  1. So, it was mentioned in the podcast a few weeks ago that unraid 7 should be better supporting zfs pools with multiple arrays and adding single disks etc. I am in the processing upgrading hardware now, moving to a 48 disk setup and was wondering how to best position the setup to allow for enabling those features in the future. My goal is to have pools to take advantage of the pooled drive speeds and have some redundancy with the ability to add drives individually later on down the line. What do you all think that the best path forward is for someone looking ahead and has a large amount of disks that could provide the best bandwidth from the drives. (Sas3 10tb drives) Thanks, Chris
  2. I Think i am having the same issue here as this.
  3. i've included a screenshot and the syslog for reference. ferranteapp1-syslog-20220606-0200.zip
  4. I am not sure what is happening, but here are the symptoms. I have mounted 2 SMB shares to a windows server 2022 box and have them mapped in docker containers as r/w slave as suggested.. for some reason, the mounts malfunction and the plugin shows 0tb on the mounts but shows as mounted in the UI. This has been continuing to happen more and more.. and I cant figure out a reason.. any help would be great!
  5. After the latest update I had the same problem with the mounts - but after recreating i am now getting some mounts not automounting and the option is checked - any ideas? logs show that these mounts are offline when they are not. especially when the same server is hosting multiple shares, and some auto mount and others don’t.
  6. ok rebooting worked on the synology share.. it didn't before - but here are the diags.. ferranteapp1-diagnostics-20201204-2252.zip
  7. did - same thing.. it will auto mount - not work properly and then will not let me unmount, i have to stop auto mount to be able to remove it. i mean I'll try it again.
  8. it will not let me unmount - I get this error.. Dec 4 22:28:30 FERRANTEAPP1 unassigned.devices: Mount SMB share '//MEDIAVAULT/Media' using SMB default protocol. Dec 4 22:28:30 FERRANTEAPP1 unassigned.devices: Mount SMB command: /sbin/mount -t cifs -o rw,nounix,iocharset=utf8,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777,uid=99,gid=100,credentials='/tmp/unassigned.devices/credentials_Media' '//MEDIAVAULT/Media' '/mnt/remotes/MEDIAVAULT_Media' Dec 4 22:28:30 FERRANTEAPP1 kernel: CIFS: Attempting to mount //MEDIAVAULT/Media Dec 4 22:28:30 FERRANTEAPP1 unassigned.devices: Successfully mounted '//MEDIAVAULT/Media' on '/mnt/remotes/MEDIAVAULT_Media'. Dec 4 22:28:30 FERRANTEAPP1 unassigned.devices: Adding SMB share 'MEDIAVAULT_Media'. Dec 4 22:28:38 FERRANTEAPP1 unassigned.devices: Removing Remote SMB/NFS share '//MEDIAVAULT/Media'... Dec 4 22:28:38 FERRANTEAPP1 unassigned.devices: Unmounting Remote SMB/NFS Share '//MEDIAVAULT/Media'... Dec 4 22:28:38 FERRANTEAPP1 unassigned.devices: Cannot unmount '//MEDIAVAULT/Media'. UD did not mount the device. I also recreated the mounts inside the ui and it did not work - still get the same thing.
  9. sure its unraid 6.9.0-beta 35 - there are folders in the directories, i had to recreate the shares with different names on the windows server shares for them to appear, but I can not for the synology shares that I am trying to also connect to. This worked on the previous version.
