  2. Well thats great well I swapped sas cables and I am checking now .. hmm
  3. What about cables you think those brands are low respect? Edit: I have spare 2 cables so I will try it.

  6. I think I used to do that yeah , i think my settings are all messed up.
  7. My server has been down for while and recently I just fixed it up. Now my shares won't connect at all. I get this when I try connect from my real pc but VMS work.   8. Both cards wont show up on the bios. So the card used to work. My mobo ethernet crapped out , is it possible the mobo has failed.
  9. Its not there in bios , I remember back with my other LSI card that when you booted it was this order MOBO BIOS -> LSI BIOS -> MOBO BIOS now its just MOBO bios. Unraid detects 3/8 drives connected to the SAS card. I have 2 SAS cards both are same deal.
  10. Sorry for late reply , I been out of my mojo. I turned on and had monitor plugged. Noticed new screen to show the SAS drive bios boot. Like usually it would show all drives it has and reboot to the bios right? Thats not happening. the card I have in now is a NEW USED HP SAS card. I have a LSI and that one was updated long ago. It worked with other drives before.
  11. I had two disks disk 1 and 9. Disappear at first I thought was bad disk. But no matter the switch of disks they wont show up. I bought 2 new disks and they wont show up either. MY sas card can do 8 HDDs but it only shows 3 and I swapped sas card for another and still same effect. I had a weak gpu on pci 1 and decent gpu on pci 2 and my sas on pci 3. I thought it was not getting enough bus speed so I removed 1st gpu. But still same effect. You would think at least the 4th hdd would show up on the sas ?   12. I ended up going to beta and then making a separate pool for my nvme and doing a usual vmdisk on the nvme.

  17. I got Asrock x570 taichi board , amd ryzen 3800x cpu. I got a nvidia cheap little 710 in primary for unraid visuals. My msi rx 560 4gv oc is in the 2nd slot. All attempts to pass the 560 to my windows 10 vm fails to boot with this messasge
  18. My unraid servers mobo has been long time malfunctioning. I want replace the MOBO Ram cpu case, I did a clean shut down of unraid before this mayhem. What would I need to ensure a clean swap? I got old intel setup with Gigabyte soc z97 . The thing is pissing me off. I want to replace it with a am4 board. Right now the thing wont even show bios screen to me at all. All fans are on system had debug code c0
  19. Ok It was minor pain lost 2 disks but I got em all back now SSDS all 3 are on my sata intels. I am gonna delete docker and do fresh test.

  21. Ok if I connect my drives to LSI will unraid lose them? like the placement.
  22. My other drives are fine with the card though? I had an error for SDC i got replacement coming
