New Array Build looking ahead to Unraid 7
So, it was mentioned in the podcast a few weeks ago that unraid 7 should be better supporting zfs pools with multiple arrays and adding single disks etc. I am in the processing upgrading hardware now, moving to a 48 disk setup and was wondering how to best position the setup to allow for enabling those features in the future. My goal is to have pools to take advantage of the pooled drive speeds and have some redundancy with the ability to add drives individually later on down the line. What do you all think that the best path forward is for someone looking ahead and has a large amount of disks that could provide the best bandwidth from the drives. (Sas3 10tb drives) Thanks, Chris

Unassigned Devices - Managing Disk Drives and Remote Shares Outside of The Unraid Array
I am not sure what is happening, but here are the symptoms. I have mounted 2 SMB shares to a windows server 2022 box and have them mapped in docker containers as r/w slave as suggested.. for some reason, the mounts malfunction and the plugin shows 0tb on the mounts but shows as mounted in the UI. This has been continuing to happen more and more.. and I cant figure out a reason.. any help would be great!

Unassigned Devices - Managing Disk Drives and Remote Shares Outside of The Unraid Array
After the latest update I had the same problem with the mounts - but after recreating i am now getting some mounts not automounting and the option is checked - any ideas? logs show that these mounts are offline when they are not. especially when the same server is hosting multiple shares, and some auto mount and others don’t.

is there a way to roll back to the last version?

Unassigned Devices - Managing Disk Drives and Remote Shares Outside of The Unraid Array
sure its unraid 6.9.0-beta 35 - there are folders in the directories, i had to recreate the shares with different names on the windows server shares for them to appear, but I can not for the synology shares that I am trying to also connect to. This worked on the previous version.

not sure what is going on but existing SMB mounts are mounting with just some directory listings - showing 1.5mb in the disk space bar and files are not appearing - after the latest update.

I am not sure if this was asked, but would it be possible to integrate mounting remote SSH shares into UD? That would go along way to make things easier for those that are using sonarr and radarr and I think would be really helpful. Thanks!

Tower cases with 5.25" drive bays top to bottom...
So I happened to own a thermaltake armor case from years ago that i based a build off of... I’ve since moved upward but here is a shot of it. I’m using an icy dock for the SSD cache and the rosewill hot swap 4x3 bays.
