You are absolutely right, and I know why! It happens only for newly created databases. To fix it before next update, do following in the terminal:

    # Download the new development file:
    wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/olehj/disklocation/devel/disklocation/pages/system.php
    # And overwrite file with existing:
    mv system.php /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/disklocation/pages/system.php

Refresh the plugin/browser and save! ..or wait for the next update release.

    worked perfectly! Thank you!

  2. I just installed this plugin and i am unable to make my settings changes stick. I hit save and screen refreshes after 15-20 seconds and nothing has changed from the default. For example i am changing to 4 columns, 4 rows, physical tray assignment direction -left to right and temp in Fahrenheit. When i hit save its still at the defaults.

    I am running Unraid 6.7.0-rc2

Any ideas what may be going on?

Did you hit "exclude selected"?  IE: Works for me.

BTW, if you're just looking at fixing the media share, you can just go to Tools - New Permissions and run that strictly against the media share.

yes, i checked it, hit exclude selected, apply, then uncheck and exclude selected and apply. When i go to run the perms, its still listed as an exemption.

Just click on “HERE” and it takes you to the relevant Settings page :)

That does not work, it takes me to the FCP page where the box for media is already unchecked. I have checked again/unchecked etc all to no avail. I have even reinstalled FCP plugin.

  5. updated Docker and now I am getting this when attempting to log into the WebUI, I have already removed and reinstalled the Docker as 1st step. I am attempting to connect through a VPN currently so i am not sure if that has anything to do with it. It used to work previously but its been a while since i  have needed to log in for anything.

I am not sure which logs i should be looking for to troubleshoot this.

edit: also logged into a machine on my local network (no vpn) and tried from there, same error.

  6. Been having an issue last few days. Plex WebUI wasnt working so I went to investigate. Couldn't ever find a solid problem, so I decided to start over from scratch. WebUI works now, but cannot find PLex Server. Logs show Starting Plex Server over and over. Screenshots of various things attached. Any suggestions on how to get this working would be helpful.

    thanks.

  7. I have given up trying to get my Mellanox 10GBe cards to work so I thought i would try plan b. I have 2 quad intel gig nics that I can put in each of my 2 unraid servers. My plan is to back up data from one to the other. Can I bond them and then Direct connect them? Will this gain me anything in perfomance? Im not too concerned with speed I suppose as my backups will only copy over whats new each time it runs. I know it will help with failover and load balance etc.. I guess i just need to see if this is supported?  And do i plug cables into like ports on each card, or does it matter?

  8. i ran ifup eth2 and then ethtool eth2 again and now appears link is up, but still unable to ping.

    appears no link.

  10. I purchased 2 Mellanox 10GBe cards from ebay:

    Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/MNPA19-XTR-10GB-MELLANOX-CONNECTX-2-PCIe-X8-10Gbe-SFP-NETWORK-CARD/131634470127?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

I also purchased this cable from ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/SFP-H10GB-CU3M-CISCO-SFP-TWINAX-COPPER-CABLE-3M-PASSIVE-DAC-CABLE/282060432334?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

unRaid detects the cards and loads drivers and I have assigned them IP addresses on a separate subnet. My goal is to use 10GBe connection to backup Primary unRaid server to a backup unRaid server.

I see blinking lights when cable is plugged in and cards are online, but i am unable to ping between them. DId I purchase the wrong type of cable?

Not sure where to look to troubleshoot but appears that there is no link. I can ping each cards own IP from the server its connected to, but cant ping across to the other.

    Any assistance is appreciated.

There's no link detected on eth0, check cable/connections.

Did that. swapped cable. When i plug cable into switch and server, i get blinking lights on front panel and also on switch and back of NIC ports. power up through POST all is good, still blinking.. starts to load unraid and then lights go out, no activity on switch, lan or front panel.

  12. I have a working unRaid server and now I am setting up a pretty near identical setup (same hardware) to use to sync data too for redundancy. I got unRaid booted up and ethernet was working just fine to do some initial config, and install a few plugins. Shut the machine down and added some drives. Now when I power up, i see network activity, but somewhere during the unRaid boot process, the network light on the front goes dark and unRaid boots with no IP address.

I am using Supermicro X8DTi-F boards in both systems. The backup system only running 1 Xeon CPU while the main one running duals.

Using built in LAN ports (Intel NICS) on both as well as adding a 10GBe Mellanox card to each one.

attached is diagnostics.. This has me stumped. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
