  1. This actually was sort of the issue. There was nothing wrong with the flash drive, but after several years, there was something bad in the unraid files. I just did a stock install of unraid on it and transferred my config folder and that fixed it. I was finally able to boot up without enabling csm and using just the onboard graphics. Thanks for the help.
  2. I already did. The EFI folder does not have the trailing- and it just keeps rebooting back to bios unless I have csm enabled.
  3. I'm trying to upgrade my system but the secure boot is messing up everything. I'm wanting to use the onboard graphics but from what I'm discovering, that's not possible. I disable secure boot and all that goes with it, but it will not boot unraid. It keeps taking me back to the bios and it just keeps looping back to the bios with every restart. The only way I've gotten it to boot up to unraid is by enabling csm and the only way to do that is to use a GPU. I have made sure the EFI folder does not have the trailing -, so I'm not sure what I'm missing. I'm using an Asus primez790-v wifi with an i9-12900k. I've also tried it with a gigabyte b760 Gaming X AX and it's the same for both. Why can't I boot to unraid without enabling csm? I can boot to a windows setup, but not unraid.
  4. I’ve run a check with no errors. It’s a left over folder from lan cache. Yes I can stop the array without issue. I will say that I get errors when I try and update any plugin or update unraid. Once I do a reboot that gives me an unclean shutdown, it’ll let me update again.
  5. I've had a recurring issue for a little while. I keep getting unclean shutdowns recently even though it appears everything is still running and stopping correctly. I don't have the vm manager running at all so I know it's not that. I've tried the recent updates to 6.12.5 and still no change. I also have a folder on my cache drive that will not delete. I've tried the dynamix file manager and try and delete it but nothing happens when I do. I've also tried mc but it says resource is busy. It's empty, the docker that used that folder is deleted, there's nothing using it but I can't get rid of it no matter what I do. I've attached my diagnostic logs if any one can help because I have no clue what I'm looking for in all that information. tower-diagnostics-20231129-1239.zip
  6. Can someone help me with what the heck is happening? I keep seeing this error in the log and it keeps giving me a "starting services" constantly. I also noticed on my windows pc that the network link for my unraid keeps disappearing and reappearing. tower-diagnostics-20230708-1419.zip
  7. I'm not sure what happened overnight, but I woke up this morning to "Failed to load Radarr. Version 4.5.2.7388". I've tried restarting the docker, restarting the server, uninstalling and reinstalling the docker, and nothing seems to help. I've attached the docker log as well as the radarr logs. radarr log.txt radarr.0.txt
  8. appdata I would think is the main folder. The rest are from rclone
  9. Upgraded to 6.11.5 and lost almost all my shares and docker service wouldn't start as well. Downgraded back to 6.11.4 and everything returned to normal. tower-diagnostics-20221121-0803.zip
  10. Are you using rclone? Look at the answer to my problem just a couple above.
  11. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! That finally fixed it! I'm sorry I didn't mention rclone but I didn't know that was important. You were the first one to ever ask questions to help. I literally was just told that it's working for everyone else so it's a problem on my end. No one ever actually helped me find the root cause by asking questions so I could actually give useful info. I'm not in IT, I'm just a hobbyist and am struggling to find my way through. I'm great with Google, but that only takes you so far. Thanks again!
  12. Yes it is still doing it on the stable branch as well as the release candidates. Everything past the 6.10.1 rc1 fails to import. It's the exact same with sonarr
  13. It is ridiculous that this problem has been going on for months and months and I’ve tried to get help and there’s absolutely none to be found. I guess I’m stuck on rc1 until I find a better os that actually comes with some support instead of snide comments from other users that says “there’s thousands of other users who aren’t having problems so it must be something on your end”. No kidding, but that’s why I’m trying to get help.
  14. Nope. It's on a normal share as part of the array, but thanks for the reply.
  15. Let's see if anyone can help here since the main thread says I should come here because it's obviously not a problem with unraid since other people have upgraded without issue. I've had the same problem ever since unraid 6.10.0 rc2 and up. Rc1 works fine but as soon as I try and upgrade, sonarr and radarr can no longer import files anymore. If I downgrade back to rc1, it starts importing again. This is what I get: 2022-05-20 22:56:49.5|Warn|ImportApprovedMovie|Couldn't import movie /Downloads/completed/Monstrous.2022.1080p.WEBRip.x265-RARBG/f6af30f5f5b841a5a079452fe2dd70fd.mp4 [v4.1.0.6175] System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path '/Plex/Scary Movies/Monstrous (2022)' is denied. ---> System.IO.IOException: Permission denied --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.IO.FileSystem.CreateDirectory(String fullPath) at System.IO.Directory.CreateDirectory(String path) at NzbDrone.Common.Disk.DiskProviderBase.CreateFolder(String path) in D:\a\1\s\src\NzbDrone.Common\Disk\DiskProviderBase.cs:line 189 at NzbDrone.Core.MediaFiles.MovieFileMovingService.CreateFolder(String directoryName) in D:\a\1\s\src\NzbDrone.Core\MediaFiles\MovieFileMovingService.cs:line 189 at NzbDrone.Core.MediaFiles.MovieFileMovingService.EnsureMovieFolder(MovieFile movieFile, Movie movie, String filePath) in D:\a\1\s\src\NzbDrone.Core\MediaFiles\MovieFileMovingService.cs:line 159 at NzbDrone.Core.MediaFiles.MovieFileMovingService.EnsureMovieFolder(MovieFile movieFile, LocalMovie localMovie, String filePath) in D:\a\1\s\src\NzbDrone.Core\MediaFiles\MovieFileMovingService.cs:line 139 at NzbDrone.Core.MediaFiles.MovieFileMovingService.MoveMovieFile(MovieFile movieFile, LocalMovie localMovie) in D:\a\1\s\src\NzbDrone.Core\MediaFiles\MovieFileMovingService.cs:line 75 at NzbDrone.Core.MediaFiles.UpgradeMediaFileService.UpgradeMovieFile(MovieFile movieFile, LocalMovie localMovie, Boolean copyOnly) in D:\a\1\s\src\NzbDrone.Core\MediaFiles\UpgradeMediaFileService.cs:line 75 at NzbDrone.Core.MediaFiles.MovieImport.ImportApprovedMovie.Import(List`1 decisions, Boolean newDownload, DownloadClientItem downloadClientItem, ImportMode importMode) in D:\a\1\s\src\NzbDrone.Core\MediaFiles\MovieImport\ImportApprovedMovie.cs:line 123
  16. So no one has any ideas or suggestions? We're just stuck on rc1 for the rest of our lives or do I just have to hope that maybe someday it will accidentally get addressed in a future release? There's no actual support for the software I paid for, so I have to hope the community can help but it's been all crickets.
