Well, it is true that it needs to be better. I didn't know you were in charge of marketing and I'm pretty sure your signature is recent.
That being said, I will stick around until the change are in place. It is really nice seeing that you don't need my money and really want me to leave. It is people like me that bring new cash in the pipeline when I refer a friend, that refer a friend and that refer a friend. Multiply that per 2-3-4-5-6.. and it makes a lot of money. But that won't happen again and I'm pretty sure it will be the same with more people.
Anyway, why changing the subject ? It's all about the subscription model (or the annual update purchase, whatever you call it). There is no roadmap from LT. Why someone will pay for a year of update if there is only 1-2 updates during that year ? Why someone will continuously pay when there is no roadmap and date on new features or list of bugfixes ? That's why it needs to have deadlines.
Like I said and others too, there is other ways to do money instead. If you prefer to have less customer with that pricing model, then it's your choice. Ultimately, this will lead customer to the exit.
Lifetime licenses are not sustainable.
But I do agree that update roadmap will need to be less opaque to allow users to see what they are paying for. This is going from an enthusiast platform to a commercial endeavor and that comes with more responsibility.
That said, pricing is reasonable and extensions are 39/year which is not very much, you buy hundreds of dollars of hard drives, and server hardware, and don't have 39/year to support the software? Change is hard but imo this is a good step. Also this literally affects none of us, we are all legacy, so Im not sure why anyone's complaining.

Ultimately don't care what LT does but I have to say, subscription makes a lot more sense than current model. From a business standpoint I have always questioned the current model, 1 time purchases are never profitable. The 80 or whatever I paid for my license is not going to sustain the business. They HAVE to come up with a value proposition that includes a paid model, and this may or may not be the ticket, we will see. It's a good start though. I hate subscriptions as much as the next person but everyone has support contracts, think of it as a support contract. All that said, the bar will need raised to make the residual sub worth it for people.
TLDR; Residual income is needed to keep LT afloat, this is probably a great plan

I honestly don't know what the problem was... I changed the "Hide outdated applications" setting back from no to yes, and then I found the new appdata backup plugin... But I don't really think that was the problem...
Nevertheless, everything fine now!
Not just you, this was delisted for some time seems to be resolved now though.

I have a motherboard with a NCT6799D-R sensor chip, supposedly in the latest 6* kernel but no luck. Does not load in sensors or sensors-detect, and no temp sensors show up. NCT6687 driver was installed as a plugin but that does not work. NCT6799D-R has a driver but it does not appear unraid uses it, what can I do? Modern AM5 boards use this chip (at least ASUS).
edit. Per this, it’s not in fully until Linux kernel 6.5.

Any chance we can get this?

The old LSIO Unifi Controller docker is being deprecated and replaced by the Unifi Network App docker which requires a separate instance of MariaDB for the database. This docker is another Unifi Controller docker which will avoid the need for two dockers.
Thank you! Yea that makes sense, why spin up a mongo instance just for this. Thank you for the explanation, that’s helpful.

I see 3 unifi controllers in the App Store, the official one that's being discontinued, a new one using a new DB, and this one, what's the difference in this one? What's different here vs official? Thanks!

FYI for anyone searching for this, after RC3, docker has a new "directories" mode that creates a zfs dataset per container. This creates many snapshots, and ZFS Master takes a solid 2-3 minutes to load. Go into settings, and in management settings, select Dashboard instead of Main on log in or you will hang for a long time at first log in. I tested with baseline 350 snapshots (1 per docker dependency) and it was still super slow, I had 8000 snapshots last night and it just hard crashed and wouldn't let me log in to the GUI. I asked in the RC3 thread how to disable snapshots on 1 dataset as disabling them on the docker set should help with this issue.

