*UPDATE* got it working. Using Smart for the cable type and just USB for the APC type it saw the ups and connected (In case anyone else has this UPS and was looking for help Hi everyone, I’m hoping for a little advice, I’m still running 6.6.6 until all the kinks are worked out with 6.7, and I have purchased an APC Bx1400u-az That is being seen by the computer, it is listed in the system information as a connected USB device, however I’m not able to get the UPSDaemon to see it. i enable the APC daemon and have tried several of the UPS type options, ModBus, APCsmart but I always get connection lost. maybe this UPS isn’t compatible? any help would be appreciated

Hi, i was working on adding a temp folder to my cache setup and noticed that there is a season of a tv show listed inside it. I never had its parent folder (media) cached and while i have the dynamix cache folders plugin, its inactive and never been enabled. the date of the folder is weeks ago and i have no idea why it alone exists only on the cache drive. while i know i can set shares to use cache, is there a way to force this for folders within that share? I was thinking mounting that folder as a share with cache set to no and see what happens. any help appreciated

Hi, Thanks for the reply, yes thats the version of crusader im running, however it didnt have port 5900 set, only 6080. I just manually added port 5900 to it and instantly connected.. so thank you for that, it just wasnt active be default and wasnt listed so i added it manually

Do I need to change the settings of the Krusader docker to reflect 5900? I tried forcing the VNC app to use 5900 and it just gives an error Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

*SOLVED* - The docker didnt have port 5900 active or forwarding to anywhere, once manually set i was able to connect instantly Ok, kind of an unusual ask here. I use Krusader to manually go and work on files, unpack archives etc. working well. If I access the docket from my iPhone, The interface works but can’t really scroll or drag as whenever I tap the screen it seems to click (As opposed to some apps that use the screen as a trackpad you can scroll etc) I tried installing a VNC iOS app and pointing it to the port for Krusader (6080) but I get an error. Are dockers like Krusader not really accessible via external VNC apps and you have to use the web port or am I using an incorrect port to connect to? Thank you everyone. Thank you for all your help, my issue appeared to be a faulty SATA connection and/or cable along that appeared to cause corruption in the plugins Database I had to delete the sql file from the USB drive and now it’s all working It shows the cause drives as unused, but at this stage I don’t care, it was 2am when I finished with the server. It’s running, I’m happy Thanks again for everything.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. It’s currently 2am and I have been working on the server once 9. What I thought was a software issue turned out to be a mix of hardware and software. While my system saw the 2 cache drives when I shut it all down and connected a monitor, I saw lots of errors trying to access ata12 (the second SSD) I tried a tonne of stuff but it appears the hard drive cage I used has a faulty port. I have moved the drives to a new location, new cables and did have to re-configure the second drive as cache again but it all seems to be running. I did have to goto the USB and delete the plugsin’s SQL file because it refused to see the second ssd even though Unraid is seeing it as normal. After that it’s now seeing all the drives. It doesn’t show that it’s a cache drive but rather marks it as unused. But that’ll do for now. Unraid sees them both as cache and the plugin sees them at least so I can rest easy. Thank you for all your help and suggestions.

Just an update: at work right now going over spaceinvadersone's youtube video to see where I went wrong, now I didn't change the raid to stripe but I did select 'Balance' and afterwards lost the information about the second drive. this is a screen shot from his video reflecting the same missing temperature that I do so maybe no major issue.. (I thought I had broken something)

Well this is worrying. They are new drives and I ran diags on them before setting up the server. It remains this way after power cycle and reseating the sata cables. I may have some something wrong with my setup. I’ll go through the mirror setup more closely, but it’s nearly 3am now so that’s tomorrow’s job. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the reply, those 2 SSD’s I have always report exactly 40° c, never changes. While the mechanical drives fluctuate (it’s summer here and stupid hot) So I just assumed either Unraid wasn’t able to read the data, or the drives emit a false SMART reading as to not upset some systems. It’s only after I followed Spaceinvaders video to mirror the cache drives did the second drives temperature disappear so I assumed that was expected.

