night. Then I will reset server and see what happens at that point. Post a new diagnostic.

I upgraded a week or two ago from 6.7.2 to 6.8. No problems prior to update (other than low server space which I have rectified getting new harddrives in process of preclearing). The problem I have been getting is that I have been getting a error message saying Syslog is filling quickly. (Went to 70% within 2 days). As I am trying to figure this out I have pulled from the sys log and diagnostics. See attached. I am not sure what it means or what i should do. As I read through the syslog i keep seeing the below show up. It has various CPU listed not just "7". So not sure what is causing problem. " CPU: 33 PID: 13783 Comm: CPU 7/KVM Tainted: G W 4.19.88-Unraid #1 " I had been running preclear right now on a new drive I am planning to install to server this should be finished in next day. So can reset and post new diagnostics once done, if that clears up anything that is coming from that process. Any help would be appreciated as I am not sure exactly what is causing problem. So I am not sure how to verify this. I have configured the DuckDNS docker with my token and duckdns information. I get an initial update. But when I click either manual update I get an error saying error: ip address for myfiles.duckdns.org was already 173.66.54.159 not updated and then the time is at like 1 hour. I had previously had it setup thought it was all working but checked on it and there were things that had not updated for like 8 months, so I did a fresh install. Is there a way to ensure or verify that it works. As the 5 min thing appears to not be working.... Thanks

Hey, I am not sure where to go from here in term of problem solving my issue. Untill recently even like 2-3 weeks ago had absolutely no problems with the OpenVPN. Able to connect from my phone laptop etc. Then suddenly when I went to use it again a few days ago noticed that it was working. I know in the interm from when I last used it to when I noticed it not working there were updates to the Docker. In trying to trouble shoot I have deleted the docker, trying a simple reinstall I have also done a complete from scratch install following the SpaceInvader 2019 open vpn video. Everything looks correct, but I am unable to use the imported configure files to log in either auto login or with typed keys. Below I have the config page of the Open VPN if anyone can help me solve this would be much appreciated. I can also provide any additional information as needed. Config openvpn.pdf

Hey I am hoping that someone can possibly help me out. When I set up my server originally I created it with 2 parity drives #1, and #2 each 12 TB. and 2 data Drives each 12 TB. and 2 Cache drives. When I created the array in the first place, my thought was to keep the 2 parity drives until the point when I needed the extra storage drive space then convert parity drive 2 over to a storage drive (ie thought I could pre-clear it and add it back as a data drive). I am looking right now to change over the second parity drive but want to do it correctly. When I go in to the GUI on the main page while the array is off I can select in the drop down "no device" in parity drive 2, but I can not decrease the number of drives in the array.. (is there a way to change this). And when I go to select "no device" I get errors saying parity drive missing. I have not done anything at this point as I want to do this correctly. Thanks for help

Hey Thanks for explaining that to me. That actually really helps me understand whats going on. So I have my RMA drive on route to me. Again I know this is a stupid question but obviously I have not had to go through with this, but once I get my RMA drive back my plan was to preclear the new RMA drive to test for any defects in it. Then to use the RMA drive to rebuild the array. I order to rebuild to disk how exactly do I go about doing that. Is the option under settings? I have my server just turned off right now till i get new drive back so that I can have less stress on the other drives as you mentioned.

The Other problem I have is now when I boot up the drive does not read in terms of the main terminal page of unraid. It says device disabled, emulated. not reading or writing to it.. If anyone knows how to restart it I would be open to trying that. or other ideas.

Ya I wish I had taken the diagnostics first. Live and learn for the future... When I try to run the SMART report on the disk after now it pauses then makes a large amount of clicking high pitched sounds, more than just spinning and he read head moving. .

That is interesting option actually noob question. Do you know can I keep the cards I ha e on my mother boards on board sata connectors and just add the lsi card or similar with new drives to it and have both working in array properly.

Ya my next challenge is to figure out if there is a way to easily port my data from cache drives Two ssd's over to nvme drives to free up two more data slots for more drives if I can do that I might just get new drive and when rma comes In i can just add to array. But hopefully if anyone has any thoughts on diagnostic they can catch any other lurching errors

Hey hoping I might be able to get some help here. I just came home to find my unraid server reading my disk 1 of the array was in a disabled and emulated state with 2500(approximate) read errors. I had also heard a number of clicking sounds coming from the compute like the harddrive location). As I was having to run out again and didn't know how long I was going to take I didn't want to leave my server on for things to get worse. So I turned off the server before grabbing the diagnostic which I know now is probably the worst I could have done...). I had grabbed from the Unraid Gui firefox the download smart. But don't know how to get it off before I turned the server off so don't know if it is lost now. If anyone knows if this can be grabbed and can tell me how to get it I would be happy to provide it. When I turn the server back on I now get the disk as disabled and emulated. When I try to run SMART on it it clicks a crapton so I stop it, if it is felt needed I again can let it run fully, and provide. I have attached my diagnostics to know if there is anything else I need to know or do with the server, or anything else I should be worried about/ address I do have 2 parity drives. and the drive is under warrenty so I am thinking I might just replace it and rebuild array, but just want to check with the community any other thoughts. Just figure I would Post a follow-up so that if it helps the next person. In order to configure the syslinux file to include both this intel passthrough as well as my other passthrough what I did was the following With first part being the passthrough of my USB controllers. and then second part being my intel audio. and it worked. hopefully this helps someone else. kernel /bzimage append vfio-pci.ids=1b73:1100, 1b21:2142, 1b73:1100, 1b21:2142, 1b73:1100, 1b73:1100 pcie_acs_override=downstream,multifunction vfio-pci.ids=8086:a2f0 modprobe.blacklist=i2c_i801,i2c_smbus initrd=/bzroot,/bzroot-gui nomodeset

Just Wanted to give a final FYI how I solved my problem. So that it might help others. So yes do follow the recommendations from above for the Config of the mappings for the file locations. But in the setup on the first page where you are placing the listening port. You want to place the external Listening port view able on the Docker Page as 0.0.0.0 (**type this side on the listening port***) TCP --> 0.0.0.0 (internal mapping. I hope this might help others with setup problems.

Hey Thanks for the post. I am looking at getting an RTX 2080 but wasn't sure how the support with virtualization looked. Did you have to do anything in particular to get pass through to work with the USB and control on card. ? ie. any changes to vfio passthrough etc.. ? Thanks in advance.
