  1. So. I've moved and now my board is only recognizing 48gb of my 64gb of memory. I did put the board into a new case today and had not fired up the server before doing so. Stupid me. Swapped DIMMs and the same DIMMs don't recognize the memory. Going to swap CPU sockets to see if it is the onboard memory controller or the board itself. Any way this can be a weird grounding issue? Something else simple that doesn't mean my board may be on it's last legs? This blows.
  2. Hello, what is the current version of the Unifi docker? I was using 5.0.7 on my PC until I rebuilt my unRAID server and I'm unable to restore a backup due to the version mismatch. Thanks
  3. For some reason I can't get the docker to stay started. Everything installs fine, but when it tries to pull from the musicbrainz site it fails. No errors in the logs. See below. 4. For some reason my install stopped working. I didn't have much configured so I wanted to start with a clean install. That sounds easy, but I haven't been able to get a clean install. HA keeps finding my plex server and HA refuses to start. There isn't anything in the logs it just doesn't start. What am I missing?
  5. I didn't even remember this problem when I fixed my Tbs card problem! Good thing you did Technically I came across it (because of a new post I believe). I like to think my memory is good but it wasn't this good. Wow. Nice find. Makes sense and I'll see if I can find that setting. Thanks Bob.
  6. Ok. BIOS has been updated to the latest version. That resolved the freezing issue when passing through PCI devices. However, my HVR-2250 is still not being detected. It works fine in another motherboard. Attached are the logs and diagnostics after the BIOS update. unraid-diagnostics-20160326-1243.zip unraid-syslog-20160326-1242.zip
  7. Well. Now I've tried to passthrough my storage controller that all my recording drives are on and I have the same result. Unraid freezes. I've been unable to get a log to find the issue.
  8. I actually have another issue here. Now that I've tried to passthrough my second Colossus it freezes unraid as soon as I start the VM. I've stubd the devices in the 1745:3000 group, but that didn't seem to make a difference. I also enabled PCIe ACS Override and it did not make a difference. The other Colossus that works properly is in the same group and works without any issues. I'm still going to update the BIOS, but I was wondering if this is something anyone has seen before.
  9. Figured as much. I moved slots and same thing. It was fine two days ago so I'm thinking there is some sort of conflict with the board. Any ideas on how to fix that? I'll be getting an HDHR soon to fix this if I can't figure out how to get the board to recognize the card. Have you tested it in another pc? If you have, and it's working there, the only thing to try is to update the bios if there is a newer. If not, there isn't much you can do as far as I see. Thanks for that. I thought that might be it. I'll report back once I've updated the BIOS (if there is one).

  13. Odd issue here. I have two Hauppauge Colossus cards that are detected without issue, but for some reason my old HVR-2250 isn't showing up in the device list. That or I can't locate it. I'm using a Server 2012 R2 VM and need the card to record my OTA channels. I'm not sure what I'm missing, but it looks to me like it isn't being detected at all. I've searched the forum and plenty of you guys use them so I know it should be showing up. 14. I've looked everywhere and can't find an answer to my question. Why do I not have the option to configure the server? The we GUI keeps telling me to download a server instance. I'm moving PMS off of my windows server to the docker and for some reason the docker found the windows server and has never let me configure the docker server. I've followed https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201370363-Move-an-Install-to-Another-System and it did not help. I'm trying to look at the preferences.xml to see if there is something there that is causing this, but I've removed the docker and the share to start over. Everything has been recreated without any errors, but I still can't configure the server. Even after the preferences.xml is re-created I can't edit or view it. Could something be stored in the docker.img that is causing this? How would I find out? I can start over, but I'd rather not delete the docker.img and have to re-configure all of my dockers. I've got to be missing something simple. EDIT: It was simple. I had network set as bridged instead of host. Woops.
  15. The 50 lines are not SuperFlower, they are Seasonic rebrands. The 00 lines are SuperFlower. Still a much better choice. though you might want to check the Good Deals forum, I posted a link to an $85.00 Seasonic X-850. Same PSU you're looking at, and Currently what's powering the Juggernaut, My Dual E5-2670. That PSU is a great buy, I'll have to grab one. I ended up borrowing a Corsair RM850i and the board now boots fine with all memory installed and both CPUs. I guess my cx600 just didn't cut it. I'll keep it as a spare I guess. I may keep the Corsair. Got a great review http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=441. Nice so its just a PSU issue. How are the passive heatsinks working? I had to put fans on top of each, but once I did that temps haven't gotten above 44c running memtest in annopen test bench. The real test will be when it gets into my server case with all the drives. Luckily there are 5 120mm fans and 2 80mm fans in the back. Success!! What size are the heatsinks, so I know what fans to order. Thanks I'll check to make sure, but I'm pretty sure they are 92mm
  16. I feel the same way. All this power will sit idle 80% of the time, might as well use it for good.

  20. Are you aware of how bad the reputation for the CX series is? (one link) One of the comments I read recently was that it's regrettable that many users start with an inexpensive CX series PSU in one system, then try to move it to a new and better system and have problems and can't believe it could possibly be their CX series PSU, since it 'worked so well before'. Of course, it may not be the PSU, but your comment struck me, after just reading the other comments about cheap Corsairs recently. No, wasn't aware. I thought that Seasonic built the Corsair units, but apparently not this line. I'm going to go grab one of these EVGA 850 G2 units. Super Flower OEM with a 10 year warranty. I think that may (or not) solve the issue.
  21. I'm having some issues with that board. I can't get it to boot on the teat bench. I even removed cpu2 and all but one stick of ram. I keep getting the 1-5-4-2 beep code. Says it is an unexpected power loss error, but the cx600 I'm using works fine in my other server. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  22. Welp. It looks like my cx600 PSU won't work with the s2600cp. I got a molex to 8 pin adapter, but keep getting power errors. Thoughts?
  23. You're going to need some serious airflow to keep the temps down, and/or ducting... With 4U Supermicro SNK-P0050AP4 coolers with about sustained 70% load my CPUs are running 70c and the max temp is 80C. I may try changing out the thermal paste when I install more RAM. I figured as much. I'll see how they do, but plan on getting something better.
  24. Picked up one from natex. Even got an email asking if it being a dual nic board was OK. Already shipped. Seems legit enough to me. Got the board today. Well packed. No way it could have been damaged in shipping. They used two heavy copper heatsinks to protect the sockets so that's something I won't have to buy if they keep the CPU heat in check. Dual nic board with 6 pcie slots will work great for me since I can merge my two servers into one now. CPUs will be here tomorrow. Can't wait. Mine come tomorrow, do you know if the heatsinks are passive or will we need to get fans for them? Thanks They are indeed passive copper heatsinks. Yup. Wasn't expecting free heatsinks. Hope they work well with this cpu. I have spare fans I could add to them if I needed to. The board they sent me looks brand new so hopefully it has a lot of life left in it.
