  1. i know its a "tiny" server compared to i3 and i5 and what not, but im not demanding much, actually only redundancy of what i store and the abillity to read and write files to it and stream a file from it now and then, i guess i could have gone with tinylinux, but i´m not tech savy in linux, and unraid is "simple" plugin drives and keep the biggest drive parity. Thats why i chose unraid. Kind regards Peter
  2. When i try to upgrade to 6.5.1 i get plugin: updating: unRAIDServer.plgplugin: downloading: https://s3.amazonaws.com/dnld.lime-technology.com/stable/unRAIDServer-6.5.1-x86_64.zip ... failed (File I/O error)plugin: wget: https://s3.amazonaws.com/dnld.lime-technology.com/stable/unRAIDServer-6.5.1-x86_64.zip download failure (File I/O error) Kind Regrds Peter unraidnas-diagnostics-20180514-2214.zip
  3. will this apply to this aswell, i have a qnap ts-659 pro II, it has a sata-DOM on sda, now unassigned, wil that count against 6 drive limit ? Kind Regards Peter
  4. Thank you for the replies, close the topic, as you have answered my question. Kind regards Peter
  5. Thanx for the quick reply, it was just now that i have unRAID runinng on a QNAP nas, from a usb stick, the DOM on the QNAP is not in use and i thought maybe it could be used as a cache. But as you stated no point in 512MB cache in unRAID. I just thought that 512MB would be better than none.
  6. As my topic describes can i use the DOM on my qnap for cache, it´s 512MB i know it´s not much, but would it help and can it be done ? Kind Regards Peter
