Combining Share/Creating new parent directory
Hey Guys, I want to restructure my share folders, when I started out I had seperate ones for movies/pictures etc and I would like to combine them all under a "data" share and then use subfolders within that. I am struggling to find answers for what the best way to do this would be? I have searched the forums and also googled it. I read someone say it can be done through enabling disk share but I am not sure how exactly. Any help is appreciated! Thanks Guys.

Starting Array/Services and GUI So SLOW
Unfortunately I didn't realise it wasn't backing up. It only seems to be a handful of apps I will attempt to reinstall them.

Starting Array/Services and GUI So SLOW
A few people in the Reddit group. They kept saying they thought my drive would fail before parity was built and id loose all the data so was better of trying to use unbalanced and copy all the data, then ad parity and then remove and replace drive but it didn't fail it worked fine. I have attached diagnostics. Thanks again. tower-diagnostics-20220818-0628.zip

Starting Array/Services and GUI So SLOW
Hello and Thanks in Advance I recently added a new drive into my array, copied the content from another drive that was failing onto the new drive, replaced the failing one. Let the parity rebuild onto the new drive and have now since reformatted the new drive as I don't need the duplicated drive. I did it this way because i got told to do it this way (haha) My server gui has since reformatting become super slow, I tried to reboot and it took about 15 minutes. It took 40 minutes to mount the drives. I only have 5 with a total of 2 x 8TB, 2x 1TB, 1 x 4TB and an 8TB Parity. It has now been well over an hour and a half and I am still waiting for services to start. I have posted the syslogs and can post anything else if need be! https://pastebin.com/a3E6ah20

Corrupt Filesystem - No Parity Drive
Okay Scrap that, I just read the report when looking at the Smart Report under the Disks Settings. That makes a lot more sense.. I was downloading the smart report and reading it.

Corrupt Filesystem - No Parity Drive
I have seen it before, I was under the impression/told that it was not a serious issue. Obviously I was ill informed. I have reread the understanding SMARTS Report but am still not sure whats wrong with it. Is there a better resource I should read? Thank you all for your help I really appreciate it I have ordered another 2 x 8TB drives. I will set up a parity and a replace the drive!

so this is what it just said. Maximum metadata LSN (94:2917987) is ahead of log (1:2). Format log to cycle 97. done is it fixed?

Corrupt Filesystem - No Parity Drive
I just attempted that and it has said this. I started the array in maintance mode? root@Tower:~# xfs_repair -v /dev/md4 Phase 1 - find and verify superblock... - block cache size set to 699752 entries Phase 2 - using internal log - zero log... zero_log: head block 2918059 tail block 2918024 ERROR: The filesystem has valuable metadata changes in a log which needs to be replayed. Mount the filesystem to replay the log, and unmount it before re-running xfs_repair. If you are unable to mount the filesystem, then use the -L option to destroy the log and attempt a repair. Note that destroying the log may cause corruption -- please attempt a mount of the filesystem before doing this.

Corrupt Filesystem - No Parity Drive
Hey There, My Current Unraid set up was working beautifully and I was about to upgrade and add a parity drive. *Always the way* One of my 8TB HDD seems to have a corrupt fileystem. I have tried running a XPS Repair and it has said couldnt find valid secondary superblock. This is my first time posting, I am not sure what information you will need to better assist me. so Appolagies in advance. I have ordered a parity drive and a replacement 8TB HDD. My questions are is there anyway I can I fix this and if not can I save the files. It also happens to be my largest HDD...