Im seeing this error when navigating to folders in 6.12-RC2
Mar 31 09:12:28 Unraid nginx: 2023/03/31 09:12:28 [error] 8110#8110: *2809 open() "/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.file.manager/javascript/ace/mode-log.js" failed (2: No such file or directory) while sending to client, client: ip, server: , request: "GET /plugins/dynamix.file.manager/javascript/ace/mode-log.js HTTP/1.1", host: "ip", referrer: "http://ip/Shares/Browse?dir=%2Fmnt%2Fuser%2Fbackups%2Fappdata%2F2023-03-31%4002.00"
I go to "Shares", click to navigate "Backups" then "appdata" and that does work but the log produces this error. Assuming it can be ignored as everything works, but I didnt see anyone else posting something like it so thought I would post it.

FYI kiwix docker was deleted, the app in CA no longer functions.
Edit: the new repo would be:
ghcr.io/kiwix/kiwix-serve:latest

Mine is working just fine. I suspect this is a problem local to you.
On a brand new install? OK, that's 1 way to look at it. Lets go with that then I'll call it my fault until its updated. Appreciate the help!

You will need to run
```
znapzend --daemonize
```
```
touch /boot/config/plugins/unRAID6-ZnapZend/auto_boot_on
```Then reboot. That should fix it. To test run the
```
znapzend --daemonize
```command again after reboot and it should tell you it’s already running.
It seems auto_boot_on doesn't autostart it as I had that, maybe ill just use user scripts to run znapzend --daemonize at boot
Edit: I added it to array startup via user script and it works!

That being said, ignoring the PHP errors (which aren't an issue) the plugin does work fine
FYI for anyone wondering, it does not work at all, I tested with a clean setup and it won't let you set it up

Thanks for pointing this out, no mine isn't working either, timestamps stopped at time of upgrade. So you're saying if I go an start it, it will then just snap everything every hour? That's weird.
No it will run once but then not run again
-
Does this work for anyone on 6.12? I got it to run once after setup but it doesn’t run automatically, I set the service to start at boot and have a from for every hour.
-
Just an FYI this is marked as incompatible with Unraid 6.12

That's the disk log in the preclear plugin. This will be fixed in the next release of the preclear pliugin. In the meantime, use the UD page disk log.
Awesome, figured Id throw it out there since I didn't see anything recent on the forums Much appreciated.
-
version="6.11.5"
Im running pre-clear from the plugin, and clicking the disk log on the pre-clear page, under "Identification" beside the disk, not the pre-clear log, but the actual disk log.

Post diagnostics.
Here you go...It's a test server for playing with ZFS, so its not running the array currently.

The disk log routine was changed in 6.10 so it fails because UD is still using the 6.9 disk log routine. This is fixed in the next release of UD.
I am still getting this with the latest UD in Unraid 6.11.5 by the way...
invalid cmd: /webGui/scripts/disk_log

I probably did something dumb here but I had to reinstall ABS from scratch and I can't get sockets working with default swag reverse proxy.

I did the suggestion earlier in the thread with the same results. It works fine by IP address. I have a custom IP I use (macvlan) and this was working ~a month ago or so. Any help would be great!

So you believe both LUKS headers got corrupted simulateously?
Have you tried a backup copy of the keyfile?
Yes I have it in a private git repo that I call on startup to unlock, so its versioned and is the same. I also had a backup on a private cloud that also didn't work. Very odd but I'm assuming the simplest answer is ram issue or hardware issue, perhaps a controller is going bad, the board is pretty old, and its a gigabyte consumer board meaning anything possible

If you have both a data drive and a cache drive, and both stopped being openable with your keyfile at the very same time, - I'd bet your key slots are fine. Chances are, either (a) you have some cabling issue or controller issue, or (b) something happened to the keyfile (have you backed it up? Perhaps use a backup copy).
I'd put lower chances on (c) someone did change the key on your drives or (d) some malware played nasty games with your LUKS headers.
Another thing - have you run "memtest" recently?
I thought memory (even though its relatively new ram...) but I pulled the drives, mounted them on a different server and attempted the unlock with the same results, so I have ruled out hardware (minus anything hardware related that might have done this)
