Hi all
For past 48 hours one out of 4 discs dont spin down.
I use open files plugin and nothing is using that disk.
Only cache disk is in use.
Any suggestions?

if you got no issues and install this plugin will it cause any harm?

Anyone else have issue with the app not detecting release candidate firmware updates?
I enabled the release candidate option and signed into my Unifi account but it wont show any release candidate firmware and drop down only shows official channel under updates.

I am using it in this exact scenario as well. Unraid lives on my main LAN and any device on my main LAN can hit the containers. Any device on a different subnet is a no go. As a test I made sure nothing was blocked between VLANS with the same issues, explicitly wrote allow rules, tried adding routes etc with no success.
I use a commerical provider that supports port forwarding and run Emby behind that over the tunnel. Absolutley hate having to put the firesticks etc on the main network to be able to access Emby locally.
I wasted most of my day setting up a VPN client on my UDMP, enabling VLANs in Unraid and assigning the containers to a VLAN, just to realize Unifi doesn't support forwarding on the interface. Saw a forum post on modifying the IP tables on the UDMP and tried that, even if it worked, they don't persist after a reboot.
It sounds like you abandoned the built in Unraid wireguard tunnel in favor of a container. Are you able to access your resources properly now?
yup everything works

The syslog in the diagnostics is the RAM copy that only shows what has happened since the last boot. To get one that survives a reboot and can show what happened leading up to a crash you need to have enabled the syslog server.
oh damn
ok will enable that and if it happens again will post log

checked my idrac and a system/kernel panic was detected so had to reboot to regain access.

was not network issue
not sure what it was but what fixed it was disable docker and then clean reboot and re enable docker

If it's in RAID mode it should be flashed to IT mode.
Okay thanks
Will attempt to flash it to HBA330 fw

Hello
So I bought a refurbished dell t330 with h330 raid controller.
I seen posts from 2019 about having to flash it to IT firmware. Is this still required?
Thanks

I think so. I’ve been using Unraid every day since that post and it works perfectly 😊
thanks
did you need to change any settings in BIOS to make unraid work?
im thinking of getting a refurb unit off ebay as can get one for £150
-
old topic but was the h330 controller made to work on unraid?
-
Hello
Had a brief power cut (yes will be investing in UPS soon) and after Unraid came back up my docker containers are messed up.
Most of them do not start and when I press start nothing happens and no error. Even ones that are started you cant stop or restart them.
I tried stopping and starting docker service and then done clean reboot and nothing helped.
Only errors I see in log is some containers say cant connect to network that does not exist which is my vpn container which does exist.
Attached are diagnostics.
Thanks

hello
anyone else have strange issue with privoxy last few days. I can now no longer view any videos on browser via privoxy on most sites. Youtube works but for example titter videos dont. the spinning buffering sign just stays there and it never starts. Its not vpn issue as connecting to vpn on same endpoint without privoxy and i can view all videos without issues.
