YES! This is exactly what I wanted to do... but doesn't seem to work :( What I did: Did a vfio-bind of my dual realtek card Like so. then added two virtual MACs ending with 56 and 57. Didn't work. Removed the virtual MACs. Didn't work. Can you share your xml?

I just did a 3615, with a vfio bind of a realtek card that I know worked bare-metal. Connections keep dropping out for some reason over time. Does anybody know why and how to fix this?

Every so often, I get the dreaded "500 Internal Server Error" with the unraid webui. Tried searching for ways to reboot just the nginx, but I figured there might be some underlying issues that need to be addressed when this keeps happening. Not sure if it's related to the fact that every single reboot command will trigger a parity check. It doesn't if I manually disable docker, VM, and array before the reboot. the diagnostics file is right after the WebUI is gone. I shutdown an Xpenology VM via the web ui, and waited for macinabox to do something but doesn't seem to be responding. I removed another macinabox docker container, and the loading animation doesn't seem to wanna go away. Other containers seem to be working fine currently, but doing a docker rm macinabox shows no such container. System is accessible via SSH and SCP. Running the latest rc2 - 6.9.2? I'd need help with ESXi recognizing passthrough drives using VIRTIO drivers. Something like this Doesn't seem to work. Would be nice if I can use the full potential of the hdds

I did it because if it works, I will have to deploy this into a number of places namely in a few offices of mine. So it's quite important for me to know if I can recreate the error, it would mean it's not my unraid or internet or my side in general that's the issue. Basically, because I wanna know if the error is from my side or a bug in the package. I destroyed the container, removed the nextcloud appdata folder and recreated the container again and seems like the error is there. But if I manually download Community Document Server it works. So right now I'm guessing... it's an issue with my internet. Will try again in a few hours tonight

Very sure. This is my image config: And I recorded a video. But hey, it works at the 3rd time of install lol! Steps I did: 1. Open a terminal in unraid, and rm -rf /mnt/user/appdata/Nextcloud folder 2. Created this image and run it 3. Start the install. Note that it says some apps failed to install, not sure which app. During my first and second try, it didn't mention any error. 4. This time it... works! Not sure why. I made a video, fast forwarded most of the really long parts this time. Slightly longer than a minute. I don't mind talking via discord. Am I doing something wrong? I wanted this container because it has onlyoffice built in, and I've never ever been able to install onlyoffice before for some reason. But added this docker, ran it, and supposedly I should be able to just click on + and create new word or spreadsheet straight away, right? Only thing I did differently when I added the container was setting a static IP to 192.168.0.33.

The warnings are these: apart from the docker updates, I have no idea how to move files from cache. Move Now option doesn't work. And the errors are all about setting mounted folders to RW/slave for containers that I don't really run anymore. Basically in safe mode no plugins are running, so since I'm currently running my plex+gdrive and need rclone, I have to reinstall rclone and CA and fix common problems and user scripts plugin when running this in safe mode. So there was a neighbourhood-wide electricity blackout last night. So this morning when I woke up I find unraid not loading the web gui. Unraid 6.8.1. So okay, I figured I'll just copy /boot/config folder and the key, reflash unraid to 6.8.2, copy back the config folder and all would be well. Except that it's not, problem's still there. No hardware changes, no software changes, no settings changed for a week or two at least prior. There was a fuse trip where I put my pc a few days before, and nothing happened apart from parity check afterwards. Booting unraid in safe mode works. Gui works. VM and docker works once I start my array. installing CA and rclone and other plugin works, but of course everything gets wiped out if I reboot. But if reboot via terminal, something like this pops up: Gracefully shutting down php-fpm: no pid. Actually I meant to say that it didn't work via unassigned devices, so I was wondering if there's another way to manually do it.

Good day, I'm trying to re-create a share (NFS or CIFS) in unraid that has spaces in it. Reason is I'm trying to migrate my main plex media server from Synology to UnRaid, while preserving the directory structure that my plex server recognize. So I can just migrate the server while preserving folder location and metadata. I have a lot of custom media (not available in IMDB or TVDB or any other), and recreating these will take me ages. Tried creating nfs shares results in this. Note the _ in 4K Movies and TVShows Kids folder. Searching the forums doesn't seem to help.

Someone tried it and successfully passthrough a ps/2 device! I copied the text just as a backup: To find the eventID, type this in ssh and find the handle for the keyboard (in my case it's event1). So I tried putting the <qemu:arg.../> in the xml, but it didn't work. I do use UPS, and 95% of the time my system manages to shutdown gracefully. But gracefully or not, the inaccessible array part when trial ends is a bit of a concern to me. It's up to the point that I'm checking PayPal availability every few hours lol. If debit card from Malaysia works with the "check out now with credit card" option then I'll do it the moment I get a confirmation 😁

OK that's good to know, but every so often (like once a month or two) the fuse where I store the server trips by itself. Is there an estimated/rough time as to when PayPal becomes available again?

I linked PayPal with my debit card, and since my trial is going to end in a few hour's time, I decided to just purchase unraid yesterday night (close to 20 hours ago). Tried using PayPal and it just couldn't go through. Thought it was my card problem, but I purchased something else yesterday and it was fine. Just tried again and saw PayPal is down. with 4 hours of Trial left to go, I'm worried my data won't be accessible tomorrow. Advice?

I'm exactly 30 days into the trial 1. ESXi. But esxi free is limited to 8 cores per VM, and for the life of me I just can't get nvidia GPUs to passthrough. With unraid it was super easy (as long as I use an older driver, the same with AMD apparently due to the bug in their control panel) 2. easily not really. but easy enough. once you understand how it's rather easy. I just changed the boot line into label Unraid OS menu default kernel /bzimage append vfio-pci.ids=8086:150e,1106:3483 initrd=/bzroot kvm_intel.nested=1 with 8086:150e being my quad port gigabit for example. 3. Refer #1 but no they won't by default without any GPU it'll auto assign an emulated monitor via web-based VNC. 4. I believe if you assign the SSD as cache it'll auto load the files into that. 5. don't think so. only way that I know and currently use is 1 windows VM, with multiple (nested) windows VM via hyper-v and remotefx (1GB of GPU ram per VM). enable RDP, enable remotefx rendering in the windows host's (and the nested VMs' group policy) and use RDP client's connected USB device with the connected VM.
