  1. History disagrees. The first thing he did with it was send a message with an agenda...He wants everyone to know that the COVID-19 problem can be helped even just slightly by running algorithms for non-profits. This should be used for CA information only... What he did doesn't make him a bad guy, In fact his concern and tribute to what is happening in the world today is amazing... I just don't want it injected into MY Unraid server without consent. & I promise you, I will never consent... I love that we got moved to a new post and are discussing it but please... Hoopster... "Get off my lawn"
  2. I agree with this. There should be a standard agreed on by the developers and the community at large. Discussion is key here. If CA did this now (my first experience with this in Unraid) where does it end? Do we start telling people about religions? Presidential candidates?
  3. THIS is NOT how you go about discussing a subject of this importance. Just because 800 people joined the program does NOT mean they personally feel it is okay for CA to do this. Now or ever! Your post is a problem and I'm all for toxicity however I paid for Unraid and would like not to be bothered by an agenda on my own hardware. Even if I do donate my hardware to the cause using those projects I won't do it with the "Unraid Team" if this is how CA conducts in the future. You can dismiss alael, myself, and others... But doing so is not going to help the community. We're not a fringe group on the edge of political dissidence, we believe in "our hardware, our right".
  4. I appreciate the work that Squid does and all the developers that work on Unraid/the community applications. I purchased Unraid multiple times and will continue to do so, however I'd like to take a civil approach to asking that any developer realize this is not okay. I am all for donating and giving time to organizations but that's my decision. I would never ask and have never asked in anything I've distributed for free or paid for something like this. I think this is irresponsible and a blatant disrespect of the community. I feel a much more appropriate tone would have been a post just in the forums or an email even. Instead we are invaded by messages that should not be. I didn't bring politics or ethics into the equation. I expect the developers of Unraid/CA respect that my server is a business and the forums are the community.
  5. Ok... So basically it was because I was trying to use 2387 on the app... Thanks so much! Edit: I now have both of my servers up and running again and with ControlR as well. Thanks a bunch! love the software.
  6. Hello, I used this late last year on another server that is currently down. (it worked perfectly before) I am now building a new server with the latest build of Unraid (6.8.2) and I'm having these exact problems as well. I use the Android App (latest version) My issue shares a lot of these problems with the error (1001) - Unable to get unRAID state (dockers): Get https://127.0.0.1/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerContainers.php: dial tcp 127.0.0.1:443: connect: connection refused I've done a lot of the troubleshooting you've already given jbrodriguez for others & I can't solve it so I'll give my problem and maybe it can help others/help you pinpoint what I'm doing wrong. The controlr plugin gives the above error when my unraid ssl is set to "auto" and only let's me log into the web app from my desktop browser when SSL is either set to "on" which I don't have a certificate for and as well as when I turn ssl off and run the command /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/controlr/controlr -port 2378 -showups without the certificate information. When I do these two things I can log into the webapp from my desktop browser and see my extra users/set permissions fine. As you can see here: https://imgur.com/a/dP6VIXK However no matter what happens the app never actually adds the server and always gives me this message when I turn on debug. https://imgur.com/a/vkhlGnR Unless I tick SSL on for the app and then it just never adds and endlessly tries to load. This is a fresh Unraid install, on a server I just built. It doesn't have any VPN's/proxies other than the binhex-qbittorent vpn docker and it has a NUT enabled UPS. I've disabled both of these and rebooted the server, it still does the exact same thing every time. I have tried using both the network ip and name both do the same thing. Thanks for any help! I love the app and is pretty amazing for the Unraid platform!
  7. Ok so I've done some troubleshooting if anyone is having the same issue and it seems anytime I turn the VPN on autodl-irssi doesn't turn on and if i turn it off it works just fine... Not sure why but will report back if I fix it. Edit: http://prntscr.com/mawkew is the vpn on and vpn off log.
  8. I think I know how to fix your issue, https://prnt.sc/m41qls - in your rutorrent settings you need to go to autotools and select the two check boxes "Add torrent's label to path" & "Add torrent's name to path" After doing so only new torrents will show the full path. Example: https://prnt.sc/m41tei
  9. Hello, I just installed rtorrentvpn and got it all setup. I'm trying to use autodl-irssi however it isn't connecting to ANY irc servers. I've done it on other rtorrent's with no problem. Any ideas on what would be causing this? I use PIA as my vpn and rtorrent is running just fine. No errors on autodl or rtorrent. Just doesn't try to connect to irc servers I set. Thanks for the container and any help! EDIT: I fixed the issue, it's not irssi, it's the irc server has banned VPN access. So to fix this, A workaround is use rtorrent and irssi to download ONLY watch files with VPN disabled. Then use Binhex's deluge or Qbittorrent docker to pick up said watch files and have VPN turned on with them.
