  1. Nope, didn't edit the size.. I figured total size should be stated, didn't think it would mislead anyone since I attached the screenshot of the array.
  2. Thanks - the first screen shot has a capture of all of that information. If anyone is interested in any additional details, please let me know.
  3. Looks like this promo is done.. You can still get WD Red's for $190 though: http://www.neweggbusiness.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9B22-236-599&Tpk=N82E16822236599

Performance wise it's the best in its class. http://www.storagereview.com/seagate_nas_hdd_review
  5. Running version 5 final.. I have my shares setup, and all works fine. The issue that I am seeing is a share via Windows Explorer when browsing \\tower shows up even though it doesn't exist. It does not exist in the unRAID config as far as I can tell. I don't see any issue in the logs either. The strange part is, even when I dismount the drives, I am still able to see this share along with the flash. EDIT: Windows issue, somehow offline files were cached from the problematic share that no longer existed.
  6. SSH into the host and remove the folder using: rm -rd /mnt/cache/plugins/sqldir
  7. Price does not include Key - I can provide a preconfigured USB with a pro license for an additional $70. For those interested in just the license - I will not sell is separately.
  8. For sale is a server that I have been using as my primary unRAID box, it is in perfect working condition - I am in the process of migrating to a smaller mITX build. This is an identical chassy and design that Tom used to sell through Lime-Technology. Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. - GA-MA74GM-S2 Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5000+ - 2.6 GHz PSU: 750W Corsair Expanstion SATA card (2x Hard Drives) 2x IcyDock MB455SPF-B room for 10x hot swappable HD's 8x Hard Drives in various sizes and manufacturers. 4GB Memory $600. Location is NYC, I would greatly prefer local pickup. EDIT: Lowering the price to $500 - will not go any lower. Thanks.
  9. I think I needed VM Tools installed.. EDIT: Yep, VMWare tools were needed.
  10. I'm trying to migrate data from one unRAID box to another, but getting the following error: rsync: read error: Connection reset by peer (104) rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(760) [sender=3.0.7] I followed the instructions based on the following post: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=13432.msg127670#msg127670 Both servers running 5.0 stable. The source box is bare metal, the destination is ESXi. Not sure where to pull the logs from as I don't see anything relevant in /boot/logs Any ideas? Are there any other alternatives to migrating large amounts of data?
  11. I know this post is old, but did you ever figure out what the issue was?
  12. That second picture looks like an optical illusion and the case is standing on the floor.. Had to do a double take thinking that case was as big as the couch.
  13. What do you guys think of this build? Will be running ESXi. Also pretty heavy transcoding... Case - Case Lian-Li PC-Q25B PSU - SILVERSTONE Strider Plus ST50F-P 500W ATX Memory - Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 Mobo - ASRock H87M-ITX CPU - Intel Core i7-4770S Haswell 3.1GHz PCI-E SATA Expansion card - TBD Overkill on the CPU for hyper-threading.. Mobo chosen mainly because of VT-D. What do you guys think?
  14. If for some reason ESXi fails\Datastore becomes unusable - will I be able to recover my unRAID configuration? I'm assuming due to raw mappings this shouldn't be an issue, but need clarification. Thanks.
  15. Any update on this build? I am looking to build something similar. Thanks.
  16. Thanks. I like the Lian-Li case.. Seems like it will be a good fit. I doubt any of the hardware I have in my current setup will be moved to the smaller server, so I think I will be selling it.
  17. I've had a Lian-Li case with the works running unRAID for a few years now. Since drives are getting exponentially bigger I have no need for such a large rig.. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find a case with the smallest possible footprint, able to house 5-6 drives? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  18. Unfortunately there is nothing in the extra folder for me..
  19. Yes, I now understand that - hence my edit. But thank you anyways.
