  2. Amazon fire TV stick, Plex and Emby clients, and side loaded with kodi. Unless you need 5.1 audio, it handles everything.
  3. Sorry to be a bother, but is there a planned schedule of updates to the mylar docker. Presently showing 25 commits behind. Also, does anyone metatagging via comictagger with this docker. Thanks,
  4. Just ran into this problem, any thoughts? docker run --name="handbrake" -d -v /mnt/user:/files -v /etc/localtime:/etc/localtime:ro pinion/docker-handbrake-cli FATA[0000] Error response from daemon: Conflict, The name handbrake is already assigned to 46e4cadf6805. You have to delete (or rename) that container to be able to assign handbrake to a container again.
  5. Been running both on unraid for months. Right now Plex is a little bit ahead in some features like sync on android and is on more devices. MB (Emby) is catching up though and its open source. They both work great so its really a matter of preference.
  6. Thanks for the prompt reply Squid, I looked at at jonp's post regarding the ubuntu-rdp-docker and tried it . Appears that at present the docker by default doesn't have access to any repos. sudo apt-get install mc gives "unable to locate package mc". Will read up on docker exec to see how that pans out.
  7. I am not familiar with docker and was wondering if anyone has tried handbrake-cli docker. I've taken the following steps, but not sure where to go from here or if this is feasible to use cli tools in an unRAID docker container. Any help or direction would be appreciated. Previously had handbrake-cli working in unraid 5.05 with manually installed packages until conflict occurred with dynamix. 1. used docker search plugin to locate and convert handbrake-cli at https://registry.hub.docker.com/u/pandrew/handbrake 2. edited docker volume mappings /hbencode /mnt/cache/files/hb/ 3. started docker 4. log as follows: /usr/bin/docker logs --tail=350 -f handbrake 2>&1 If "number" is omitted, the first track is default. "number" is an index into the subtitle list specified with '--subtitle'. -N, --native-language Specifiy your language preference. When the first audio track does not match your native language then select the first subtitle that does. When used in conjunction with --native-dub the audio track is changed in preference to subtitles. Provide the language's iso639-2 code (fre, eng, spa, dut, et cetera) --native-dub Used in conjunction with --native-language requests that if no audio tracks are selected the default selected audio track will be the first one that matches the --native-language. If there are no matching audio tracks then the first matching subtitle track is used instead. --srt-file SubRip SRT filename(s), separated by commas. --srt-codeset Character codeset(s) that the SRT file(s) are encoded in, separated by commas. Use 'iconv -l' for a list of valid codesets. If not specified, 'latin1' is assumed --srt-offset Offset (in milliseconds) to apply to the SRT file(s), separated by commas. If not specified, zero is assumed. Offsets may be negative. --srt-lang Language as an iso639-2 code fra, eng, spa et cetera) for the SRT file(s), separated by commas. If not specified, then 'und' is used. --srt-default Flag the selected srt as the default subtitle to be displayed upon playback. Setting no default means no subtitle will be automatically displayed If "number" is omitted, the first srt is default. "number" is an 1 based index into the srt-file list --srt-burn "Burn" the selected srt subtitle into the video track If "number" is omitted, the first srt is burned. "number" is an 1 based index into the srt-file list thanks
  8. Any chance for an update to this docker. pop-up states 53 commits behind?
  9. Can this script be used/modified for a Highpoint Rocket 640L. From the datasheet it uses a Marvel 88SE9235 Chipset. I have tested it on my unraid box runnning 5rc8a Pro and the drives are recognized fine but scores of errors begin before a parity check is 10% done. I understand this question was asked here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=20197.msg181292#msg181292 but the card/chipset/PC ID are not listed under the supported devices? I have tried installing it as directed and modified the go script according to the directions but the same problem persists.
  10. Another AMD Esxi 5 build attempt, Just received a new Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 board. Have been testing out with esxi 5.1 and unraid 5.0rc8a. Based on info in the forums have gotten all drives recognized via raw device mapping but with no spindown or temperature readings. Been doing ALOT of reading to the point of saturation but there seems to be comparatively little documentation of amd systems My questions: Is this the norm using RDM? Can any of the mobo onboard sata ports be utilized for normal unraid operation or is it necessary to use an addon card like the M1015? Can any of the mobo devices recognized by esxi be passed through? thanks
  11. Thank you very much for your prompt assistance. I don't have a pre-cleared spare laying around. I That would have definitely been optimal. :'( hmm I did start the array briefly with the drive disabled and was able to access the data. Presently I have the server shutdown. just in case. sorry results pasted were not complete was just looking at the results when I had pre-cleared it a month ago and it definitely looks troubling Raw_Read_Error_Rate 514->1009 current pending sectors: from 4->51 Offline_Uncorrectable: 0->51 Multi_Zone_Error_Rate: 0->51 Is this worth further testing or should I just RMA it now. I have until 03/25/2013. thank you again for your assistance smart.txt preclear_finish__WD-WMAVU2279913_2012-06-27.txt preclear_rpt__WD-WMAVU2279913_2012-06-27.txt
  12. running unraid 5b14 recently got ALOT of errors during parity check I believe I shut down, reset power and sata cables. Started back and 2 drives red balled. One unformatted and one showing up as wrong drive I shut down again swapped out the sata cables, and unplugged the cache drive. Started up again and one disk is still disabled. Ran short and long smartctl test on the drive Can anyone help in interpreting the results. Have read up on it but don't have a background in IT so....