  17. Like the title says, both rc2 and rc3 break sonarr and radarr where it will no longer import the movies and shows. Here's what the radarr log is showing: [v4.0.5.5981] System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path '/Plex/Movies/XXXXXXXXXXXX' is denied. ---> System.IO.IOException: Permission denied --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.IO.FileSystem.CreateDirectory(String fullPath) at System.IO.Directory.CreateDirectory(String path) at NzbDrone.Common.Disk.DiskProviderBase.CreateFolder(String path) in D:\a\1\s\src\NzbDrone.Common\Disk\DiskProviderBase.cs:line 190 at NzbDrone.Core.MediaFiles.MovieFileMovingService.CreateFolder(String directoryName) in D:\a\1\s\src\NzbDrone.Core\MediaFiles\MovieFileMovingService.cs:line 197 at NzbDrone.Core.MediaFiles.MovieFileMovingService.EnsureMovieFolder(MovieFile movieFile, Movie movie, String filePath) in D:\a\1\s\src\NzbDrone.Core\MediaFiles\MovieFileMovingService.cs:line 151 at NzbDrone.Core.MediaFiles.MovieFileMovingService.MoveMovieFile(MovieFile movieFile, LocalMovie localMovie) in D:\a\1\s\src\NzbDrone.Core\MediaFiles\MovieFileMovingService.cs:line 72 at NzbDrone.Core.MediaFiles.UpgradeMediaFileService.UpgradeMovieFile(MovieFile movieFile, LocalMovie localMovie, Boolean copyOnly) in D:\a\1\s\src\NzbDrone.Core\MediaFiles\UpgradeMediaFileService.cs:line 51 at NzbDrone.Core.MediaFiles.MovieImport.ImportApprovedMovie.Import(List`1 decisions, Boolean newDownload, DownloadClientItem downloadClientItem, ImportMode importMode) in D:\a\1\s\src\NzbDrone.Core\MediaFiles\MovieImport\ImportApprovedMovie.cs:line 123 I've tried docker safe new permissions but that didn't do anything. I have to revert back to rc1 to get them working again. I'd appreciate any help so I can actually upgrade again. TIA
  18. I did figure out the problem, it had files in the local folder that was causing the issues from the last reboot. That's the problem with my umount script. It doesn't really do anything and it causes an unclean shutdown. Here's my script. I'd gladly take any advice on how to do these better. 19. I'm not sure what's happened but I can't mount my remote share anymore. It used to just give me this "Failed to start remote control: start server failed: listen tcp 127.0.0.1:5572: bind: address already in use" for a little while and then it would start working again but it's just not working anymore. I have gotten this error for the better part of the day. I've tried changing the port to no avail. I'm not very good with rclone but I did have it functioning and had my plex collection stored remotely but I'm at a loss. I've always had trouble with it using the cleanup script, like it did nothing and then I would have an unclean shutdown and several errors that the parity check would automatically run and fix but now I'm getting absolutely nowhere with it. I've attached the user script log but I think it's pretty generic and not telling too much. log.txt
  20. I would appreciate some help from anyone. I'm not good with rclone but I'd like to use it with Google drive. I followed spaceinvader one's 4 year old video but it's changed a lot since then. I've got my drives setup like in the video. I've got a google and a secure. I found the github scripts for mounting, unmounting and uploading, but I have no idea how to change those to fit my needs. I'm wanting to first copy my Plex folder to it and then start having my plex use the cloud files. Here's my mount part that I edited: RcloneRemoteName="secure" # Name of rclone remote mount WITHOUT ':'. NOTE: Choose your encrypted remote for sensitive data RcloneMountShare="/mnt/user/google" # where your rclone remote will be located without trailing slash e.g. /mnt/user/mount_rclone RcloneMountDirCacheTime="720h" # rclone dir cache time LocalFilesShare="/mnt/user/Plex" # location of the local files and MountFolders you want to upload without trailing slash to rclone e.g. /mnt/user/local. 21. Another problem I've noticed since this all started is that my plex and emby are getting what I call pixelated "ghost" images. The picture will show a pixelated frozen portion of the screen for a second or two then catch up with the sound. This happens on all videos, even the direct play with no transcoding. I just tried using my backup plex and emby servers on one of the same files on my windows 10 machine but it was still pulling the files off of my unraid server and the movie was perfect. No glitching of picture so it has to be something with my unraid machine.
  22. I've rerun SMART short tests on all the drives and they all completed without errors.
