If I already have (spinning platter) drives on one Unraid server, is it possible to move some storage drives to another Unraid server (like 3 out of 5 for example) and keep running both servers?

Great question!! So here was my experience: 1.) First of all, to answer your question, I did not. It was however on my list of possible resolutions (and I plan to do in the relatively future once my system is up to speed.) 2.) When it was sent to me, it was built as optimal for Windows 10 Pro. As it ran fine then, it seems as though there should be no issues. However, when I was preparing for Unraid, I was setting up for a few things all at once so I added (1) 4-port USB card, (1) Asus Thunderbolt expansion card, and (1) graphics card. I should have done it incrementally, but ad I did not want to repeatedly pull it out and set it into my rack (and because I am a little bit of a nervous and inexperienced systems noob), I did it all at once. Working backwards, I found the culprit to be the ***Thunderbolt expansion card 3***, as it was the only one which forced shutdowns when booting both Windows and Unraid. After pulling the Asus Thunderbolt 3 expansion card, the issue resolved from that point and has not returned. Note: after I deal with my memory, storage, video card, and pick up an HTC Vive... test them all.. and am comfortable with it all, I will possibly attempt to install the Thunderbolt 3 card again.

Attempted on Chrome and Firefox, (Chrome adblocker disabled within domain / Firefox only plugin is for printing) Selected krusader from right click menu closed window restarted from Docker screen Same gray background with no interface for krusader Not sure where you are telling me to delete from. I have bein following along videos to the best of my ability from SpaceinvaderOne. Beyond that, I have slowly attempted troubleshooting without causing issues until I am better versed on this. Could you please tell me where I should be deleting from? WIll it recreate necessary files if I delete... or what should I expect to happen?

@binhexI see what you mean (from within noVNC). I selected Krusader. and then I restarted Krusader from the Docker menu. I Unfortunately still have no Krusader interface, just the gray screen.

Restarted. VNC connects, but no sign of Krusader....

I'm fine with installing and reinstalling, I never had anything in my taskbar, or anything else from VNC or Krusader to begin with. I appreciate your time, Brother. ? and hopefully @binhex will assist.

I am not sure if you are pointing to the windows task bar at the bottom, outside of the browser or not, but windows is not showing any VNC applications down there. It only comes up with a new Chrome tab, with the left VNC menu slide out bar, and the gray background. ?

This I what I have, I am not sure where to look for it to be minimized. Is this the menu I should be in?

Web UI goes to blank screen with nothing but a VNC side slide window... I get no actual Krusader UI

I downloaded Cmder (because so many people told me that it is better and simpler than Putty (especially since I haven't used either). Any chance that you could show me an example of what the command line should look like when I type it in?

For 1. You stated: "via the GUI - stop the array, and then power down". But, I am unclear about where the power down function is. Is it still in the GUI? Are you telling us to press the power button? Please clarify... Because while I can only speak for myself, I am admittedly frustrated that the developers of this OS would allow setting up VMs, servers, and dockers to be easier than shutting down the freaking system. Maybe it's just me, but I find it perplexing. Anyone who can aid me in restarting, I would be greatly appreciative (I am a caveman, so pictures and and glyphs aiding the instructions would also be very welcome and helpful). .

I am FREAKING out! I cannot seem to figure out why my drive will not clear. I just got this WD Red Pro 10TB. My previous Toshiba 8TB took a long time. But this WD Red Pro has seemed to given me issues. After experiencing a restart due to unresponsive UI, clearing seems to have picked up from where it left off. I don't know how or where from here. Does anyone know of an updated, unbiased resource to find failure rates which include?: WD Red Pro 10TB Seagate IronWolf Pro 10 or 12 TB Toshiba N300 10TB HGST 10TB If so, please share. Ok... soooo, I'm stuck. I have entered safe mode three different ways(prompt, shutdown-shiftKey, and command prompt. When I enter UEFI and switch to AHCI, I only get a black screen, a few icon flashes, and return to uefi. When I do, I check boot order, I tried both m.2, with no luck. I always have to return to RST raid to assure that I do not destroy my install for no reason.

What was it that worked perfectly? I am trying to use RST for my system as well (but only when booting outside of unraid)...

OK... I am finally back home and in front of my system. My USB has UNRAID written & ready... BUT: I intended to switch use cases from full system access production rig, to booting up unraid to run VM for certain applications. PROBLEM: My primary boot is: Intel RST RAID 0 dual m.2 (windows 10 PRO). However, according to instructions, I have to switch from INTEL RST(RAID) to AHCI for UNRAID to access the drives. I have not saved it, but according to a UEFI warning, I could lose files from raid (likely my windows install). So, is there a way to keep my RST RAID as is for my m.2, and use AHCI for my HDDs through SATAIII?

THANK GOD I FOUND THIS!!! After a day of trying to find out how two lighthouses can be used for multiple vm vive users, I almost lost it. How are they effectively connected?
