  1. how do I schedule this at 11:30 or 00:30? what is the correct cron syntax for this? the online generator doesn't seem to work.
  2. I am trying user scripts to shutdown my server at night. Would these lines work? #!/bin/bash powerdown | at 01:30 Should the powerdown plugin be installed, or is this functionality now included in unraid 6.3.5?
  3. thanks, seems ok now. what was the cause? does it need to generate they key and cert or are they corrupt?
  4. that link doesn't seem correct. it points me to a beging page
  5. the SABNZB docker page showed update ready and I updated, now I cant reach SABNZB anymore. It seems to be running though, I get a green arrow. log shows: 2017-07-05 22:41:30,122 DEBG 'sabnzbd' stderr output: 2017-07-05 22:41:30,122::ERROR::[_cplogging:219] [05/Jul/2017:22:41:30] ENGINE Shutting down due to error in start listener: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/opt/sabnzbd/cherrypy/process/wspbus.py", line 245, in start self.publish('start') File "/opt/sabnzbd/cherrypy/process/wspbus.py", line 225, in publish raise exc ChannelFailures: SSLError(336245134, u'[SSL: CA_MD_TOO_WEAK] ca md too weak (_ssl.c:2699)') 2017-07-05 22:41:30,122 DEBG 'sabnzbd' stderr output: 2017-07-05 22:41:30,122::INFO::[_cplogging:219] [05/Jul/2017:22:41:30] ENGINE Bus STOPPING 2017-07-05 22:41:30,124 DEBG 'sabnzbd' stderr output: 2017-07-05 22:41:30,124::INFO::[_cplogging:219] [05/Jul/2017:22:41:30] ENGINE HTTP Server cherrypy._cpwsgi_server.CPWSGIServer(('0.0.0.0', 8080)) shut down 2017-07-05 22:41:30,124 DEBG 'sabnzbd' stderr output: 2017-07-05 22:41:30,124::INFO::[_cplogging:219] [05/Jul/2017:22:41:30] ENGINE HTTP Server None already shut down 2017-07-05 22:41:30,124 DEBG 'sabnzbd' stderr output: 2017-07-05 22:41:30,124::INFO::[_cplogging:219] [05/Jul/2017:22:41:30] ENGINE Stopped thread '_TimeoutMonitor'. 2017-07-05 22:41:30,124 DEBG 'sabnzbd' stderr output: 2017-07-05 22:41:30,124::INFO::[_cplogging:219] [05/Jul/2017:22:41:30] ENGINE Bus STOPPED 2017-07-05 22:41:30,124 DEBG 'sabnzbd' stderr output: 2017-07-05 22:41:30,124::INFO::[_cplogging:219] [05/Jul/2017:22:41:30] ENGINE Bus EXITING 2017-07-05 22:41:30,125 DEBG 'sabnzbd' stderr output: 2017-07-05 22:41:30,124::INFO::[_cplogging:219] [05/Jul/2017:22:41:30] ENGINE Bus EXITED 2017-07-05 22:41:30,127 DEBG fd 8 closed, stopped monitoring <POutputDispatcher at 47811641720128 for <Subprocess at 47811562678896 with name sabnzbd in state STARTING> (stdout)> 2017-07-05 22:41:30,127 DEBG fd 10 closed, stopped monitoring <POutputDispatcher at 47811642369376 for <Subprocess at 47811562678896 with name sabnzbd in state STARTING> (stderr)> 2017-07-05 22:41:30,127 INFO exited: sabnzbd (exit status 70; not expected) 2017-07-05 22:41:30,127 DEBG received SIGCLD indicating a child quit 2017-07-05 22:41:31,129 INFO gave up: sabnzbd entered FATAL state, too many start retries too quickly
  6. I have an older server that is still on a 6.2 beta. I tried to update but it wants to update to 6.2 stable first which it doesn't seem to be able to download. Can I just copy to the 6.3.5 files to its USB and keep fingers crossed when booting??
  7. I just installed Dolphin and so far I can browse disk, shares and folders nicely. Can I also use qpar to check files downloaded with sabnzbd and use unrar to unpack those files? Is it also possible to change the view from folder to list view?
  8. Well several 3TB disks will be upgraded to 6 TB.
  9. I know, just strange that this share behave differently.
  10. Hi, have an issue on my main server. The server has 24 disks in the array, but when I recalculate space on the Media share it shows that only 16 disks are used for that share. The settings for that share are the same as for others that show all 24 disks are used. Diagnostics are attached. tower1-diagnostics-20170413-1923.zip
  11. Those PSUs will likely be very loud constanly, be warned. I will run unraid however.
  12. Try resetting cmos, reseating cpu and ram, reseating and check power connectors, both 24 pin and 8 pin.
  13. yellow mean stanby. is the power on switch faulty? Or do you switch on through IPMI?
  14. Parity disk first. rebuilt and check parity. then data disks one at a time. preclear disks first.
  15. Still need a 1u case first. Don't know how much space watercooling takes.
  16. Can anyone recommend a silent 19 inch case for use in an audio rack. I plan to build an audio storage-only server that only runs an Asset UPNP docker. Fanless is a plus. It will house a Supermicro X7SPA-H-D525 motherboard and I plan to use 2.5 inch drives. It will do no downloading or transcoding.
  17. You can try to run this and check if a disk is performing below par.
  18. I have 2 Supermicro rack cases, a 24 bay CSE 846 and a 36 bay CSE 847. I only have simple pass trough backplanes, SAS846TQ which has 24 SATA connectors onboard which are connected with 6 breakout cables to 3 M1015 controllers and the other server has a SAS846A and SAS826A backplane which are connected through 6 and 4 SFF8087 to SAS8087 cables. All backplanes support 8 TB disks just fine upto 6BG/s. If in doubt you can always ask Supermicro.
  19. Is there a way to avoid the "Seagate drop"? What is causing it?
  20. I mounted an M1015 in this case without so much modding. Just a small cut in plastic was needed. found it on the freenas side. https://forums.freenas.org/index.php?threads/silverstone-ds380-and-m1015.19255/
  21. After I copied its data to another disk I unassigned a disk and set a new config. No writes occurred to the other disks in the array. Can I now start the array and tick the parity is valid box?
  22. Yeah, saw that later too. Better option would be a sas846A backplane or a SAS2 backplane. All the nice stuff seems to have vanished.
  23. Perhaps this could be an option: http://www.ebay.com/itm/4U-Supermicro-Superchassis-SC846E1-R900B-24-Bay-SAS-SATA-Chassis-JBOD-Server-/142272702571?hash=item21201d286b:g:-fQAAOSwEjFXfqqV Dezent case. Perhaps you can find a mobo cpu and RAM on ebay too.
  24. A disk has developed reallocated sectors and I like to check if it will increase the reallocated sector count after a few preclear runs. Can I just unassign the empty disk and then run a preclear on it, without losing parity or should I set a new config anyhow?
  25. At point 15 of the guide I am asked to change ReiserFS to XFS and vice versa. But what if the format box is auto? It may be repeated to double check the parity valid box is checked. The message in red at the top appears in a different place than the checkbox If you have more than 10 drives in the array or a lower res screen you might not see it immediately. Can this also be done without without setting a new config and swapping disks? Cant you just stop the array, change format of the new empty disk to xfs, start the array, let the empty disk be formatted and start a new copy cycle? Or will parity always be broken this way?
