Solutions

  1. Unraid-arr's post in [HELP] After Rebooting a working server... stuck at array starting and nothing happens was marked as the answer   
    Figured out in case anyone sees this in future. 
     
    It was the UNRAID connect API that was the culprit.
    Unraid Connect plugin version - 2025.02.21.1240
    Unraid version - 6.12.15
    Removed that and now system works no problem.
