  1. The issue with the docker not stopping still happened even after setting shared memory to 60. It took MUCH longer this time, but it still happened. Is there anything I can give you that will help? The container just says it's stopping and then nothing. I've had to delete the image quite a few times to fix this. Not difficult, but a pain. What can I do to help? Am I the only one that has this issue?
  2. Interestingly enough increasing shared memory seems to have solved my issue.
  3. Set it lower and had the same issue. It actually happened faster this time.
  4. I back up appdata every night which means my dockers are all stopped. For some reason this Zoneminder docker won't stop or let me remove it. I've deleted the docker image and redone everything multiple times without success. I used a new template that was put into CA, but it only worked for about a week before the issue came back. Nothing in the zoneminder logs tells me anything is necessarily wrong, but the docker is pretty much dead unless I start over...again.
  5. I got unraid just because of the features mentioned above. I've had a complete failure where I lost more than one disk at a time. Dual parity wasn't a thing yet and I lost hardly any data. All I had to do was restore from my backups and was back up and running very quickly. At that same time I had a Windows 2012 server that was independent of unraid doing all my downloading, DVR, plex, etc. It worked great, but dockers are so much better. That same server is now on a VM due to there not being a linux driver for my Hauppauge Colossus cards I use with my DVR software. I wouldn't dream of moving to something else. Have you looked at the FreeNAS forums? Not exactly the most friendly place. Well, not if you compare it to this community. Great communities like this keep me with products I already love and make me love them even more. Great products with crappy support are great, but annoying. Great products with great support are the ones that set the standard for everyone else. unRAID is one of those products.
  6. Keep in mind that the first gen range is getting older (still great, I have some) but that makes motherboards somewhat difficult to find depending on what you're looking for. I have zero issues with my intel S2600CP, but if it goes out, I'm toast unless I get a backup.
  7. This seems to be a good alternative to couchpotato, but I see that there is a new version of watcher, but it doesn't seem that this docker has been updated. Thanks for setting this docker up. Watcher is not ready for prime time, but I like where it is heading.
  8. I did pretty much everything you do now, but using a windows 7 server then windows 2012. Dockers (to me) are better/easier than installing the app on a windows box. They are more self contained and the way they are managed in unRAID makes dockers even better. I've had more than one drive fail (when there was only a single parity drive) and recovery was easy. I plugged every working drive into a PC and all my files were there. Minimal recover. Had I gone with "true" raid it would have taken 10x longer to get me back up and running. I actually have my windows 2012 server running as a VM on my unRAID box and it still works perfectly, but it doesn't have very much to do now that everything has been offloaded to unRAID.
  9. I've had disks show to be disabled randomly and it turned out they were losing power. Replacing the power supply resolved that issue for me.
  10. I set it to 60 and there is still an * instead of temp. Disk is spun up and SMART info is being read without issue. Anything else I can try?
  11. I've got the smart controller set so I know that's working. I'll try setting the interval and see if that works. Thanks.
  12. Thanks, but I have spin down turned off. I'm wondering if there is a delay that is making the web UI think the drive is spun down when it actually isn't. Could be the way the RAID card presents the drive. I've seen that issue mentioned in other threads, but have no clue if that could be the issue or not.
  13. Is this even possible? Did I miss a thread explaining how to do it? I guess I thought this might have been a somewhat common issue.
  14. Hey guys, I recently bought a 3ware controller used off ebay and it is working just fine with the exception of the main tab temp readings. I've read that the main tabreads SMART 190 and 194, but I'm getting all my smart info, but only * on the main tab. Is there a way for me to modify what the main tab shows for temp just for the drives on this controller?
  15. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but when you say "do not control the display of the disk temperature on the main page, this is done by emhttp" how would I go about getting the main screen or even the dashboard to show the disk temp? SMART is working perfectly on my 3ware card, but as you know, no temp is shown. The attributes 190 and 194 work perfectly though.
  16. Updated from 6.1.9 to 6.3.1 and all is well. I delayed my upgrade due to the changes in the way that the VMs work, but I did't actually have to do anything. It recognized my stub devices without any input. Pretty sweet. Had to rebuild my docker image, no biggie and was kind of expected with the new docker version. Thanks for all the hard work.
  17. Love this docker. The more I get used to it the better it gets. However, I'm having an issue with my options.xml that is stored in the container. I need that .xml to contain my secure key for my deadbolt and every time the docker updates it overwrites the file. Is there any way to direct the docker to look for it in the config folder?
  18. What HSF are you guys using with Dual CPU boards? I've got one of the intel S2600CP2J boards and the low profile HS with a fan mounted to the top works...but they still get pretty hot.
  19. If you want to even the playing field a bit lower the clockspeed of your i5 to match the xeon. That will give you a more comparable result. Plus, instead of a synthetic benchmark, try using a game with a built in benchmark. More than one if you can. That'll tell you more real world results than 3d mark.
  20. I've got the same board and I'm using pretty much the default BIOS settings (making sure all virtualization options are enabled). Case is a Norco 24 bay unit (RPC-4224) Great case. I used two old 92mm fans on top of the passive HS that came with the board. Will upgrade if my temps get out of hand (not even close yet) Corsair RM850i. Great PSU. Rock solid.
  21. I had this issue with that same board and it turned out my PSU wasn't up to the task of powering that board. Buying a much better PSU (corsair rm850i) solved the problem. Since you sent the board back I'd still invest in a very good PSU (if you haven't already).
