Hi all, after some Network-Issues and faulty Copies I got a lot of 0-Byte Files in my storage array, leftovers from stalled copyings. How can I find and delete them in UnRaid? And how can I run Checkdisc or something like that? Thanks for Hints!

Ich muss das Thema leider nochmal hoch holen, weil das Problem immer noch ungelöst ist. Um andere Verursacher auszuschliessen, habe ich meine Fritz!Box neuinstalliert, UnRaid eine neue LAN-IP zugewiesen (static), von frisch installierten Systemen getestet (MacOS 12.6/W11 2h22), der Fehler ist reproduzierbar, und nach der IP-Änderung komme ich nun gar nicht mehr auf meinen Server in die WebGui. Selbst UnRaid im Safemode macht die gleiche Adressumwandlung von lokaler IP zu Unraid.net IP (welche nicht erreichbar ist). Ich habe die Hilfe durchsucht, aber gerade der Punkt "Stored Credenzials" ist leider leer. Im Verlauf der Fehlersuche fiel mir auf, dass selbst nach einer IP-Änderung immer noch die gleiche, vorherige (UnRaid.net-IP, s.o.) aufgelöst wird. Eine manuelle Änderung bringt besagten 404. Ich bin echt ratlos, und möchte eigentlich nur alle Caches von UnRaid gelöscht haben, nur wie? Proxies in meinem LAN gibt es keine, PiHole auf nem Raspi habe ich für die Test abgestellt Any Ideas???

Danke für die Info @Revan335und @mgutt, hatte ich damals mitbekommen, aber nicht mehr auf dem Zettel. Ich brauche den Rechner nicht permanent online, wird runtergefahren ansonsten, deshalb sehe ich das Risiko als überschaubar an. Zweck der Übung war einfach, dass ich das Gerät vorführen kann ausser Haus. VPN über mein Handy funktionierte zuletzt leider sehr grottig, aber werde ich auch nochmal austesten. Mein aktuelles Problem ist aber die veränderte IP-Adresse, direkt per IP geht auch im Lan kein Zugriff mehr. Was funktioniert ist https://192-168-xxx-2xx.7eaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.myunraid.net Die vorherige Adresse lautete https://7eaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.unraid.net Ist das nur bei mir so? Edit: Die IP wurde auch schon vorher wie im obigen, 2. Beispiel aufgelöst, und wird auch so (die alte, nun falsche) von der Fritzbox bei einer Weiterleitung mitgegeben, lande also auf der besagten 404 Fehlerseite. Wüsste nicht, wie ich da was ändern könnte, damit die FB auf die neue umleitet, da wäre ich ja auch zufrieden mit

Ich möchte über HTTPS von unterwegs auf meinen Server zugreifen. Leider bekomme ich aktuell nach der Weiterleitung von der Fritzbox immer noch einen 404 Fehler. Das Problem ist also nicht gelöst, und der Grund für die veränderte URL mir nach wie vor unklar.

Hallo ich habe nach einem Renew des LetsEncrypt Zertifikates keinen Zugriff mir über die Weboberfläche. Mit GUI starten geht noch, aber wie krieg ich das fehlerhafte Zert raus? Thanks for your reply Do you mean Safe Mode in OSX? Or Maintanaince Mode in unRAID? I will deinstall Nerdpack and test, thx. That's the Question, I startet a New Config to do so carefully, but all the old apps appear as installed. Thinking about starting fresh from scratch, but how is that done?

Hello i can repeatetly get the same result, when I copy a VM-Disk to my unRAID Version: 6.10.0-rc2 Then the Log gets wild, and fills up in about 10min Apprechiate any Hint, I spend a lot of time trying different changes of Hardware. Moving from a Celeron G4xxx CPU on a B250 Board to a HP N54L with 16gb RAM didn´t change the issue. I did ask here before, but cannot find the posting, thats why my new try here Thanks in Advance Edit: I would like to start over afresh, tried new configuration, but there seem to be some Leftovers from the prior System, how can I do this absolutly clean? Can the SSD be the issue? Maybe Cache ist full with this 37gb File? Hello first I wish all the Forum a wonderful start into 2022👍 I am having a strange Issue with connecting with an iMac to the Unraid Server running 6.10.0-rc2 Whenever I copy larg Amounts of Data from my iMac to my Server, it goes a While and stalls then. When i have Syslog open, I can see, as it is filling up 100% of Logspace in Minutes. The Connection droppes then after a while. Also the Connection from the iMac through the Browser (WebIF) appears sluggish and times out occasionally. That brings me to my first Question: Can I configure the Size and Place of the Logspace somehow? I have nearly 1g of 16 used on my Stick, but would rather have them on my Cache SSD, Place is not an Issue there, too. That brings me to my second Question: My 1TB Cache-SSD with appdata, domains, isos and system on it use 411gb, not even half the place But when I send more than about 40gb it says Cache Disk full in the Logs, and writes from then on directly to the Array. I Had it deleted and filled afresh, no change. Before I have used a 500gb SSD, is it possible, that somewhere under the hood there is this old size saved and acts as a Limit? I add diagnostic Files from when Logspace has run full (1619), and after the Restart(1625), which I actually do to empty that space. Edit: The problem with the Logs happened till now only, when i Copy from the iMac. I have a Macbook Pro, where this doesn´t happen. Hello, I am new to Calibre, and I would like to know, if and if then how I can use Calibre without importing the files itself. I have a (partly) well managed E-Book Collection of 480gb, which I want to stay. Calibre should only manage the Access and its Metadata. How am I starting to achieve this? Didn't find it here or in the RTFM, if I missed it, please point me to the according docs, thanks in advance. I am adding my Config here: When I want to change the place of the library, it does not see my Array, as I understand it is looking in the docker.img only. It puts its Files in /import/-Calibre-/ instead of /mnt/disk1/Array/BookServ/-Calibre-/

Thank you for this, it will surely help when I can log in again. My Paritydrive is an external USB Drive. If I unplug that for Registration, I should be able to put it back on, without new parity check, right? Since there is not much changing on the server, I suspend new parity checks atm.

Thanks @Squid I guess so, too, since yesterday I didn´t get even to the login Screen, the Popup just loaded endlessly. Bad for me, that I can't start the Array again because of Trial endet. Maybe I may add a question in regard to licensing: Actually I have one HDD too much for my wanted Basic License. What would happen, if I try to activate a 7 HDD Server with a 6 HDD License? Unluckily its the first of 6 in the Array, which I want to remove. How do I best get that HDD out of the system, since al Files are already copied?

On the Registration Page there is an error that I am not logged in to unraid.net. When I want to log in, my mailadress and password (even when freshly changed) is not accepted. I need an extension for my trial, since I have to remove 1 HDD from my Server to meet the 6 HDDs Limit, and I have to use a different USB-Stick, since the actual one makes Problems.