Hi, I have recently set my 2 Cache drives to be mirrored (i thought they were be default but then saw Spaceinvaders video ) anyway that sorted, but this plugin now only sees 1 drive and 1 blank space but can see something is there. (it used to just show 2 separate drives) I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and searching through here to make sure it hasn't been brought up before. not a major issue, just was nice to see my 2 blue drives at the bottom, im also getting an error in text on the configuration page. "Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/disklocation/pages/system.php on line 9" so you can see Unraid sees both drives and the plugin sees something but cant work it out? (or my Cache is borked as im very new to this ) Is there a way to have a mini version of the location page on the unraid main dashboard, so you can see an overview of your whole system? Thank you very much!

I have installed both, filbot’s GUI only gave me options for renaming and I couldn’t find info on how it can unpack even though a few posts suggest it for that Unrarall I actually saw and made the script and got it to work, but I’m not sure how to script it to run automatically and ignore files it’s previously unpacked I is the dumb. Hi everyone, I nearly have my unraid system all setup, I have dockers for Plex and Sonarr etc setup, what I am looking for it something that will look at a folder and unrar files it finds. It doesn't need to delete or move anything. Essentially I have seen that apps like Deluge have unpack built in, however my server isn't actually seeding, I have a seedbox doing all of that and if I was able to setup the transmission client on the seedbox to unpack I wouldn't want it to unpack everything (if I get a comic archive for example I wouldn't want unpacking hundreds of files. currently im using Windows and have a program which monitors my Sonarr and Radarr folders and unpacks what's there. the apps will grab the movie/tv show and move it leaving the still .rar'ed files because they are syncing to the seedbox so that's fine. the program doesn't re-unpack everything it finds again otherwise it would unpack the same movie / tv show but for the life if me I can't find anything apart from either a script to unpack files that you can use a cron job to setup every hour, I have heard there is a way to make it look for changes in the folder and run.. that would be perfect but is there a way to make it ignore files its already successfully unpacked? I have posted this as a reply to someone else's post but that was an older one. I have already had some replies there but no luck so thought id make my own. Im familiar with apps and computers but linux is very new hand holding maybe required here Appreciate any options you may have

Sorry to bring up the past here, but im a recent convert to UNRaid and don't use Deluge. while looking for something to unpack my downloaded files i found this. there seems to be so little for noobs to use. i have found either 'use Deluge' or 'just write a script' i run the torrent client (Transmission) on my seedbox and have used a windows app to unpack anything that's been downloaded. I didn't think it would be this difficult to get something easy to point to a directory and say whatever .RAR's are there, unpack them. does anyone have step by step guides to get this or something similar to work? Cheers.

And from there I can force ‘config’ and ‘downloads’ path? will try, cheers.

Thanks for the reply, I understand that I have to give the software the parameters it wants for it to work, my issue in even the example you gave linked is that I’m not getting an option field to enter those. I’m getting (with advanced on) webui and parameters. no fields for config path , no host path or host key fields these are the instructions from the developer attached but if you do part my screenshot to OP’s he has a lot more fields to fill out i have tried going via terminal and typing in the command as listed (bypassing the store/docker repository completely) but I may not have had the path set correctly. My issue is not being given the path options at setup (as seen in the images)to set in the first place

Thanks for the reply, im afraid however advanced opens up manual control of the icon and forced port but the parameters do not match the required 'config' and 'download' options unless you may know what the 'extra parameters and post args represent?

I have recently started setting up my unRAID server and was looking for a service to do just this. apparently the developer had (about 19 hours ago) updated the system to resolve the user permissions issue listed. but i would love some help if i may, when i try to add this i'm not prompted with any of the web-UI or sync setting options and am quite puzzled as to what i'm doing wrong.
