  1. To my understanding we get two trial extensions. This will be my second one which works out perfect as I just need the trial to get me through til next Friday. Problem is, when I go to the Request Trial Extension Key pay and click on the Register Trial button... nothing happen. How do I go about getting this resolved so I can get it back up and running?
  2. So, back again with another rutorrent issue. Just started today. Haven't changed a single thing. the program has been working pretty much exactly as intended for the last couple of weeks. As of today, as soon as it starts to download anything, the entire app becomes unreachable. If you hit refresh it just spins and spins until it finally loads the rutorrent webui with this error in the log " Bad response from server: (504 [error, getplugins]) Gateway Time-out". If nothing is downloading though, I have no issues navigating the webui, force checking previous downloads that are currently paused or anything. I haven't changed any settings on anything in my network or on my unraid server so... i don't know. I'm getting plugin errors such as Unpack plugin: rTorrent user can't access 'unrar' program. The only things I use in rutorrent is unpack and auto move. But they've been working no problem for weeks.
  3. Hey... So I love netdata. But I have a question about one of the stats it gives. As per the picture below you can see that "nice" is eating up a lot of my CPU usage. What is nice?
  4. I solved it. I had to go into the BIOS and change the mass storage device from "auto" to "hard disk". Booted no problem.
  5. It's a Foxconn T2491602 instead of a Chenbro RM41824. I did. I selected the USB drive for an override boot.
  6. So today I moved all of my drives and my unraid USB stick to my new server. I set it up in the bios to give the USB boot priority. But when it gets to the boot screen all it is is a black screen with a blinking cursor. I tried the boot to the UEFI USB and the "generic flash device"... and it's not booting. It was booting no more than 5 minutes before. Also to note, I have tried the USB in the front USB ports and the back USB ports. In my bios I do have the non-UEFI as my #1 bootable device.
  7. Um, one of my 8TB drives is at 90%, the other two combined give me 8TB of free space. One is sitting at 3TB full, the other is at 5TB full.
  8. Then ruTorrent has it's "incoming" folder in the /downloads/ and it's completed folder it's suppose to move things too. The auto move works like 75% of the time now. If i navigate to the share for downloads/incoming I see the files it's downloading. In this case, I even tried completely deleting them and starting fresh on them all. But then all they do is reset do 0% and change their status to "stopped"
  9. They are... as up until day before yesterday it was downloading just fine. In fact, when I got sonarr to download about 10 new episodes of a few shows last night they all downloaded no problem. Grant it, for some reason ruTorrent didn't auto move them to completed like it always does and it didn't auto unpack the files like it always has done, but it did download.
  10. So ruTorrent keeps stopping all of my downloads and "resets" their progress. I have ~8TB of free space left on my unraid server, with about 963GB worth of queued up data to be downloaded in my ruTorrent. I had everything stopped and was downloading one item at a time due to their size and I was wanting to manage as many as possible for organizational purposes while I was awake. So because of this I have several items that are currently" stopped at any where from 0% completed to ~10% completed. Now my torrents don't use my cache drive so it's not running into any storage issues from my cache drive running out of space. Let's say I start up Torrent 1 which is currently at 10% completed. For some reason, once it hits some random point, the torrent switches back to "stopped" and it's progress will say 10%. Even though when it was downloading it hit say 60% before it stopped. If I force recheck the file, it will find 60% completed and start back up from there, but then shortly will stop and reset back to 10%. If I start all the files, at some point, everything will stop at the same time, and reset back to it's original progress completed from when I started them all (so any where from 0% to ~15% depending which file it is). During this time, my download limit changes from unlimited back to it's default 9.7MiB/s. Any ideas?
  11. Sounds great. I was unaware that linux auto cached unused ram like that. And to know it auto releases on demand. I'll take it. Thanks guys!
  12. I don't quite understand what the cache means in terms of how much ram is being used. I have 16GB of memory in my unraid system. It reports ~2.65GB used, ~12.64GB cached, with a few hundred megabytes free. Why is it cache'ing almost all of my memory? Is this normal? What does it mean?
  13. rTorrent keeps changing it's upload and download limits. It keeps defaulting to like 4.8Mbps upload and 9.7Mbps download. I constantly keep changing it to unlimited, but every couple of days when I check on it, I see that it's went back to it's default limits. I went into settings > Connection > Global Bandwidth Limit and changed Upload/Download to 0 (for unlimited). Why does it keep changing back?
  14. Does anyone perhaps know if rtorrent applies some unknown permission to files it "auto unpacks" or how to set up a download queue?
  15. Ok, new question. Is there a way to set rtorrent so that it only downloads one "torrent" at a time, and everything else is just simply queued? I don't see a torrent numbering system, nor do I see a queue system. Also, does anyone know. Does rtorrent do some sort of weird permissions to files it auto unpacks? Sonarr and Radarr have no problem copying the files over to my Plex library once the download completes and rtorrent unpacks the rar files, but I for whatever reason can't delete the file that was unpacked. Says I need permission from TOWER/Nobody. I've tried this with my Torrents Share folder being public and secure... but I can't delete the file. I'm doing this from Windows Explorer (Win 10) by the way.
  16. I'll see what they say. Thank you for your time today though. I appreciate it.
  17. Unraid. The way I have it set up is I have two shares. MyMedia which Plex uses for it's media libraries, and a torrents share which rtorrent uses. For my dockers, I have Plex, RTorrent, Sonarr, Radarr, Jackett, Ombi, and tautulli. What happens is, either Sonarr see's a new episode for a monitored series airs or someone requests a movie/tv show via Ombi. These requests are then sent to rtorrent, which downloads said media file. It starts with the Media in Torrents/Downloading and when finished, it moves them to Torrents/Complete and unpacks them. Once they are unpacked, Sonarr/Radarr then copies the files over to the correct media folder in the MyMedia share. All of this works, flawlessly now. It's just that files that rtorrent unpacked automatically, I can't seem to delete.
  18. So I got it working in all of my shares, except one now... Maybe I messed up permissions some where. My torrents folder, that rtorrent downloads too, then moves to a completed folder. Once it's in the completed folder, rtorrent automatically unpacks the rar files. What I'm trying to do is deleted that extracted file as Sonarr/Radarr has already grabbed it and made a copy of it in my plex folder. Do you think rtorrent is establishing sort of ownership over a file that is keeping me from modifying it? Everyone and users (UnixGroup\users) have Read checked when you look at the permissions from my windows side.
  19. So then would you recommend removing the established connection. Then enter a secure share, use my unraid account credentials. Then after that I can entire all secure shares (that that unraid account has access too) and public shares without issue?
  20. Even on the secured shares. i have it set up to that user "mike" has read/write access. Then when I map the drive on my Win 10 PC, I use mike as the credentials, and it still says I need permission from TOWER/Nobody.
  21. No.. is there a way to do that? I'm on a Windows 10 PC using my microsoft account (IE it's my msn email and password to log onto my PC).
  22. Minus the default root account, I created one user account. This is happening on shares that are both secure and public.
  23. So I'm only testing unraid out. Using it with a single drive and an ssd for cache. I'm setting up all of my dockers and user shares that I'm going to want for when I finally build out my actual server. I've only been using it for a couple of days now, but when I navigate to files in my user shares from a windows machine using Explorer, it won't let me delete files. Says I need permission from TOWER/Nobody. Who or what is Tower/Nobody as it's not a user. Is there a way to fix this? Am I missing something?
  24. Thanks! I'll install it and start playing around with it.
