I believe the syslogs are in the diagnostics pack are they not?

Hi All, My server keeps freezing / been almost unresponsive - If I wait long enough eventually the pages of the web ui will eventually load but this could take up to an hour to load some pages... I can bring the server back via either a reboot or restarting / shutting down the docker service... of course I have to wait a long time for the page to load. I've attached my diagnostic zip file direct from unraid after I restarted the docker service and gained access back. I have no idea what's causing the issue or why... if anyone can help would be much appreciated. jonzanas-diagnostics-20240308-1101.zip

Hi Everyone, Long shot since both Lian Li cases have been EOL for awhile, but hoping someone in the UK has one and would be willing to sell, I am willing to pick up etc so if someone has one please let me know. Hi Everyone, I wanted to ticker with Pfsense so thought I would try putting a VM on my unraid server to play with. My MB has two GB Intel NICS, my plan was to hopefully use one for WAN one for LAN. (one of which is currently been used by my unraid... don't know if the causes a problem. I bridged each NIC one to Br0 one to Br1 but when I select these in the VM creation and install PFsense, but its unable to see my NICs? anyone know whats going wrong?

Anyone having issues seeing the login form on Chrome? I load nextcloud on Chrome and cannot see the login form, works fine on IE though?

Thanks for the response... I can understand that but I am getting around 6000 currently.... but my server automatically runs a parity check w/ Write corrections on... so after that I ran another and I am still getting the Sync errors? is this normal?

Hi Everyone, Suddenly starting to get a lot of Sync Errors after running a parity check... around 8000 I believe... which seems really bad??? previous check didn't show anything how do I figure out what it is... Hi Everyone, I made a thread awhile back but never ended up making the full switch... I am now ready to do so I am in the process of pricing up a new build as per below: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/jonathan.gorbutt/saved/V8fpGX Let me know what you guys think... any feedback is welcome! I am currently using a HP Microserver Gen8 w/ DrivePool and no redundancy, I then Cloud back up my important stuff which is everything except Movies and TV shows... I plan to do the same with unRaid everything will be backed up other then Movies and TVShows as I can always re-rip my blu-rays or download them again... I was hoping someone could answer a question... since I have not built me new unraid system yet I was considering moving my current server on to unraid and then when I get my new hardware... just transfer the drives into that system? would this work as in moving the drives to new hardware or would that screw with unRaid? Another question I have it that I currently use 4TB WD REDS I was considering buying some new drives later on... thought about going to the 8TB WD REDS just wondering if I would be better off getting more 4TB's in the sense off if I do loose data it will be 4TB rather then a possible 8TB? Hi Everyone, Very new to unraid I have been running my setup less then a week and my USB drive failed? I tried the drive in my current PC and it just keeps asking me to format and shows at RAW in computer management? What do I do? I have another USB drive I am install unraid on to now but? I read someone about GUID keys etc? I haven't even bought a key yet as I still have over 80% of my trail days left? Many Thanks

Going do the switch over Friday night / Saturday morning already had a quick look around the UI all new to me but I want something to tinker with so this is going be my new hobby, I already started watching Space Invaders videos today about Plugins and how unRAID works compared to other solutions... I hopefully plan in the future to build another NAS as I am using a HP Microserver Gen8 currently which only has 4 bays 2 of which are only SATA2... I thought about building a Ryzen system but I have read on Reddit and I believe here that Ryzen is a bit buggy and not as good on the performance compared to Intel? though these comments I found where from 1-2 year ago? is this still the case? Again Thanks for answering all my questions and this community does seem amazing quick fast responses and helping newbies great to see Defiantly will be using some of the Docker containers you guys made too Also is it recommended to use the cache drive for Docker Images such as Plex, Sonarr, Sabnzbd and such?

Thanks for answering all my questions everyone been really helpful hoping to switch everything over to unRAID this weekend if I make the jump, Just got another question, does unRAID do balancing? i.e I have 4TB drive and then add another will unraid spread then data already on the first drive to the new drive? so the data is split across both?

@CHBMB Thanks for answering some of my question just got a few follow ups. In Drivepool if I remove a Drive from the pool, DrivePool will move the data to another drive if enough space is available... does unRaid do the same thing? Can unraid Pool be mounted like a Network Drive in windows? Does windows support XFS disks or would it need some 3rd party driver / software? When using Docker Containers (never used before only read about) can Docker Containers access the Drive Pool? I.e if I ran a NextCloud In Docker can it save data directly to the Pool. Again with the last question i stated I can use without parity, but will I be able to add a parity drive later on? Many Thanks

Hi Everyone, So currently I am considering the switch to unRAID I am currently running a HP MicroServer Gen8, Running Windows Server and DrivePool on 2x 4TB WD RED Drives (Just Pooled No Mirroring or Parity Drive, YES I KNOW...) and running all my applications like Sonarr, Plex & Usenet etc on Windows which has worked well so far... my drives are starting to fill so far and I am not so worried about loosing data at the moment because anything I loose I would just redownload... but eventually its going to get to a point where I would rather just have a Parity drive so I can rebuild with a new drive, hence considering the switch to UnRaid, but before I do I would like to know a few things if possible which I will list below. My Drives are getting full at the moment can unraid do what DrivePool does and just Pool drives together? without parity? but then also allow for adding parity drive later on once I get more drives? If unRAID can pool drives together, are drives removable like DrivePool, I.e I have to drives pooled together remove one drive and then read data on another computer say inside windows? Can I add drives to UnRaid without formatting them so I can keep all my data... Does UnRAID support running Applications such as, Plex, UTorrent, Sonarr, Radarr, SABnzbd, Jacket, PlexPY, NextCloud? Does UnRaid Support online back up solutions like Blackblaze? - If not blackblaze any other online back up solution? Many Thanks -Jonathan
