  1. OK, i've had a look at the disks and the last part of the S/N is indeed written on the end of the drive. Its Disk 3: R6GXS1XY The parity check is terribly slow. unRAID hasn't told me that there is an issue or anything. Activity started on Tue 24 Jul 2018 12:30:01 AM BST (today), finding 0 errors. Last result: 18 hours, 52 minutes. Average speed: 117.8 MB/s Parity-Check in progress... Completed: 4 %. Elapsed time: 20 hours, 42 minutes. Estimated finish: 1756 days, 19 hours, 37 minutes Something is very wrong!
  2. OK, attached. I checked "Anonymize diagnostics", so hopefully, its done its job and not posted any personal/private info that shouldn't be on the internet! tower1-diagnostics-20180724-2002.zip
  3. Guys- I've just opened up my server to install a new disk, and I've noticed that one of my disks is vibrating really quite badly and is making a noise like what you'd hear if you gently place a bit of paper on a spinning fan blade, like a really fast clicking/grinding noise. So that drive is definitely failing. I've opened up the web GUI for unRAID, and its (apparently) doing a parity check. The check has been running for 18 hrs and is due to finish in 406 DAYS, yes, over a year. This normally takes ~19 hrs to complete. So something is wrong here. How do I find out which drive is failing in the GUI? Why has unRAID not sent me an email telling me a drive is / has failed? Coming from FreeNAS, I always received an email when a drive was failing. I don't know what to do apart from unplug the drive and see which one disappears, but that's not really the correct method to diagnose this, is it? I have 5 drives. 3x 8TB WD RED (3 months old) 2x 1TB 2.5" laptop drives (over 3 years old, i believe). It is one of the 8TB WD RED drives that has failed - again, 5th drive in a year, 3 were DOA, one failed during pre-clear x 3-cycles.
  4. Also note that /Downloads is not the same as /downloads, afaik.
  5. I have several plugins installed to do different tasks at different times. Each plugin has a scheduler build in where i can set the time at which it performs its task. These schedulers don't appear in the [settings] -> [scheduler] tab. This means that It's tricky to figure out what is happening, and when. Please force all plugins to use the [settings] -> [scheduler] tabs so all schedules are in one clearly visible place. Plugins that schedule I have installed: These do not add an entry in [settings] -> [scheduler] - CA Auto turbo write - CA Auto update Applications - CA Backup / Restore Appdata - Dynamix File Integrity - Fix Common Problems - Recycle Bin - Tips and Tweeks - User Scripts These add an entry in [settings] -> [scheduler] - (Parity check) - (mover) - Speedtest Command Line Tool - Dynamix SSD TRIM
  6. No I'm not sure. The folder doesn't show up in krusader either.
  7. This plugin also doesn't work for me. Installed it, started it. Deleted a few files from a share on a windows PC over the network and there is no .Recycle.Bin folder created in the share. Any idea how to start diagnosing this? unRAID 6.5.3
  8. I'm also seeing the speed issues. Duplicati uploads to B2 cloud at 700kB/s (~6mbps = my max. upload speed). However, Duplicati uploads at 1.2KB/s to a network attached drive (ReadyNAS) via FTP. It then aborts after a while with a timeout error. This all used to work seamlessly... I'm wondering if Duplicati changed something in the last few months that's broken this.
  9. No not really. I just wanted to know what would happen in that event. I store my data in 3 different locations, why? Because there is risk with each one. Going out of business could have been a real pita if the drives become locked down. However as this is not the case due to standard file systems used it's one less thing to worry about.
  10. The worst that can happen is you'll no longer be able to use unRAID, if I've read this correct. The data (encrypted or not) can still be read by another Linux distro (with the encryption key if req'd).
  11. In sab, click on the spanner icon. Your ip address is shown on the popup. If it's the same as your ip in your Internet browser, sab's not using the vpn. Privoxy doesn't request via vpn. It uses ssl to the proxy web service.
  12. Set the downloads dir like this: /downloads <-> /mnt/user/<some>/<folder>/ Then in sonarr set the same. /downloads <-> /mnt/user/<some>/<folder>/
  13. What's your Internet upload speed? Mine is 5mbps and duplicati uploads to back blaze at 760KB/s
  14. Yes, that shows the image in my browser. Its still not showing in the docker list though.
  15. I've created a template for google play music uploader, and I need to set the icon in the template. Here is the icon: https://ibb.co/bBbWMd I've added it to the icon url but it doesn't show. How should I set an icon?
  16. I use binhex-sabnzbd which also includes privoxy. Whereach in the headphones ui are you setting the proxy ip/port ?
  17. Yes, this worked. Any ideas why its going to the error stream instead of the file stream? (unRAID version 6.5.3)
  18. root@tower1:/# docker logs google-music-uploader > /boot/containerLog1.txt
  19. Thanks. I run this command: docker logs google-music-uploader > /boot/containerLog.txt and the log scrolls up the screen, the file "containerLog.txt" is created but it's empty.
  20. Is there a setting somewhere to make headphones use a proxy for all requests? Radarr/Sonarr/Lidarr has this but I'd like to use headphonesinstead of Lidarr.
  21. Thanks. Just another quick question. On the media management screen, I changed the permissions to 0777 for both file and folder. Do I also need to set the User / Group ? If so, is it 99 / 100 ?
  22. On the System -> Status tab, i dont see the free space within the share, i see the space that is available in the docker vDisk: / 14.3 GB 25.0 GB /etc/resolv.conf 14.3 GB 25.0 GB /etc/hostname 14.3 GB 25.0 GB /etc/hosts 14.3 GB 25.0 GB My tv series are stored in /tv/<series>, which is in the template as read/write, and points to a folder within a share on the array. Is this an issue with Sonarr, the docker container, or my configuration? I opened a bug report in the sonarr git, and was told that its probably a permissions issue?
  23. thanks for the explanation. Maybe this could be fixed with a bit of jquery to only fetch say 200 lines at a time, and dynamically load more if the user scrolls to the top of the page.
  24. Open the log file in chrome to a docker that is updating the log quite a bit. Chrome starts to hang after a while, then it complains the page is not responsive and offers to kill the window. So log file viewing in chrome somehow crashes Chrome.
  25. I think i've found a bug in this Community Applications (CA). Do I report it here or is there a github or something?
