  1. Mostly because the transfer rate is in the 30mb/s range and i wanted to eventually use the duplicati docker to back up the unraid shares.
  2. Hi all. Can't tell if I'm doing this correctly, but I'm trying to mount my download folder on my windows10 machine in unraid so I can transfer files between the 2 machines. I've been able to map the unraid shares in win10 using "add network location", but having no luck mapping win10 from unraid. I"m using the "add remote smb/nfs" share, I click the "search for servers in workgroup" but nothing comes up. I've tried the IP address and computer name, but can't make a connection. I've also tried using the network connection in Krusader, I can seem to connect, but it asks for a user name/password over and over. Thoughts?
  3. Heh now i feel stupid. The container path in the Krusader docker was "/media" i guess I just named it as suggested by the docker. Thanks all for help!
  4. Sorry, I should have mentioned I"m looking at the file structure using the Krusader Docker. All the other posts I read people say their shares are mapped to /mnt, but mine's empty, just wanted to make sure I won't run into problems in the future...
  5. Hi all, spent the past few days messing around with Unraid and loving it so far. I do have a couple newbie questions that I can't find answers to: When adding a parity drive to the array does it matter what format the drive is in? If the drive has data on it what happens to it? Should I be concerned my root\mnt folder is empty.? The cache, disks, user, and user0 folders are under root\media, which I didn't created and isn't listed in user shares. What happens if you accidentally copy files from user/movies to user0/movies?
  6. Solution!! Set "Legacy USB" to disable, in CSM change all to UEFI first. Boots like a champ. Thanks!
  7. Here's the screen shots of my bios pages. I've noticed when I set the boot priority to "UEFI Sandisk" the computer goes right to the bios screen, if I set to "Sandisk" it posts, then blank screen.
  8. Yea i set what i could. I'll post the full settings later to see if you guys see something i missed.
  9. Been trying a different bios settings, usb drives fat32 and fat for 3 hours now, nothing works. Should I accept the fact that unraid doesn't work with the H87iplus?
  10. Hi all, first time user here. Currently using win10 and plex to stream to rokus around the house. I have to expand my storage and build in some redundancy so I figured I'd give Unraid a shot. So far I've created the boot USB drive using the "getting started" instructions. Its a 32gb sandisk cruzer fit. Unraid boots fine in my main gaming rig, but will not boot up in the media box; the screen is just blank. Media Box is running ASUS H87Iplus - Bios v 2003 11/05/2014, with i5-4670 onboard gpu. Things I've tried: A different 2gb usb drive (again boots fine in gaming machine) Fast boot: on/off Multiple USB ports 3.0/2.0 UEFI: on/off Mass Storage - Forced FDD/Auto There's other settings in the bios related to USB (USB legacy support, Intel xHCI, EHCI hand-off) but I'm not sure what they do... Any help is appreciated!
