  1. I don't. Do you know offhand where the setting to disable this is?
  2. I am still getting an error in safe mode, after NerdPack was uninstalled. I've attached the safe mode diagnostic. tower-diagnostics-20200114-1045.zip
  3. I believe what stopped the plex overruns was an actual unRAID update, but it was quite a while ago, so I could be mistaken. I previously used the NerdPack modules, but I'm not at the moment. I'm going to uninstall the entire NerdPack plugin and reboot later today.
  4. I haven't tried safe mode yet. I increased the docker image size over a year ago due to plex filling the image. That finally stopped for me with an update about 6 months ago. I just added the cache a few months ago, and am gradually moving shares over to it. System is the next on the list to be moved.
  5. Diagnostics attached. tower-diagnostics-20200114-0904.zip
  6. I've been having some problems with my system recently, and am getting the same error constantly in my syslog. The error is Tower rsyslogd: action 'action 1' (module 'builtin:omfile') message lost, could not be processed. Check for additional error messages before this one. [v8.36.0 try http://www.rsyslog.com/e/2027 ] I'm currently on 6.6.7 (upgrading to 6.8 caused all of my containers to vanish), and am running a Ryzen based system. How do I narrow down what is causing this issue?
  7. I like the docker management interface, and community apps. I'd like to see a second pool supporting ZFS (and what that brings).
  8. Snapshots (For VMs and shares) would be huge. Right now it absolutely stops me from being able to recommend this to even a small business. iSCSI would be huge for me in a home scenario. Right now I run a VM on top of unRAID just to do iSCSI, which is an unnecessary pain. A secondary array that uses ZFS is again something I have to use a VM for at the moment, which I would love to see baked into unRAID natively.
  9. I tried to delete a 1tb backup file last night, and during the deletion, my box froze. I rebooted, and upon coming up, one of my unassigned devices is accessible via smb, but not NFS. This is my main vSphere datastore, so I need to find a way to bring it online. I've had this issue with unassigned devices before as well, where drives are accessible with smb but not nfs. Also, my System Log is full. Currently getting the following message when I try to access it. Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 132653088 bytes) in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/include/DefaultPageLayout.php(418) : eval()'d code on line 73 I was able to get in once before it filled, and it was spewing something related to io, and giving the following link: https://www.rsyslog.com/?s=error+2027 Edit: Typing this made me think of one more thing to try, which did bring the NFS share online. I turned off NFS on unassigned devices globally, and then back on. I'd still love to figure out the issue with the syslog error, if anyone has seen that before.
  10. Good to know. Thanks. I'll give it a try.
  11. I updated to 6.7.2 recently, and upon upgrading, my SQLlite issues appear to be better. I still have to run SQLlite containers off of the array, but at least they run. However, upgrading completely broken bonding for me. When my bond is enabled, I completely lose connectivity to my server. I unbonded my NICS, and have now connectivity, but that broke my VMs and Containers. I spent the last week reconfiguring, but ran into an issue now where I can use VMs, or containers, but not both. When I enabled bridging on my second NIC in order to create a network for my VMs, my containers all broke. I re-ip'd the containers, and most are online, but a few just won't come up. The common factor is that these all use Bridge type connectivity. Not all Bridge VMs have this issue, I've found 4 so far (Smokeping, LazyLibrarian, GitLab-CE, and QBittorrentVPN). Also, all of my containers are showing updates available, but when I hit update all, the update available icon never goes away, and the containers don't actually update. I did think about rolling back, when unfortunately when I go to the update OS page, the rollback option showing is also 6.7.2. Ideally I'd like to get my bonding working again, and hopefully in doing so, get my containers and VMs working. Any advice is appreciated.
  12. I recently attached a new SSD as a VM datastore, and will be using similar base OS for these. At work we use a SAN that deduplicates the base OS files, and saves us a ton of space. I know BTRFS supports some deduplication and compression, is this something I can do while using it in unRAID? This is an unassigned device, not part of the array or a cache drive.
  13. I can't reach the webgui of most of my containers. I'm getting errors like IOError: disk I/O error (Emby), Starting Plex Media Server showing repeatedly in the logs for Plex, at NzbDrone.Core.Datastore.DbFactory.CreateMain (System.String connectionString, NzbDrone.Core.Datastore.Migration.Framework.MigrationContext migrationContext) [0x0000b] in C:\projects\lidarr\src\NzbDrone.Core\Datastore\DbFactory.cs:117 is corrupt, restore from backup if available. See: https://github.com/Lidarr/Lidarr/wiki/FAQ#i-am-getting-an-error-database-disk-image-is-malformed for lidarr, sonarr, radarr, etc. I've tried adding some new containers to see if those work, and most do not. I currently only have 3 disks, with no cache. I've tried creating new appdata folders for these, and even put them on a new share, with no success. I also ran docker safe new permissions. I created appdata folders for these on an unassigned device, and the containers now work. I'd still like to fix this properly though, so the appdata is protected in the array.
  14. Lately my system has been locking up completely. UI isn't reachable, ip isn't pingable, etc. I've attached some log files. This happens about once per day, and seems to be random. Sometimes it occurs overnight, and earlier today it happened while the NAS was in use during a file transfer. tower-diagnostics-20181213-2000.zip
  15. It didn't fix the issue. Thanks though.
  16. Why is it that I can use the array as a datastore for ESXi, and run my Windows VMs on it with no issues, but I can't run VMs locally on the array? I don't have any independent drives, my only unassigned device is actually an a USB drive plugged into my router that I use for backups.
  17. I'll give that a try. Is dynamic memory a known issue for Windows VMs in unRAID?
  18. I've got in on the array, just like my Linux VMs. vDisk type is Sata. I didn't follow a specific guide. I've tried both.
  19. I recently created a Windows Server 2016 VM to serve as a secondary Domain Controller and DNS. I hadn't previously created any Windows VMs (I have an ESXi host I use for that), but this one is extremely slow, to the point of being unresponsive. My linux based VMs don't do this. I'm using SeaBios, Machine is set to i440fx-3.0, Memory is set to 4-8 GB, and it has 6 CPUs attached. Any suggestions for what to change?
  20. xfs_repair fixed it. It required the -l switch, but I'm back up and running. Thank you for your assistance.
  21. When you say repair the file system, what does that entail? The night before I had deleted quite a few old files. A week or so before I stopped using my unRAID as my ESXi storage, and migrated the VMs to local storage on the ESXi box. Other than that, I haven't really made any changes.
  22. Here is the full diagnostics file. tower-diagnostics-20181107-0902.zip
  23. I woke up to this error yesterday. I've rebooted my unRAID box, changed where the drive is plugged in (no longer in my SAS controller, now directly connected to motherboard), still no change. I've seen a few topics about this, but I'd rather not risk losing my data. I've attached my logs. Any ideas what is causing this? tower-syslog-20181107-0851.zip
  24. BTRFS is a non starter for me. Dedupe is really only good across the entire array. Unfortunately the way this is currently implemented just isn't useful for any situation I would ever use personally or professionally.
